SnekPL do you get traffic ticket for walking across the street? Can you play online poker? Ooh and most people live paycheck to paycheck being slaves paying for a car they can barely afford for 4-6 years

Apply for a permanent resident card. Aka: your green card. Becoming a citizen is an added bonus that includes all the privileges a naturalized citizen has.
Being a citizen of the United States of America is more than being allowed to live and potentially work there. It's basically another level of privilege you can get, after you've (likely) been granted the right to stay there without limit or with a very high time limit. The easiest way to citizenship seems to be either prove you have family there, which will vouch for you, marry a citizen or find work with a company that will vouch for you (which, because it's a complicated process, some do and most don't bother with the hassle). If you don't have family there, the easist way really seems to be to find a good company to work for. They'll make it incredibly easier for you to stay there longterm while applying for your citizenship. The thing is, you have to prove you have some kind of skill that is exceptional and not provided for by the US market. That can be an annoying hoop to jump through, I'd wager.
For anyone curious about the precursor to these steps, you have to apply for permenant residency (green card) which requires forms to be obtained and submitted. There is a processing fee of $700, and it can take between 7-33 months to approve, depending on a variety of factors.
More information from google: Once you get your green card you can't apply for US citizenship until 90 days before you meet your residency requirement. Citizenship requests take between 6 and 12 months. Renewing your green card can take much longer, so that's worth planning for too.
Even more information from google: The total cost of the citizenship request is $725. That includes $640 for application processing and $85 for "biometric services". Therefore, without including the cost of residing in the united states, the cost from applying for a green card to becoming a US citizen is $1,425. Or about $20/month over the 6 year(ish) process.

All of these Americans pissing and whining about how America is so “bad”. Show some patriotism. People don’t realize how bad some people want to live here and some whiny Americans come by and say how terrible it is. America is one of the greatest nations in the world so act like it and show some pride for your country!
How do you spend 5 years there do you just apply and then gi and spend that time pass al test and ur citizen right ...? But how are you allowed to be there for 5 years ... i mean can you find a job .... i mean you will have to support yourself
Bane Vlahović that's the question I too ask. How do people stay there for five odd years. Possibly six. They should be working. But how can one work without getting citizenship? Baffles my mind. Im going to ask it on Quora.
2:10 Just putting in the application, you are REQUIRED to stay in America... Don't give me your pity party. This can be applied to current citizens too. Just because your life sucks, doesn't mean you get free shit. America asks for 1 thing: Come. Here. Legally. Coming here illegally hurts you more than helps. Coming here illegally: You can't get an education You MAY get a job that pays $6 an hour You have to live in hiding if fear of deportation Depending on your situation, your life in America may be worse than wherever you came from. Come here legally: You CAN get an education You CAN get a job that pays damn good You DON'T have to worry about deportation You can begin building your life in America for you and your children! Ignore these fucking idiots that encourage you to come illegally. They're doing it because they think it's right, but they're hurting you rather than helping you. America asks for so little to give you so much: Time & information. Take advantage of it. Maybe if more people knew of how the system works, there'd be FAR less illegals...
It took me about 6 years and $7000, but it's well worth it. If you plan to live and make a new life in another country, then why not aspire for full citizenship. It.shows loyalty and commitment to your new country and you never have to apply for a green card (with all associated restrictions) again and you can get better work, and. fully participate in and embrace the American way of life. Good luck to all that aspire to US citizenship or permanent residence. It's an honour and privilege for me as British and now American citizen.
Yugen Dran I guess all those countries are good. There may be other smaller nations too. Do your research properly. Some smaller nations like Japan can be too good too.

Why the United States removed Blatter One of the important events of the outgoing week was the resignation of the head of FIFA Joseph Blatter. He resigned shortly after winning the election in which the United States attempted to remove him. Why? Because the head of the Football Association who lives in the West, who has his bank accounts in the West and who has relatives and friends here is not in the position to resist the combined might of the Superpower. In this situation his departure undefeated (although without a chance of eventual victory) is acceptable both to him and to the US. In an interview for Pravda.ru (in Russian) I told why Washington attacked FIFA: As soon as the controversy concerning the performance of our hockey team at the World Cup subsided, a new topic came up, the scandal in FIFA. What is this all about - fight against corruption or politics? “I think the silver medal at the World Championship is an achievement and we must learn to support our players, not just in moments of triumph. We should thank them for the silver and hope for gold next year in Moscow. I think this is the right attitude.” (...) The author said that the FIFA scandal it is not at all about football. "The United States staged a public beating to one of the most influential people of the world of sport. It was important for them to show that they can destroy a reputation and career of anybody within a week. This signal not at all to the people of sport or economics but to the political elite of the world. After such a public spanking, the rest will begin to understand what to do and what not to do. US sees the world as their own fiefdom. If they say something, everyone should salute. In this way they are building their power structure globally. I can even call the specific recipient to whom this signal was sent in the first place - the leadership of Macedonia". Nikolai Starikov said that the first "call" was in the form of Albanian militants and the “Maidan” in the capital Skopje. The meaning of the signal was: the Russian gas pipeline "Turkish stream" should be rejected. "Macedonia, trying to save face, said it will participate in the project if the contract will be signed between Gazprom (the Russian natural gas company) and the European Commission. And it is still a big question if it will be signed at all. As soon as Macedonia had moved in an independent direction, its leadership received a little signal: "If you ever again dare to think for yourselves, remember what we did to Blatter. And you are just a prime minister of the little Macedonia". And then there are the presidents of Brazil, Argentina, Hungary, Serbia, Armenia, Azerbaijan... There are many recipients of such a signal but the goal of the US is one - to save their dominance." Are the Americans not acting too roughly and straightforwardly? "They may have gone too far, perhaps they are even ready to go over the top, but they must crush the resistance at all costs. As soon as things start to unravel, the system will collapse. It's like in the days of the Golden Horde. There are many vassals and if one of them rebels, and you do not crush him immediately, others will begin to rise too. Therefore the Americans are brutally punishing those who are trying to get out from under their control"- concluded Nikolai Starikov."

