Yes I full service is a brilliant thing to do as it will give the new buyer a price of mind that it has been done and apart from the front damage and rest of the car looks really good and hope you can make a good profit on it and hope you are staying safe and well

Good video Mark. Hey hey hey another fiesta. Nice set of cars for the channel. Tint windows on the corsa are fine. You are allow a very light tint on front side windows. It more about the black out tints front windows which is illegal. You be ok on this one. Fingers crossed no engine issues when you do start em both up.

Good video again mark hope you and the family mate don't beat yourself up about the axle stands sometimes will all do stuff then think about it afterwards. An old farmer i know once said to me no one is perfect but I'm as close as you will get i liked that .. i would put a lighter tint on the corsa side windows I'm sure vodafone automotive bought over cobra so may be something do to with a tracker or something .. the will be be nice car whens done stay stafe take care during current times great channel content . i,d probably do the corsa first good video,s again i worked at a friends body shop in 2019 for a about 6 months to help him out and totally enjoyed it as i trained as a panel beater after i left school way back when but have been driving lorries for the last 25 years i wish i could go back to it full time and get off the roads keep the video,s coming

if i,d been working at my mates bodyshop when my dad passed away in 2016 i know where part of my inheritance would of gone and i would of packed the lorries in back then.

the corsa looks nice and repairable almost the same as the one the daughter done to hers that i fixed up :) the vodafone thing is just like a black box so bin it. theres a small drawer under the passengers seat i put my documents in that, the phone charging port in the rear was installed in the factory but can be easily remover and a cup holder can be put in its place. along with a 12v port

Just to let you know if your in Essex Mark there is an off the shelf Vauxhall spares called Vauxcentre in a Harold Hill . They do Mail order and you can visit, I think you said you are local to Billericay. Anything apart from factory on front is illegal on windows regarding tints .The Vodafone thing is for a wifi hotspot I think

First guess on that wee grey box would be a black box for insurance. Lots of young drivers have to put those in their cars to get cheaper insurance because they can tell when your speeding and such.
I think the tint on the front windows was available as a factory option on some 3-door Corsas, so if that's what this one has then you're fine. If you're worried, if you pop into your local police station, they should be able to arrange for a traffic officer to visit you with a tintman and check the tint for legality for you...
The little plug in the OBD port looks like an insurance black box for keeping a track on the driver. Some insurance companies require them for some drivers and on some policies. Looking at the state of this car, having one for this driver was not a bad call...
The box you found mark is an insurance blackbox my son had one in his corsa for his insurance 👍
Mark I've been a motor vehicle mechanic for 40 yrs and I must have done jobs like that thousands of times with just a jack. But I'm sure all the people that sent messages About using axle stands do that all the time. But after all's said they are correct safety first.

On the Corsa you can have a front tint up to 25% on the sides, obviously nothing on the windscreen.

Two front ends and no airbags deployed : result . On the fiesta pretty sure you can open boot with the key up where the no plate lamps are , worth checking
Two good cars there that fiesta is a lovely little car but such a sad set of wheels for a zetec s what were ford thinking 😂 you really need to invest in a jump pack as well so you can open the boots up great work 👍

That is a telematics device more than likely. Some insurers make you have them. I have had a few of them they seem to always leave them in the car.

As there's no history for the Corsa will you be doing a service on it?
As for the wheels on the Corsa I'd refurb them as it'll make the car look a whole lot better and more saleable as this style of wheel is renowned for being curbed so most look like this. It'd make for another video too.

That thing between the front seats is for an old Nokia phone, It was an optional extra plus because of that the cars ariel has two wires, one for the radio and the other for a phone, you can swap it out for a storage tray but the wire and plug that connects to it will either have to be snipped or tucked away
@BYTN I wasn't talking about the OBD port, The phone cradle between the two front seats is what I was talking about

Would your Autel not tell you last time it had the service indicator reset? I guess it wouldn't tell you what was actually done. Notice someone mentioned skirts on the Fiesta, I wouldn't bother it looks fine without them and I would imagine margins will already be tight on a 100k mile Fiesta. They both look like relatively straightforward fixes Mark, good one. I'd bin the Vodafone tracker, it's not an insurance one which are usually inaccessible and hard wired into the fuse box somewhere, bit of a pointless one being so obvious...if it had been nicked guess what the first thing would've been out the window 😂

On the Fiesta the Zetec S front splitter should be detachable to fit onto a replacement std bumper. The wheels are wrong (I think) for the car as they should be 16” snowflake pattern. It’s a long time since i looked at one so i may be wrong!

Good stock. Why not try and grab yourself a little scissor lift - makes things easier, rather than doing work at floor level. Crack on....should be done by Monday 😉

Hi it may be something like a black box for a young driver. The higher bit on the dash is because it has Bluetooth. It was an option.

Hi theVodafone dongle in the ODBC is a GPS tracker. More than likely the cars previous owner has cancelled the subscription now. It was to get cheaper insurance for young drivers

The obd Vodafone is a obd tracker mate tells you where the car is an all an how your driving I got one but Vodafone has cut the services so no longer works anymore after I not long bought it an all 👎
