This is absolutely one of my favourite Eurovision songs and performances of all time. Sung in their own language, using their own cultural dance, and performed with such passion and love for the music. It's such a shame that a gem like this didn't get more recognition. Still, Knez and Montenegro can be proud that they stayed true to their roots and managed to place 13th.

Great respect for singing in own native language. Really great song in a traditional atmosphere. Unfortunately, now at the Eurovision Song Contest is a rarity. Everyone will sing in English, which is a pity. Greetings from Poland! :)

There is a story that while Sergej was making his preparations with his group, in the front of his dressing room someone made a cardboard picture of Sergej in his natural size, with words above it that were: "Anybody taller?", and it was really cute and funny, becuse his a guy who's height is like 6 feet tall! :))) He is a true gem as a person, like the Knez is an old-school cat ;)) We are so proud of them, over here! :)) Thanks again, Simon! :) Blessings and greetings from me and my homeland Montenegro! :))))

I will miss Mavrovounio (Montenegro in greek) this year. This song is one of my favourite songs in Eurovision. I hope next year to return. Greetings from Greece!
Gary Boyle Speaking about this song, the musical levels in it, tune, sounds, atmosphere, I've used all my superlatives till now. Yet there's something else to pore over. Liked especially the part of "the ladies" on your comment. If this is the "case" you should go to their official video /watch?v=4giAO-2aICo There you will find different set of ladies, these are truly beautiful, but they are just heavenly, goddesses from times of Homer. Also the song and performance is pure pleasure to your whole soul and your all senses.
Gary Boyle Well it's so embarrassing, but I might have solved the "Godly" enigma now. Violinist did it. The beautiful and sensitive violinist from the official video has taken a different role on their "Olympus", also their stage performance. She starts playing her violin and then takes a place among the other chorus girls. You can see her singing just behind Mr Knez standing on the light. I didn't recognize her first and when the others were standing in the shadow, I thought there was a new girl group just for the show ... but as always God, or Goddesses speaks to you when you're in deepest perplexity. Four of the five original chorus girls and the violinist are there.
eger echos Yea I've seen the official video, fantastic panoramic views and also the godesses too.... its like a movie production.... I can picture Reigan amongst all these Goddesses fitting in very very nicely... she could be the leading female singer too.. imagine if she did a duet with this guy? wow-wee.... maybe we should forward this to Reigan and when she does a tour they could do a few shows together haha awesome, id fly out to Europe for that for sure...
Reigan and her guitar would fit perfectly in the group. Australian Aphrodite ! She could catch new dimensions and Balkan attitude in her own music too.
I never tire of seeing it and feeling it again and again... Love your language, the amazing atmosphere and your indisputable talent. Thanks a lot for your music, Zeljko and Knez. Many hugs from Spain!
I really loved this song since the first time I listened to it, even when I had no idea about the lyrics. And it's everything about the music language, because there are no borders, music unites cultures. Bravo Montenegro! Great show, great staging, love the chorus and the backing vocals were flawless, just perfection! Thanks for a wonderful show.
I still listen to this song, it's so beautiful. The instruments, his voice...give me goosebumps every time even though I don't understand anything. Favorite ballad from the contest ever! Love from Germany!

My favourite this year, such an amazing, powerful song! I really loved his live performance, conveyed so much emotion and stood out of the many English cliche songs... Too bad it's so underrated but still congrats Montenegro for chosing this great song for Eurovision
Ironically; all the comments talking about how great it is to not be singing in English are overshadowing just how beautiful it is as a song Music is worth more than the language it is written in