if this is the case why is there more discrimination to the southern border vs immigrants who flu to the US? or immigrants from the northern border? why do they get a free pass to stay and establish citizenship? and not get deported?
Shams Khan hi buddy how are you? May I know why you didn't take the test? Also may I know how lived for that long time in the USA? Thank you. God bless you.
Great video. Thanks USA.gov. Unfortunately, some Americans are still confused on what legal immigrants are entitled to. Mr. Ron Collins believes his Mexican legals (I presume) have free health care, money, food, and full tuition. I think he meant wide open borders, but any whew, thanks again USA.gov for this informative video.

To be honest, I want to become a US citizen. I believe I can make a better start at Los Angeles, have freedom of speech, less judgements, less danger, less drama(!) would be very useful for my acting career comparing to Turkey. And I am a grateful person to the country I live in or the country I will live in. But I have serious concerns about Trump’s threatening US democracy... What if I spend a huge ammont of money and time to become a citizen, then Trump’s antidemocratic and racist ideology effects me even worst. Why would a person choose to become another countrys citizen anyways? For a better democratic right, a better life, freedom, civilization, culture that feels close to you, friendly people, professional colleagues... I don’t know. I am all messed up... Hard to become one, hard to be appriciated, easy to be bullied.... Why can’t I become just a California citizen?😄

Ok but what if I want to join us army, i have to be a US citizen to do so but if I go in America at 18 years old and then I have to wait 5 years until I'm a US citizen then I will be able to join the army only at 23?
I'm from the Southern East of Asia and I'm just waiting to get married this year or maybe 3 years. (can't wait)
Dear USAgov/archive, I am considering revoking my United States Citizenship. Do you have any videos on this topic?
As a Mexican I can say the Mexican dream is living in the glorious USA
I don't quite understand this still.... I have a friend that lives in Germany who has never been to the U.S before. She's 18 but pretty much can somebody dumb it down for me and is she able to live in the US as she's trying to become a citizen?
ALW4YS 2 CL0WN!N she can live in the country however to become a citizen she must not have left the country for about 4-5 years i believe and then take the exam. Do check on the time of staying though i could be wrong.
@@retroprogrammes8462 cool thanks
My dad moved from Somalia to the US and went to university there and after that he moved to Finland where I was born. Am I able to get US citizenship?
RP qadaaSs was he US citizen before he moved out of U-S ? If it’s yes then you’re already US citizen
But how does one even live there for more than 5 years legally to begin with?
Is this video in public domain?
Appears to be, look at the licensing.
Half of the IOs in Los Angeles field office doesn't have received pronunciation to their english.
Can I learn for bachelor's degree while I'm permanent resident.
I am ready!
All of these Americans pissing and whining about how America is so “bad”. Show some patriotism. People don’t realize how bad some people want to live here and some whiny Americans come by and say how terrible it is. America is one of the greatest nations in the world so act like it and show some pride for your country!
Thanks from Egypt
How do you spend 5 years there do you just apply and then gi and spend that time pass al test and ur citizen right ...? But how are you allowed to be there for 5 years ... i mean can you find a job .... i mean you will have to support yourself
Bane Vlahović that's the question I too ask. How do people stay there for five odd years. Possibly six. They should be working. But how can one work without getting citizenship? Baffles my mind. Im going to ask it on Quora.
Nikhil Sukumar did you guys find a answer?
Crypto Yankee not yet will ask today.
Excellent Excellent Excellent
2:10 Just putting in the application, you are REQUIRED to stay in America... Don't give me your pity party. This can be applied to current citizens too. Just because your life sucks, doesn't mean you get free shit.
America asks for 1 thing:
Come. Here. Legally.
Coming here illegally hurts you more than helps. Coming here illegally:
You can't get an education
You MAY get a job that pays $6 an hour
You have to live in hiding if fear of deportation
Depending on your situation, your life in America may be worse than wherever you came from.
Come here legally:
You CAN get an education
You CAN get a job that pays damn good
You DON'T have to worry about deportation
You can begin building your life in America for you and your children!
How do u have permanent residence in USA without being a citizen??

