Yes I have had to about ten years now when my sister Maureen passed 2016 she did not have one I just came in to Boston anencephaly they told she was dying So I took mine of and put it on her because I knew her soul needed to be saved and I left with while she got CremeMated and I went and found. Store in the Suburbs and got me another one I have tried to tell my siblings how important it is but would not hear of it it bothers me but I can’t make them I do wish people knew what a blessing it is to have the Scapula I do Our Lady of the Scapula Pray For Us .

I know this is a yr ago but I to am becoming confused with all this catholic being the correct way kind of stuff. Where in scripture does it say call out to mary? Or that mary saves?
I have been wanting to get enrolled in the brown scapular for quite some time now. Well I just bought two of them yesterday from our local catholic shop. Tonight, after church, I’m going to ask the priest if he can bless them and enroll me. Please pray for me that this ritual is done properly. Oh how can anyone refuse a gift such as this! This is such an amazing feeling to inherit the blessings and the special protections from our Blessed Lady that come with this scapular enrollment!! Truly relearned about brown scapular.
I wear the brown one but I'm going to start wearing the red because to those that wear the red they will be gifted with extra grace of hope faith and charity every Friday.

Frank Lotion The thing here is, that in your eagerness to portray Jesus as dependent upon and obedient to His human and non-divine mother, you over-extol her and actually diminish the God Head. In every sense she truly was His physical mother, but she is not His divine mother, because God’s divinity is His alone and Jesus is far above all things in the Heavens and the earth. God became flesh but His Divinity does not require a mother.

Frank Lotion Just answer me one question if you can. Does Mary possess the attributes of God Himself - as in being all present, all knowing and all powerful? A simple ‘yes’ or ‘no’ would suffice. Thank you.

She requested us to recite Her Rosary when she appeared at Fatima..so I will..you should too..15mins a day to Honor Jesus' Blessed Mother is nothing in the scope of eternity.Again..May God Bless You 😇

Where in the bible does it say do this. Book chapter and verse in the bible?
Show me in the bible, chapter and verse, where it lists what should be in the bible?? It was the Catholic Church, using it's Authority and Apostolic mandate from Jesus Himself, that you have the bible and the reason it is considered infallible and inspired. If you deny this then you have to deny the bible; it is as simple as that.
The Church uses this very same Authority to validate mystical experiences and visions such as the Brown Scapular. Heaven has seen it fit to validate this devotion with miracles and much good fruit.
So explain to me how you can trust the novel you call the bible is actually inspired and infallible apart from the Authority and mission of the Catholic Church and perhaps I might listen to your argument.

@@barrymcgrath4303. The staff with the snake on it has nothing to do with the scapular. God had the Jews who were bitten by a snake to look upon Jesus for healing & salvation. Mary is neither co redemtrix nor co equal with God. Mary has no power nor does anyone else to heal & save us. Totally non scriptural. Our only mediator is Jesus. I have numerous bibles even a catholic bible which was the first bible I started reading since I was catholic at that tome.

Have you read the story of the Saints? Have you read about the apparition of Our Blessed Mother, The Virgin Mary? Do you think all those people are plotting against your salvation. If you do not believe Me, Believe in the Things that I do; Jesus did say that. Read the Bible and do your own research asking God to show you the Truth. You don't Want to insult our heavenly Mother.

No scripture is written by men but it's inspired by God. When you understand that the bible came from the church you know that it has to be interpreted by that church in light of tradition otherwise you wind up with almost 40 thousand different churches all in disagreement
