Your Tutorials are really the BEST Siavash!!!!! Do you have tutorials on Google Analytics GA4 ? 1 - how to do the setup from old version to new version? 2 - how to setup GA for Ecommerce, tracking sales, etc? 3 - Do you have a tutorial for a SEO Dashbord? I am musician and I going deeper into data to understand what people likes, wants, etc... Not easy, but I don"t give up 🙂 Thanks for your super videos 🙏
Glad you like the videos, Johann. I'm afraid I don't have the specific tutorials you have mentioned above. No. 3 would be included through examples and case studies in my new 2024 masterclass lookerstud.io/masterclass
Great information. One question, how do you reset the date slicer to show the dates with all the data? Auto? It doesn't work for me And a constructive critic, the sound is not the best, maybe a lavalier microphone would help
Firstly, noted on the sound quality! Will use a better setup the next time I run a live cohort! Secondly, for data sources like BigQuery, Google Sheets etc. if you do not apply a Date Range dimension to a chart, then it's detached from the date range selector and is not impacted by it, meaning that it should show all dates available in the underlying dataset (if data volume isn't too big!), but for something like UA or GA4, specially with the built-in Google conector, it's not possible because Looker Studio already knows what field is the date range and if you don't set a custom date range, the default one (last 28 days) will be applied to the API call and the chart. If you know how long your historical data goes back, you can set a dynamic date range like 2012-01-01 to Today, but whether the tool's API return all that data is another story! Depends on the selected dimensions too.
Great content Ahmad, only one complaint: the data you are using as an example, is not easily accessible + it is connected after the analytics account is set up which makes it hard to keep going with learning Looker watching your videos. Hope you give a set of data or something helpful in the notes section for your viewers to run the process parallel to you.
In GA4 you will need to create Conversion rate manually using a custom field. I don't seem to have conversion rate on my list? I'm using GA4, is there something I need to do to add this?
In GA4 you will need to create Conversion rate manually using a custom field.