Anyone else here to persue a better acting carrer after graduating
But what if you are bad at remembering and you forgot some of the stuff???

lol
Bruuuh good luck buddy
Trump just made more jobs as hes promised i would love to go and live there ...
@Aisha How so?
Dr. Devastator yeah, negligence causing 100+k deaths is keeping america great... fucking moron
@Aisha Trump is the best thing that could've happened to the US
But how is it possible to live 5 years there without the citizen ship ?
amen and amen in Jesus name
It took me about 6 years and $7000, but it's well worth it. If you plan to live and make a new life in another country, then why not aspire for full citizenship. It.shows loyalty and commitment to your new country and you never have to apply for a green card (with all associated restrictions) again and you can get better work, and. fully participate in and embrace the American way of life. Good luck to all that aspire to US citizenship or permanent residence. It's an honour and privilege for me as British and now American citizen.
I wish i could become US citizen, really love it... My dream is to live in Texas.
Why texas?
Us is my whole life, except 1 year at Thailand and 10 years in the US.
Does this work if you live in the US for at least 5 years if you study in the US with a visa ?
Yeah i think then you can begin to apply for citizenship as you have lived there fot 5 years with a visa
Damn that’s a lot of requirements
Can anyone tell me..which country is good to live..usa,england or australia...i need comment pls..
England is best
USA is best
Yugen Dran I guess all those countries are good. There may be other smaller nations too. Do your research properly. Some smaller nations like Japan can be too good too.
If you want free health care I'd say Australia.

Why the United States removed Blatter
One of the important events of the outgoing week was the resignation of the head of FIFA Joseph Blatter.
In an interview for Pravda.ru (in Russian) I told why Washington attacked FIFA:
As soon as the controversy concerning the performance of our hockey team at the World Cup subsided, a new topic came up, the scandal in FIFA. What is this all about - fight against corruption or politics?
“I think the silver medal at the World Championship is an achievement and we must learn to support our players, not just in moments of triumph. We should thank them for the silver and hope for gold next year in Moscow. I think this is the right attitude.” (...)
The author said that the FIFA scandal it is not at all about football.
There are many recipients of such a signal but the goal of the US is one - to save their dominance."
Are the Americans not acting too roughly and straightforwardly?
"They may have gone too far, perhaps they are even ready to go over the top, but they must crush the resistance at all costs. As soon as things start to unravel, the system will collapse. It's like in the days of the Golden Horde. There are many vassals and if one of them rebels, and you do not crush him immediately, others will begin to rise too. Therefore the Americans are brutally punishing those who are trying to get out from under their control"- concluded Nikolai Starikov."

if this is the case why is there more discrimination to the southern border vs immigrants who flu to the US? or immigrants from the northern border?
why do they get a free pass to stay and establish citizenship? and not get deported?
am I a us citizen?
I have a social security
Us passport
Born in Alabama but parents are immigrant
Have a baptismal certificate
we spend 13 year but we didn't take the nationality why
Shams Khan hi buddy how are you? May I know why you didn't take the test? Also may I know how lived for that long time in the USA? Thank you. God bless you.
Great video. Thanks USA.gov. Unfortunately, some Americans are still confused on what legal immigrants are entitled to. Mr. Ron Collins believes his Mexican legals (I presume) have free health care, money, food, and full tuition. I think he meant wide open borders, but any whew, thanks again USA.gov for this informative video.
robertinrinrin Hey man I don't quite understand the video I have a friend that lives in Germany who has never been to the U.S before. She's 18 but pretty much can you dumb it down for me what does she need to do to become a U.S. citizen and is she able to live in the US as she's trying to become a citizen?
Lil Mayo she would have to get married to a us citizen
I’m already a us citizen l
Just wanna know the benefits to it
I love USA so much I SWEAR but I couldn't get a visa to visit my mostly beloved country
I hope to become an American citizen one day, right now I’m British.
What if I'm a US national?
I want to become US citizen too. That's why I'm here.
I'm Maltese and my dream is to join the US Marines, but I can't cuz I need a green card 😭 5 years is a bit too much. (I'm 15 y/o) it'll be too late to join the Marines if I'm 23. I'll feel old if I join 😢💔
Hey i am Turkish and i have Greencard, if your mother or father is goverment official. You can get one though
and where is the app for applying this !!!!!
I am from Mongolia, I want to become US citizen and i want to study there?
best way is study hard there and prove them you deserve to get a scholarship on America.
im from iraq _ kurdistan can i become usa nationality?
Can you join the NYPD with only a permanent green card?
Aye I'm 16 years old I live in the United Arab Emirates but I want to move to the United States of America because I believe in free speech. I also wish to join the U.S. army once I'm 18. What's the best way to migrate to the United States of America?
Is there a requirement of being a U.S. soldier that you need to live there first for a year or more?
I’m worried about the over population situation of U.S. now will gives me some trouble in the future.
Can I become a citizen despite not having any special skills? Because that’s what’ve read online, and how much is a basic understanding of the history of the US? I will oath with no problem, the US constitution is the main reason why I want to move there haha.
Good pool
