I think you’re one of the few people who’s actually perfectly willing to admit when they’re wrong and today’s society that’s a rarity. I respect you for that.
Not really. All the UA-cam you reviewer own up to their mistakes. If they don’t, it looks bad on them and toy company won’t send them new toys to review.
Much respect Manny, I think my biggest issue is the legs look kinda cheap and flimsy. Granted I dont have mine in hand so I'll wait til I get it before I decide anything. But this guy I've wanted for awhile so Im gonna keep him.
I don’t think the spider legs look visually cheap. I think it looks visually good. At least on hand but judge for yourself. I like the way this figure looks more than the Iron Spider.
Zannyyy, you're all good. Everyone makes mistakes, it's okaayyyyyy we learned from them. Thanks for telling us. A true real person 😁 True true about beginning carful putting the pegs in. Sometimes they will break. Amazing video!! 👏 🙌👍😁

its a bummer that one of my favorite spider-man designs got this treatment. i was really looking forward to this one AND with the spider legs too??? its such a bummer
Of the 3 reviews I saw 2 have the legs kinda not all the way in, so I dont think is an isolated incident. But is good to point out this is likely to happen to every Superior Spiderman owner
I just got him and personally i think its really fire and love the proportions. I dont get legends very often anymore cause of how mid they usually feel but this one doesnt feel that way to me. My only real compaint i agree with you on is how they handled the neck. Idk why it turned out that way. I almost sold it cause of your review but im glad i waited😅
I'm glad that your legs finally attached the way they are suppose to. Like yourself, too many bad experiences heating Hasbro plastic has got me in trouble one too many times. I am confident there are some collectors who feel that this required step is rather concerning regarding the QC over at ML. If the limbs don't plug in by natural force, just what is Hasbro doing to collectors?
Exactly. I rarely have issues with Hasbro figures having to heat them. This was one of them and it should’ve plugged in by natural force. It just felt wrong applying anymore pressure. It felt like I was going to break it.
"Inferior Spider-Man"! LMAO! Hilarious! Glad you figured it out! I'll be using "Inferior" when mine finally comes in and I review it. Speaking of, is it the new thing for 'Tubers to get product from Canada now?
You're still not wrong. A question to ask Hasbro is why must we heat our figures when pegs should easily port into the holes? I still agree inferior Spider-man is mess though. But he is decent looking enough for my Spiderverse shelf. I'd like them to give us a Wolf-Spider figure.
@Xmanny87 yeah i agree with that, but personally id rather them be as secure as possible in the backpack since you can just remove the backpack all together.
No way buddy that you are wrong. We should never have to heat our figures to correct it. Hasbro needs to care some more, listen and execute. Except if they are doing it on purpose😢.
Thanks for update. So you are saying you had trouble "pegging in the hole" a common problem collectors face. Be sure to consult with your local action figure expert to perform better pegging.😉🤣🤣🤣
I disagree with your overall assessment, but good on you for quickly posting a correction for one aspect. I'm curious to know if you're using water or a hair dryer/heat gun for heating figures. You say you typically only go for 5 seconds, so I assume a high wattage heat gun? Even so, that's only going to get the surface warm when you need the entire piece to be hot in order to be mailable. The amount of heat exposure should depend on the thickness of the material. I personally use a hair dryer. For smaller parts and/or softer parts I go 20-30 seconds. For thicker and/or more solid parts I'll go 30-60 seconds. Also be sure you're heating sockets and not pegs. In this instance you should be heating the backpack and not the pegs on the waldoes.
I use a hairdryer. And yeah like I said I heated the socket with the pegs on first. Which was my honest mistake. The second time I just heated the backpack alone to get the sockets.
@@Xmanny87 Gotcha. Well, like I said then, I think your main issue is not heating stuff enough. I get not wanting to heat damage stuff. And the high gloss finish of the backpack in this specific instance is probably more susceptible to damage. But as long as you're not heating the exact same spot for long periods, it'll be fine. I do it all the time.
@@Xmanny87never did I think Anthony’s customs would have ranked this figure higher than manny. (Joking) but I can respect reviewers giving their honest opinion. Given I’m a shill, I’m always biased. Keep doing what you do brother
Yup but definitely dont use boiling water cause that could fuck up the figure. Heating water in a cup in the microwave for two minutes always does the trick

@@Xmanny87the iron spider legs were a letdown and hasbro knew it, that’s why they showed this figure standing on the legs first
In my opinion it’s still a design flaw if you need to heat up a figure so much to get things to work. There has to be a better way.
Respect. I thought something was strange there.

They should also need to redo Superior Venom.

Yes. Which is another reason why I needed to make this video so people can see what you just pointed out.

Honestly bro I have superior spiderman pre-ordered but somehow I'm more fascinated by that superior ock figure.
It’s not that bad. It just needed bendable tentacles.
