I had an opportunity to try out the bullet train in Japan in 2004, and I was taken back by how smooth it was at full speed. I hope to return to Japan soon. 🙏😃
if you want to record stations probably you can use something like sennheiser ambeo to record binaural sounds. also this video has tinted picture (greenish) I guess because of the windows. I think it is better to correct white balance. Thanks for sharing!
I'd definitely like to do a binaural version in the future. The white balance is corrected in the video, but due to the age of the camera and other factors, it would require quite a bit more work to get it perfect.
Amos - by any chance have you ever listened to Star Guitar by The Chemical Brothers when making that trip? Your video makes me think of the classic Gondry video for that song! ua-cam.com/video/0S43IwBF0uM/v-deo.html
Best part is when you are standing on the station’s platform and a Shinkansen passes in front of you… amazing
must have a great DAC if it's that smooth!
That has to feel so good!!! 🤤
Aww man, something else to add to my bucket list. Great video!
thanks for sharing the view of 300 km/h of shinkanshen.
Will you now be using the sound track of the train video with your reviews to check headphones for speed?
Oh I miss it soooo much

Greetings from Melbourne. Gosh, Japan looks so enticing after what we have been thru here. Wish I could join you ❤️
I’m in the States and have been watching in horror what’s been going on in your country. Take good care. 🙏
@@Ali_Shafai Thank you Ali
First second I thought that was a Qantas jet at 7:25 but it was JAL. Can anyone guess Japanese pronounce Qantas.
Industrious little fellows, aren't they
I have always wondered, Thanks for borrowing your sight instead of your ears. It doesn’t seem extremely fast when you get use to it.
