I notice the contact surfaces between the scion and rootstock is about 2-3 inches , is this better than just 1-2 inches? You have to have the learned skill of slicing with precision so that the surfaces touch smoothly without bumps or spaces in between.

Scion from Julie mango tree. It's a characteristic of this mango not to grow buds like most other Mangoes. The potential scion most often has fine
branches instead of buds . How does on get around that issue.

Your illustration are very simple and excellent in all videos. I live in chennai tamil nadu in India we have peak summer about 40degree + and which is the best season to graft mango weather winter or during rainfall plz inform . thank you .
I don't know for sure when is the best time in your place, but in my place there are only 2 seasons, summer and rainy season. and I can do that anytime.

I graphting through use your process and new leaves comeout within 2 days and my question is that how many days after I can open it's cover.
wait for few days until the leaves touch the cover, for grafting tape wait for few months (1-2 months )

@@GraftingExamples, brother what i am suspecting is may be once rain water entered and gathered inside grafted area and damaged some grafted area, if i opened the plastic from grafted area earlier, may be would have been no damage inside. I used the plastic double and tightly, may be once entered water could not get out after i let it stay under open sky after 25 days of grafting.
