2:48 Jayce didn't get those people on the bridge killed that was all Marcus. No one in Piltover could've foreseen their chief of officers being in the pocket of the man they want to take down. Piltover is the reason all of this is happening in the first place.

Yes the creators of this show are SO passionate for Arcane and League of Legends. It’s why I appreciate it even more. Arcane will change the industry, this is what we needed

That scene with viktor is by far my favourite piece of television ever made!
him dropping the cane, taking his first unassisted steps ever, running for the first time and outrunning the steamboat in the back when his child self couldn't even outrun a toy. How could you ver be mad at him for using shimmer? enahncing himself with this experimental stuff, when the results are everything he ever wanted. But then he goes further and Sky comes along, and becomes a casuality...

There's a making of documentary for Arcane, in five parts, that you could react to after this :) Thanks for the vid!

That documentary is amazing. I'm not a fan of documentaries in general, but at the end of "making of Arcane"I was almost crying with the creators of this show. They managed to transfer so much emotions through the documentary format. And it was interesting to see what challenges and struggles they overcame to create this masterpiece.

Arcane is an example if not the but definitely among the best to showcase how quality looks like. When they created the parts of the show - no matter wich part, story, characters, art, technical stuff, cinematogrephy, music and so on - the responsible people made sure it is outstanding. Even characters like Marcus, who gets the short end of the stick from most people for what he is doing, is so well written. The hot head when he was young with only disdain for the under city. Who rushed into it with hate and lost his mentor because of it, later trying to do the same as Grayson, by collaborating with the under city, but neither was he like his old mentor nor was Silco like Vander - it had to fail. This guy was not evil I think he was not even corrupt, he was just too weak to handle it and his counterpart was not a decent guy as well. That's why when his daughter was threatened he again was too weak and could not find a good solution for it. If Grayson would have survived he could have turned out alright or if Vander would have been his counterpart, he could have had time to evolve.

Arcane is so under appreciated in mainstream and pop culture. Especially considering how much garbage is out there. Arcane is a masterpiece. What until the finale ❤

What? How is Arcane underrated? Great ratings, excellent reviews and overall score, critical acclaim, huge amount of views, many awards, second season is one of the most anticipated things, сonsidered by most as masterpiece. I wonder how any show potentially can be more appreciated.

@@3twelve206 I genuinely think Riot made a mistake by releasing season 1 so early. If they'd waited until S2 could be ready for release the year after S1, I think it could have used the word of mouth hype from S1 to break out into mainstream success (assuming S2 holds up of course). Unfortunately by the time S2 releases at the end of 24, pretty much all the hype from S1 will be long gone among the general audience that was just starting to really talk about Arcane outside of animation circles when S1 landed. Even if it surpasses S1 in quality, I don't know if the show can manage to become a real crossover hit the way other animated shows like Invincible have with so much time between releases.

You do understand that people will say that about any show they like, right? Even if the show is top 1 audience everywhere. When you use underrated like that, you just defeat the purppose of the word, just like people that use "literally" for everything but literal stuff.

    • @IAmHavok
      @IAmHavok 2 місяці тому

@@troikas3353they waited because they weren't sure it would be a hit which honestly makes sense. They put a quarter of a billion dollars into these two seasons so waiting to see if the second season even gets approved is the right move. The creator said they initially only thought of two seasons just to be safe in the first place. Now that they have pretty much the world in their hands maybe they will shorten that window between seasons.

One of the best thing in this show is that they mix the best fighting scenes ever with a hight morale standard... No fight ever end well, ans everything have consequences.

"Then a real monster showed up, and I just ran away". I don't think the monster she's referring to is Deckard, or Silco. The monster is her own anger. That's what made her leave Powder for a moment, and it's been weighing on her for years.
.. and then, the most jarring transition in the show, from the tenderest touch to the most grotesque anguish of Jinx.
    Heart wrenching.

A small crazy Easter egg. The monsters that Vi is describing on the bed to Caitlyn, can be seen painted on the walls in episode 6 when Vi and Caitlyn are talking about how she lived in the Undercity.

Notice how Vi totally manipulated Jayce? She name dropped Caitlyn to get him to follow her plan, despite the fact that Cait was clearly disgusted with Jayce wanting a fight...

I feel like ever since arcane came out with the 9 episode format that still managed to fit so much in a way where every scene mattered. Other series coming out are trying to follow that same format. Such last of us live action and the upcoming Avatar last Airbender live action

I really hope you both pay attention to the last song's lyrics ("What Could Have Been" by Sting and Ray Chen). If you do, the visuals hit even harder in the feels.
I probably heard it a couple hundred times in the last years and it still gets me every time.
