Another great build Louie. I like the color it came out great. That is the color I want to use on my ‘65’ Chevy Stepside Pickup. The roof is going be white. Thanks sharing you truly are a craftman.
I really enjoyed this one. At first I thought the separate tailpipes were a little sadistic and on the over-complicated side, but they turned out nice! Nicer than if all four to a side were molded as one piece.
Another cool build, Louie. This kit actually dates back to 1978 when it was the Ice Patrol and later the Billy Carter truck. I have several of those. This verson was the Hot Rod Magazine release from the mid 80s.
Good job as always. Love the stance. I had forgotten that GM still used the straight axle on the front end. The wheel accentuates really makes a difference. ❤
I found your channel about 2 weeks ago and your videos already gave me tons of techniques and ideas to try on future builds ! I come from the world of millitary modeling where you want to be the most historically accurate as possible, but i recently started to do cars and pickups and i'm having so much fun. Doing a model the way i want to and not how it should be is a such breath of fresh air. I'm looking forward for your future videos - A fellow autistic modeler 🙂
Right on!!! Glad to have you here!! I’m really thrilled you like all my tips and tricks. I really enjoy sharing my talent. Us Autistics have such a wonderful gift of artistry we must share. The point of modeling is to have fun!! Build it your way and enjoy it!! I appreciate your support. Happy Modeling.
Nice kit review. I have a couple of them. The 2 piece tires are a disappointment, they should be one piece. Beware the front axle assembly is fragile too. I got a kit that had lots of warpage. I was able to get a replacement kit. Thanks for sharing.
I had back luck with this kit back in the day. I ended up buying it twice and both models suffered from the cab being warped/out of shape in the rear, making gluing the back wall difficult
I'm beginning to wonder whether I should try lacquer spray cans. Less fuss and bother. Do you have to keep shaking the can? Does the nozzle get clogged?

WOW! Love that Turquoise Metallic paint on this ‘77 Chevy Square Body custom! Excellent work Louie!

Wow! You knocked it, out of the park with this build. I dig that color.
Nice assembly so far, boxart looks like 80's Miami Vice👍 or as you pointed out, Tron.😊
That's a cool build. I did it back in the 90's. It's a little fidelity in the end but, a nice kit and great subject. Awesome job. Thanks for sharing.
That is a sweet looking ride! I dig the color, definitely that retro feel to it. I have to add this one to my never ending want list! Nice work
Excellent build!!
Awesome Video. Always loved that Truck. Did one 30 yrs ago as the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. ❤
Awesome looking 77 Chevy, Louie!👍

The chassis in this model is fictitious or custom built. Factory C10 trucks had front independent suspension.

Awesome build Louie, great job 👍😎
cool color choice to go with the decals. Looks like something out of a magazine in the 90s.

Great build and review. Thanks for sharing!
Really nice job. Great video.
My kit arrived without the waterslide decals. Not that i needed them for my build but still
Looks great

So love the 80s look to the truck. How do you get the craft paint to stick to the plastic and not scratch off
It’s Apple Barrel brand. Works great. You can find it at Walmart.

Thank you, they work really well. Just be careful what paint you use with them, the lacquer doesn’t play well with certain paint. Happy modeling
They also made the 1977 Chevrolet pickup also as a towtruck
So what brushes did you buy, and do you like them? (I can't seem to find the right one!)
I bought a nice inexpensive set from Hobby lobby. They seem to work well.
GM didn’t use straight axles on half ton square bodies
I guess because it’s a custom truck. GM used A arms.
What glue do you use?
I use Tamiya quick set and the thicker Tamiya cement with the orange lid.
Whats the model number i lost my instructions in a hurricane
Thank you for Watching. The kit number is 14552. I hope you and your family are doing well after the hurricane. Prayers my friend.
Nice 80s color. Don't let the model building police see you sprayed laquer paint over enamel primer and enamel clear coat over that. 😂
I know right?!! 😂.
