- I don't think I've ever seen a horde test or pounce that is this absolutely broken. I'm sorry guys, but raptor is quite literally unplayable. I'd love to test out grapple, but between the cannibals, the lag, and pounce literally breaking upon use.... well I'd just rather play anything else right now. I'm desperate for a fix, but considering the lag is this bad outside of the hotspots... there's something seriously busted.
server lag + broken mechanics= chaos
It's so ridiculous that it has been allowed to get this bad
@dinometta Right, I fatal errored so many times today in NA 1- NA 3, and all of those times have gotten me killed due to lag!
Servers on HT are garbage this HT.

It'll get there, I have faith. I just think the AI birds never despawning+South being a slaughter house+corpses staying in game too long+increased player slots has tanked performance across the board

Yikes!.. from the fatal errors, audio bugs, and horrid lag at spots. Hope it can be fixed soon.

I havent seen this game this broken in a long long time, its almost like everyone has a portal gun and are just teleporting everywhere at all times lol.

On a side note though, Mombie made a video going over this whole grapple thing, and I agree with him a lot on the subject, Ill be posting it in the discord soon if I’m on so if you’re interested come check it out.

@@dinometta oh yeah lol hordetesting seems painful right now, sorry I meant as in Mombie went over his thoughts on how everything is going with grapple, not necessarily gameplay of it if that makes sense. I'll be sure to post it in the discord lol.

For serious though. I mean I know the lag is bad in South, but alone in West rail Forest with only one other player around?
i also played this morning to try dibble and i died by 2 uthas i didnt do enithing because they kepst teleporting(lag) i gave up and now im playing herrera :V

You know, i was gon say you got the wrong game on, but while the performance is like this on HT , i think "Green Hell" seems rather fitting XD
We went back to live for now, waiting for a patch cuz performance/ping is rlly bad atm.

Careful that's sounds like an invitation to be told how perfect a system this is and how you just can't see the devs magical plan. Also that this was clearly a brand new system they have been working on for 2 years but it's a beta so how dare you try and do maths to make this work.
I can't even test the danged system at this rate. I'd love to try out grapple and see if it's actually as OP as people say it is. But considering this is my entire raptor experience on the horde test... well I'll just wait until they've ironed out at least some of the kinks.

Welcome to the horde test. Even on the best possible server for me, I average 80+ ping this test

Ah yes, that's just Omni's new drone he shoots out of his back. He struggles a bit with the controls though, claws and all

Idk how you guys experience this. I don't ever see a problem when I do it and others as well. Maybe your connection sucks. So less on the game more of get better internet connection or stop playing on servers that's super far from you. Like if you're in EU server when you're in America

Unless you are on a hill and can't control your character properly and trying to fix it by pouncing sends you flying to your death
I would make a joke about the code but this is just server performance genuinely hitting the shitter harder than I’ve ever seen it hit before.

@@dinometta it’s a good thing this is happening on the big testing branch, server performance is certainly of one of the big topics they’re looking at during their horde testing seasons.

Yup, this is just the state of the test right now. Doesn't matter where you are, which server, what you're playing as. The lag is impossibly intense with no end in sight

There's no anger, simply bafflement. It is incredibly hard to test anything if the servers behave this way. The isle is my favorite game and has been for the better part of a decade. I participate in horde tests to test balance, report bugs, and give feedback for the game I love. The raw footage of this clip was sent in as a bug report, I'd love to test grapple so I can give proper feedback on it, but unfortunately this has been the result of my experience trying to play raptor so far.
I will continue to participate in the testing phase and I will continue giving feedback because I believe in this game and the developers.
But I will also post videos like this one because it's /funny/ in a painful way.
