People don't understand And1 era basketball. Was legendary thanks Professor for the memories
I have AND1 game from Playstation 2, thats how i met AND1.
Actually pre Professor And1 was really where it was at. I was hooping in high school when And 1 Mixtape Vol 1 dropped and everyone was hyped. This was pre youtube and pre internet so people didnt know about these moves unless you were really out there playing street ball.
Who doesn’t understand?
@@destinationlimbo378 some folks didn't expect him on the show given he didn't play in ncaa or nba
Around 20 yrs ago, small city in Eastern Europe: imagine the surprised look on a face of a young teenager fascinated with basketball who accidentally found a black unsigned plate in the CD drive of a PC while surfing the webs on an hourly base in an Internet-Cafe. Low res mixtapes of local streetball squads (Kaliski, Goleniowski) as well as short individual clips of forgotten hoopers. But, most importantly, first And1 Mixtapes with the impeccable soundtracks imprinted in my brain to this day. Shout-out to the old times, when we hooped till the sun went down and dribbled the ball all the way back home! Much love from Europe.
Love this shit. Love how KG has validated(true hoopers already knew) just how cold the professor is. So much respect for these two legends. KG just put a stamp on the God Father of streetball. Love you Big Ticket
STAMPED 💯
Not throwing shade at the man cause he got game. But there was a dozen more And 1 players who had way more game.
@Iliketurtles.....no doubt could not agree more many of the OG AND 1 players much better than Professor..... hands down though most popular was Professor and Professor only one still repping and hell if KG calls him that who am I to argue
Ay all jokes aside that boy prof was the truth. Imagine if he would have got his shot in the league.
@@WestRainJay Rafer was 10x the player proffesor was and he was a role player. He's an entertaining hooper but no where near talented enough to be in the league.
Professor did not want this to end.
Interview was so tough glad to see legends giving him respect
"Bro I'm so humbled! That's crazy!" You can tell how honored he was to get that compliment from the legend KG. How can you not love Professor.
All these collabs with KG and Professor together gonna be EPIC!
Did not want this to end. Love Professors top 5 and they winning that 20 mill
The Professor made "And 1" relevant to the masses. Because he is not black, not tall and not muscley.
at what time did he start talking about top 5?
KG has come on so much over the years. I met him in London on the And1 Tour must have been 1999 or 2000. He stayed and spoke to everyone there, he signed everything and didnt leave until the job was done. We were one of the last people to speak to him and he was still 100% committed. He asked how I was and what I was doing in London. He came across that he wanted to be there. Watching him over the years he has such a bright future ahead of him.
Awesome story to hear, go kg
🙏🏾
This what's is all about. Seeing legends and true lovers in the game in one room!classic
True lovers pause
KG IS FINALLY BACK! 🎟️
Unbelievable vision by KG and his team to put the Professor on such a big stage!
👊👍
Big stage? Professor has 7.6 mil followers on UA-cam and showtime basketball has 750K followers. I came to showtime to watch the professor not the other way around.
You got it backwards. But yeah good look out by KG.
I bet it was an NBA deal to have them together
KG deserves all the respect in the world for his interviewing skills. You can tell he really wants to know the answers. Love his intensity.
Broke his ankles and dislocated the shoulder damm 😂🎉
professor a legend
Both these guys are great. KG is a really funny, entertaining guy. I hope he one day joins the TBT crew.
Glad I got to live thru the And1 era 🤟🏼💯 A.O. Main Event The Professor Bone Collector and Escalade were my favorites
bone collector was after but he nice too. alimoe, 50, the pharmacist, hot sauce etc.. legendary crew
Was special getting the latest And1 VHS tape and watching with your friends 👍
Alimoe (R.I.P.) & A.O. Was the coldest ones on the court every time they laced em up.
I agree I'm so glad I got to live through it, watching it late night on ESPN2. Skip was always my favorite, that whole time was special and everyone was at the ballfield trying to do the moves we saw. And1 was the shit.
Hot Sauce was cold ❄ with the dribbles and shake and bake moves.
AMAZING episode!! Not only you had one of my top 2 favorite NBA players all time (1a. KG, 1b AI) along with Professor who I not only love, but absolutely love the And1 era (own all mixtapes) and love everything Professor has accomplished! So so good…didn’t want episode to end.
I love KG. His passion and competitiveness is 100%. Miss that type of passion. Much love
The basketball Eminem !
KG is the guy that you want to hang out on daily basis! Such humbled, chill and humorous dude!
Professor never ceases to amaze me with his interviews. He tells great stories. Never spirals out of the direction. Well spoken every time!