She could catch new dimensions and Balkan attitude in her own music too.
eger echos if you to 1:44 the girl on the right... Reigan...
I’m in love with this song!!! His voice, the vocals, the rhythm... just perfect!!! Love from Greece !! ❤️🥰❤️🥰👋👋
I never tire of seeing it and feeling it again and again... Love your language, the amazing atmosphere and your indisputable talent. Thanks a lot for your music, Zeljko and Knez. Many hugs from Spain!
The language is Serbian, the dialect is Montenegrian. Cheers and thanks! ♥
@@Filip-ml7eq Thanks too 😚!
The Best song I ever Heard at Eurovision! ♥️
I really loved this song since the first time I listened to it, even when I had no idea about the lyrics. And it's everything about the music language, because there are no borders, music unites cultures. Bravo Montenegro! Great show, great staging, love the chorus and the backing vocals were flawless, just perfection! Thanks for a wonderful show.
ronnopotter Thnks Sweden! :)
I still listen to this song, it's so beautiful. The instruments, his voice...give me goosebumps every time even though I don't understand anything. Favorite ballad from the contest ever!
Love from Germany!
Please come back, Montenegro! Greetings from Germany, 2023.
For a country that small to achieve 13th place is brilliant never thought I would see the day that Montenegro would appear on the left hand side of the table well done Knez you don't fantastic!
The song I remember best, it's in my head every day. The winner in other words. Love it.. from Norway!
george sem As a Norwegian, would you please teach the Swedes to compose. Tell them to use a tune !! I can't stand their music and still they're winning. Norway and Montenegro were my favorites... tack på förhand
Kneže, živ mi bio ,srce si cijelo ostavio tada na toj bini!❤
I actually loved this, the traditional elements and the fact he sang in his native language made it special. This is the music what Eurovision is about. Love and Peace ^^
Still think this was one of the best songs ever, I don't know what the words are, but it comes from the heart. Great singer and performance.
The most underrated songs,Montenegro,Romania,Spain ,great performances from all three .Thanks Montenegro you made me dance listening your song.greeting from UK.
unfortunately montenegro is very underrated and as a montenegrin, I feel flattered by all the lovely comments here
13 place? this isn't underrated :)
Same
da mi je neko pricao da ce knez da ovako dobro oljusti evroviziju 2015 ne bih mu verovao nema pojma
bravo knez pocepao si ih skroz
Golden (Zeljko's) tune sets in at 02:14. incredible highlight of Eurovision history. The singer actually looks like a typical bar owner in Amsterdam, but he sings really fantastically!
Why Amsterdam specifically? 🤣
@@FlowerTrollSan i live here, trust me they look like him...
Greetings from Israel! 🇮🇱 This is one of the best Eurovision songs ever...
This Eurovision was my favorite, and after Golden Boy from my country-THIS MASTERPIECE is my favorite. Even after 5 years. Gives me goosebumps every time, even though I have no idea in this language
Molitva, Lejla, Lane moje, Nije ljubav stvar and this song are top 5 ESC songs from Balkan
4 out of five written by the king himself
Oro as well, 5 out of 6...
U govno je stala moja štikla
I Corpore sano🤣🤣
also oro, lighthouse and in corpore sano (way different than the classical balkan style, but still a masterpiece)
The best Montenegrin entry so far! A truly magical performance. Knez is an amazing singer, I really became his fan :) He deserved much more than the 13th place! Greetings from Russia :):)
Ne znam po kojim se kriterijumima bira pobednik, ali ova pesma, sa fenomenalnim glasom Kneza je apsolutno najbolja!
Us , Montenegrians are very proud of this song. We didn't get the 1st place but we did alright. Knez iz a very popular singer here and i've listened to his songs since i was a child.
Regards from Montenegro and Adio!
what a wonderful and pure art of national inspiration. such a shame a polish singer Monika did not choose to sing in national language. eurovision should be all like this.respect Montenegro. From Poland:-)
One of the most beautiful songs from the Balkan countries. I love it so much ❤❤❤
Another beautiful song written by Željko Joksimović, all his five entries for the Eurovision Song Contest are beautiful. This song deserved to end much higher than it did
WOW! I loved this song and this performance :) Thank you, Montenegro. Love from Spain :)
WTF people... how come this masterpiece wasn't top 10?! Even better than Heroes. People of Montenegro, know that I love your country so much and your culture
Wow, I never knew Montenegrin was such a beautiful language....this song makes me want to go out and learn it....
Absolutely beautiful song and wonderful performance, I love the traditional element, this should have done better......Greetings from Denmark
Very, very underrated song. Should at least have been top 10 in my opinion. Fantastic singing and the overall air of the song is somewhat enchanting
Such a beautiful language... Such a beautiful song... This is exactly when good music goes beyond the barrier of language.... I don't understand a word but despite that... I love this song.
I voted for this song last night, best song by far, great singer and back-up singers.I've long since given up on the uk entries..........
Nek je pjevao na našem jeziku.Pozdrav od komšija iz Bosne i Hercegovine.❤ I da, Knez je moj omiljeni pjevaš.
0:01 Music: Željko Joksimović, he is master...
@@andrijanikolic5308 And Dejan Ivanovich. His lyrics was used by Jelena Tomasevic in Oro
I just can't put my finger on it, but those melodies, that language... So beautiful!
My WINNER! Greetings from Romania
My favourite this year, such an amazing, powerful song! I really loved his live performance, conveyed so much emotion and stood out of the many English cliche songs... Too bad it's so underrated but still congrats Montenegro for chosing this great song for Eurovision
The language is Serbian, the dialect is Montenegrian. Cheers and thanks! ♥
Ironically; all the comments talking about how great it is to not be singing in English are overshadowing just how beautiful it is as a song
Music is worth more than the language it is written in
i listen to this today 09/19/2017 and love it even more. This song stands so true to itself, many congrats to the singer who's the one to unintentionally transmit great respect to their own roots while radiating love for the multicultural audience.
Great presentation of Montenegro! Bravo for Željko Joksimović. He did great job writing this song. Also big applause for choreographer, costume makers, performance designers... Big applause for Knez. Bravo!
I absolutely love this song~ His voice is so soothing.
The little dance they did was really awesome and I think they deserved more points.
Can we talk about how beautiful this staging is??? Especially at the beginning! Perfectly complements this absolutely wonderful ballad. Truly one of the best and most underrated balkan entries imo
Intro was mesmerizing as hell 💙
Best perfomance...love the lights at the beginning. the way he sang, dancer's and chorus attitude, artworks...excellent.
So beautiful.I love Montenegro and all its people.
How is this masterpiece only 13th??? It deserved top 5. Love you Montenegro ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Once again wowed by Montenegro's performance, I can't stop listening to it!
AMAZING, EXCELLENT performance Montenegro!! Such a stunning performance. Lovely, traditional and sung in their native language it's great!!. Deserved Top 10 but they did alright. But yeah, one of the BEST of the year that's for sure!! ^^.
SanBeanzie yeah it came 13th which is the best finish ever for them
The language is Serbian, the dialect is Montenegrian. Cheers and thanks! ♥
Traditional instruments, original country language and non commercial stuff - THIS is Eurovision in it's best
What a beautful song. The performance was great as well. Knez deserved a top 10 ranking.
