I believe Syd got his fame from his coco mind and state of mysteriousness he sunk in. I don't see syd contributing in the greatest Pink's songs. He has no real musical footprint. I don't care what critics says, he would've ruined the band. Peaceful a d happy new year ✌️🕊️

'74' I had a mentor give Us an old US Air Force pilots helmet which I jimmie wired to the stereo.Used to have a puff and pull down the sun visor and get lost in this and Dark Side FOR DAYS! It was a fine time to be a teen! No Social Media ,just genuine Social Engagement and reason😊

Echoes is the song that turned me on to Pink Floyd. FM radio used to be an underground music and culture outlet. 1:00am and this song pours out of the speaker. I call the station. Pink Floyd. That was it. Never had enough.
Most of my friends were doing drugs at the time to get high. I found a band that would get me high without drugs. It was a good timing back in 1971-2, when I first heard "Echoes" and almost at the same time "the needle and the damage done" by Neil Young. Never needed drugs since.
