Big thanks to Stekker from Potenza DSP for hanging out in the chat and enlightening us all to the intricacies of the mighty Amigo sampler. Check the description for a discount on the lush 'Aquatic Dreams' by my good friend Groovin in G. Thanks to everyone in the chat for keeping me on my toes. Love you all. And if you enjoyed this, a like is hugely appreciated. Thanks.
Wicked track mate, great vibe - exactly what I hoped people would make with this pack! Very Progression Sessions Esq :) I’ve been all over Amigo also, such a fun plugin. Love the polyphonic sample chops you were doing at 3:18 - that’s actually one of the techniques + lots of processing I was using to make the record chops. 56:00, 1:03:00 - The arpy little blip bloops with the phase automation, so dope :) Cheers for showcasing my sample pack - looking forwards to the next stream we do together 😊🚀
Me too man! Yeah thanks so much. It comes through how much you love and care about making sounds. I enjoy sound design, but I know when I hear stuff that has been made with a real ear for detail, and wanting to give the producer a proper quality experience. Case in point with this pack. Or packs! It was a pleasure to make something with them, and tbh I barely scratched the surface here! Yeah man, I'm loving the amigo. I can't wait to spend a bit more time with it. Feels like a deceptively simple tool that can go really deep. And I just love the way it sounds. A match made in heaven here. Or maybe deep beneath the waves?
Haha thanks so much! I think there's a few jungle dads in the mix here, you're in good company! Yeah, phantom crying. It's never left me, even tho mine are a bit older now and usually sleep pretty good. Parental shell shock haha. And sometimes making music, the sounds I'm working on can trip me out my kids are calling me!
Aw cheers, thanks so much! Definitely more with the Amigo soon, and in a similar fashion to this one - I tend to start most of my tunes in a similar way to this :) thanks again.

“I think I might have to pause one second; I think I can hear my son crying” This is my life too, as an ageing junglist😂
Really great video btw

@@distantlands343 rave dads in the house 😂
This track takes me back.
Thanks so much! I reckon the Amigo is probably a lot easier to use then tools were back 1994-00 haha, we live in a blessed time for music production!
@@HumanSynthetics Infinitely easier.
This video is insane, the amount things I have learned is incredible. And probably I'm going to rewatch it again. Thanks!!!
What a lovely comment, thank you @maroxcore I'm glad to share it and thank you for letting me know you enjoyed it. Big up!
This is so good! Thanks man.
My pleasure - really pleased people still get stuff from the older streams
I’ve discovered there are several things in the world called “the RX50”: there’s a motorbike, an electric guitar, and headphones. Maybe more😅
All good things eh? The guitar is an ibanez yeah? I had a close model. Maybe even that one?!
awesome vid mate... please do more like this 👍