Damn we old the professor always had that baby face now he's looking matured. Man them And 1 days was crazy!!!
My boy over there wearing shaqs jacket!!!!
This is crazy validation for The Professor. Mega props to KG.
KG one of the greatest and the professor one of the guys that brought a lot of people into the basketball world and entertained a lot of us. You know the professor is real when KG gives you those props.
KG is all about real talk. Great interview on both sides. I had no clue how deep KG was in tune with all the different types of sports.
KG is a class act. Wish he could have won one for the Timber puppies but glad he got his championship either way!
He was a hell of a player but he sounds illiterate lol
He still might get his chance. If Glen Taylor gets out of ownership as soon as possible, maybe he'll make his return in some form... at least for the love of GOD to get his jersey retired. The best player that franchise has ever seen and Boston beat them to it....
Illiterate but reading a teleprompter???
Great episode, love KG’s energy and enthusiasm for what The Professor has done and is still doing!
I would love to see Professor in the BIG3
KG knowledge and appreciation of streetball is respectful. Thank you
Love KG for this man . Growing up watching and 1 and even going to the tryouts to see my fav street ballers will always be special memories forever in my life. KG the realest
KG is so good at these style interviews because he is a fan of a bunch of different sports so he can make conversations flow around to different references and relationships to other cultures and sports. It is super interesting. I would have never thought he was such a big soccer or tennis fan but Im glad that he is. Gives a ton of perspective on the freestyle movements around the world.
This is fire to have the professor on
Epic seeing KG & Professor. KG is a straight up LEGEND. KG & Professor get Rafer Alston on an interview too!
This guy journey always inspires me. So many jems in the interview from mindset to dedication to having faith and always being humble. I'm so glad I grew up on KG and Professor wow wow wow
Shout out to the Big Ticket for cricket! Basketball and cricket player here.
Great interview. Thanks for bringing This street all legend on the show. Love the back stories.
I love KG..he is the realest dude in basketball.. bro definitely stay true to his roots
You da man Big Ticket. Way to let them non-believers know cuz if you did not know now you know.... Professor is legit
"Big ticket" ha i ain't heard that name in a long azz time lol
Loved this video from beginning to end!!!! Both true legends and entertaining as hell!!!! 💪💪👏👏
KG’s energy is just fire reminds me a lot of my self 🎞️💥🤯 healthy convo had to rewind so many parts .. these guys in my generation heavy 🥇🥇🥇
Best KG certified to date!

Mad humbled & stoked 2 experience both of you.
Pls stay at it, keep on gettin it. Always looked up to both of you. Being 39 years old you guys still inspire me 2 keep on hoopin and improve not only my game but also my life itself. Mad love 4 you guys. Peace
Shit man KG getting good at interviewing. Thoughtful questions, letting the guest speak, digging deeper on stories ... impressed. Love you Ticket!
Great video. KG is great at interviews.
KG got me amped! Love these guys
Two super-cool Bros who just love basketball. A pleasure to watch them talk hoops, especially the history of Street Ball.
Love to see a new KG video!!!!
Now That, was a great great interview. Hearing KG 🙏🏾 interviewing the Professor🙏🏾, talking about his life and how it all came to be...,man, you guys made me smile man. Love and ✌🏾 to all of you.
KG stay showing love. Pivot podcast and KG certified favorites
Salute, KG! You hit em rite in the sternum with this one! Religiously watch your podcast- also religiously watched And1! Everyday 7:00am to 8:00am on ESPN then Sportscenter, around 2003-2004 . Great work! Thank you.
Lesssgo Gray! This is big time! 🔥🔥
Love the chemistry KG n Professor have💯 u can tell they actually rock with each other off the court too
Two awesome guys - professor says “anything is posssssible!!!
@professorlive @bigticket these dudes are some of my favorite hoopers of all time! Can't wait to see more content!
Kevin Garnett looks like he can a double double for a team right now, a productive 12-15 minutes.
I love this content. I also love KGs stories and interview style!
It’s crazy to see really how much bigger and taller nba players are then the professor.. and he is listed at 5’10.. which is around average height..
Kevin Garnett is 7ft so he’s a foot taller
@@hamzaahmed3066 you right … I bet even the “ smallest players “ are a lot bigger .. they just look small compared too other nba players lol -- I think d miles said this on all the smoke.. Steph curry episode
you also got guys like Allen Iverson, Nate Robinson, Steve Nash..etc
@@chibill467don't forget the shortest NBA player EVER with the heart of a Lion and the "never say Can't" attitude -- the legendary Tyrone "Muggsy" Bogues proved that even a 5"3" dude could ball professionally!
