Good stuff. I thought it was just me
Thinking this way. It’s a good reminder that it’s just anxiety getting into every nook and cranny of our thinking process. I guess Being afraid of emotions is no less irrational then being afraid of ____ (fill in the black ) .

I hate it when I am told to just BE POSITIVE like its a choice. Coming from someone in a good place at the time. Clueless. But I did experience Excitement , by seeing and meeting Caster Semenya, had me forgetting to be anxious, it over rode anxiety totally. Until the following day when it was all over. It just reinforced for me that anxiety IS just a FEELING.

Great insight! This is why EXPERIENCES are so much more valuable than just thinking about getting better. You would not have that point of view without having done that big thing. Go Jen! :-)

@@TheAnxiousTruth aftermath has me very tired for 3 days, another insight, dont overdo it, its a marathon(I should know I ran them,) and not a sprint. Learnt the hard way, this is the 2nd time I have flooded, it does not work for me, it takes too long to recover but I dont regret doing it, I just know now not to do 200% to dial it back and accumulate smaller achievements. I forgot myself in the moment and did not think of consequences at all.
