Get to know an artist. Someone that draws/paints. I was in my 40s,thinking all my life I had a sort of square round or fat square face, and the artist I was crying about it to said "you have a heart shape face. Period. Don't argue with me. I have an art degree and spent countless hours studying and dissecting the shape of faces and body parts." Mind blown.

I love that you don't take concealer all the way up. You only need to conceal the dark circles, not the entire under eye. It really looks unnatural when people do that, yet that's what we've been told for years by beauty gurus & magazines. It looks so bad! Ali Andreea made a great point that there's a nice shadow right underneath the waterline and if you smack concealer on there it makes your eyes looks smaller. Not to mention that it'll completely crease in like 3 mns after application.

Yes! I used to think I need to apply a thick layer of colour corrector and then another layer of light coloured concealer on the entire under eye area but after watching these videos I’ve come to realise that the way I was doing my concealer made me look a bit weird, it just looked unnatural and made my eyes look smaller. Now I only apply a very thin amount of a salmon coloured concealer and make sure there is a shadow underneath the waterline. Looks way better that way.

    • @Dani_Sedai

I never used concealer under my eyes because of the creasing, but as I age the darkness and wrinkles are getting worse. With the two different techniques, your nose literally looks crooked, which it normally does not. Really cool to see all of these different components together all at once. I love that you kept saying what you PREFER for the look of your own face, reminding that no way is THE way to do it. It's all about finding what you think flatters your shape and creates the look you want. Love that makeup can transform like this if we want it to! Learn so much from you!

The thin eyeliner side of the face looks way better in my opinion. I’m beginning to think that exact application to certain areas of the face to enhance natural beauty is the way to go instead of just trying to cover the face with powders colors etc. makeup is the most interesting when we are able to take our unique angles and features and play with them to get an enhanced symmetry to the face . I love that your videos show this. it’s not only fun to watch but it makes me think, hmm 🤔 what could I do different to enhance my features.

Okay I honestly liked the cheek contour on the “not you” side? What if you did that and the new lip shape and kept everything else you regularly do? Like you could feather out the roundness a bit to prevent that “sag” you mentioned or not take it in that far in general but I really liked the depth it gave your cheekbones?

I love the techniques you use. It’s like a breath of fresh air because almost too many “beauty influencers” do the “normal”/2016 makeup. It’s whatever you like best and what you feel best in. Its amazing that you can show so many different techniques and it’s so educational. So detailed. You can totally pull off both eye looks. 👌🏻 Both lip shapes are great on you. The techniques you use currently looks like less makeup. It looks smoother, more blended, and looks like you.

Would you ever consider doing a made-up eye without the false lashes? I know they’re in vogue right now, but your own lashes are so pretty, and the falsies look so heavy and obscure all the gorgeous creative work you put into your eyeshadow. Also, I think your lips are so perfect, I wish you didn’t over line them.
I ordinarily wouldn’t make these comments, but you did ask. 😊
    I enjoy your videos.

I absolutely love how all your videos emphasize that there aren’t “right” and “wrong” styles of makeup, it’s all about what you like and what suits your face. Especially because so much of it also has to do with what’s “in style.” Like right now it’s all about the foxy eyes look, but I have round little puppy eyes so the pointed look doesn’t work on my eye shape, but if you watch those silly viral comparison videos they’ll put rounded eyeliner and shadow on the “wrong” side when it really is more flattering for certain eye shapes.

  • @andersonfilmandsound

The more defined contoured lip looks great on you. I used to line my lip the other way and my mum would ask if I had just eaten a jam sandwich. Not into the JC Highlight. It looks like vintage clunky heavy frosted eyeshadow to me and does a fantastic job at presenting unflattering texture that isn't actually there. Creating more flesh on the apples of the cheeks can be soo youthful and pretty but it has to be high up on the apple, almost under the centre of the eye, top of the cheekbone and patted up to the temple. I mix a cream blush with Mac strobe cream and use my fingers to do this.

I really like the way the right side (your left side) looks. The other half looks a bit older to me (probably because of the lower lips lip stick going past the upper lip, making it look like it slants downward in a frown), while the other side seems more young and bold.