This was a great interview man
Gotta respect the Professor for his drive and hustle. Going from a global platform to broke, that's gotta be tough on the soul. And now look at him!
KG is so good at this. Showtime I hope y’all truly understand the gem y’all have!
Omg 😱this was a good interview love it
So humble great interview KG 💪🏾
one-on-one's in the all-star game would be electric. Also respect to KG for shouting out Wilt and Russell. Wilt was a world class athlete. Fast as hell, could high jump 6'6", strong as hell, and could ball. He could play and dominate in any era
Russell was ranked #7 in the world in high jump
Such a dope episode. KG & Prof. keep going.
Ooo baby professor 🎉
Put the women and children to bed!
Facts! It’s almost impossible to find a run outdoors anymore
Great Convo fellaa...Da Professor...let's go....
Jamal Crawford killer handles
I love how professor talks about and 1 like a kid. Love
Two legends !
We need more of this was crazy
Mad respect for the Professor and wearing Celtics green with Ticket for a great interview. Looking forward to watching that 20 million event
🔥🔥🔥🔥
This was wholesome!
Everyone remembers that Iverson crossover commercial
Street legend I remember when he was just trying out for and 1 and look at him proud of all that he has accomplished
I would have never guessed KG would be so good as a host and podcast/interviewer but he really is one of the best.
Thank you, KG, for putting on this episode! Big Celtics fan here (Boston born and raised)! I must not have believed you, because I didn't even know that this episode was possible! lol
I love this show, and this one was a highlight, for sure.
@Professor Live
First off, big fan! I watch you on my main youtube account a lot (this is my workplace youtube account).
I gotta ask... 'cause I just spent a few minutes trying to search the right keywords to find it.... Yo, where'd you get that jacket, my dude?
I love that thing!
The professor is him in the and1 world. My first impression when I saw him walk on the court was his handles gotta be crazy and he didn't disappoint at all. He was so little that I new offense is what got him a shot. I been loving his game every since. He a 🐐 now.
Maaaaan, saw the Professor on the ANd1 Australian tour, TWICE
Professor did not miss a shot in 2 games, 100% from the field plus of course the highlights we al love
KG showing love - makes me happy
Professor is goated, handles for days
Professor the Godson of Streetball. Duke Tango said so! 😅 Love the And1 days when Duke called Professor his godson. Now Professor the only one leading the way on a large scale from all them players back in the day. Proud of The Professor as the day is long. Walking in purpose, doing big things, giving thanks to God along the way. That's my dude.
1:22:07 HILARIOUS 🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂 KG IS THE BEST STORY TELLER IN THE NBA FACTO
Yeah him and Iman Shumperts stories be hilarious and detailed too.
KG is an uncut gem!😁🙏☦️😉
I watched and1 before I ever watched nba and fell in love with the game because of and1. Streetball is what lead me to playing basketball. And that's all the way over in New Zealand. Thankyou And1.
That haircut though lol. I really like the professor, and KG is always great
The CHAMP is back!
Dope interview
And 1 was the truth NBA Street volume one is my favorite basketball game of all time. They need to bring that joint back! This is great content👌
And1 was the reason I got into basketball in the first place and why I'm such a big fan of the NBA and basketball today. As a kid it was so exciting seeing guys like the Professor and Hot Sauce do their thing
Imagine a KG+Snoop 1st round playoff commentary back and forth 😂
I literally watch AND1 episodes to sleep every night 😂 It just reminds me of such a good time. I was a kid when I saw them hit the scene blazing. Couldn’t wait to see them on ESPN. With their own show. They took over the basketball world so much. Was in competition with the NBA. Had Nike so scared that they took their style for that memorable dribble commercial. Sold out arenas and all. They were once rockstars. And forever legends.
🏀💯
Great interview KG!
6:15 that was the first thing that came to mind when KG said he was gonna go to The Professor’s spot instead LOL. if i had the money, i’d do the exact same thing too. its a really cool and fun idea.
Kg give & does the best interviews
2 legends
together.
Props to KG for bringing light to the AND1 movement 💯
Bring streetball back like it is 2004. And I want my knees back too.
KG has HOF interview skills too!! I see you!!.... and he's
the plug! #Salute
I have always loved the professor man. I’ve hopped my whole life but I’ve wanted to do it the “right” way. Like I knew I would never make the nba tho cuz my size but I’ve always tried my hardest and loved hoop. Professor is like living out all the hoopers who never made it dream
Why did this remind me of the Chappelle's Show Real World episode when KG walked in hahah
