I usually discard the trap that let's you select 1 fusion and destroy monsters with higher or equal attack to it to use Albaz's effect to fusion, use something from their board and set that trap cause if you discard it using his effect you can set it so you can end up with a destroy/fusion in a nice comfortable spot without using any hand traps
This deck really is insane. I was using a version of this against a friend...he had 4 3K beaters on the field, just cleared them easily. And in the next one, I got 3 branded fusion in my hand from only card effects. PLUS with ghost from the past S2 comming up......despia's!

Finally! Been waiting for Sam to drop a $30 budget of the deck. I notice that you didn’t add 1 copy of Artifact Scythe to send to the graveyard with Branded Fusion and then play Back to the Front on your opponent’s turn to lock them out of their Extra deck. Lucky I got my 3 at my Walmart as soon as they got them. They were all gone by the next day. Great deck build Sam! Love this deck! I miss Cimooooo reviewing and $30 deck building. Also I noticed this Deck doesn’t come with a QR code and advertising booster set QR code. I saw some ones deck opening and he had one in his.
This is an awesome build and I actually have built it. I've traded out my 3 keeper of dragon magic for aluber and added united we stand to make it a 42 card deck. Debating on weather or not I should add guardian Chimera but anyway I would love to see more combos big or small that I can utilize with this build. This is perfect. I just bought 3 a last week. I just wish you went over the card to search for to add to improve it at the end. I have some cards like Despia, Theater of the Branded, Branded loss, Branded banishment, Starving venom, Number 97, a bunch of staples(MST, Last will, Backup team...) and a couple link monsters.
I really love this deck! I personally use it now, since it's just a really fun deck to use! The only thing I added was an Artifact Scythe and a Back to the Front for another play in locking the opponent out of there extra deck, making it a 43 card deck for me.

My Strategy is to Use Keeper of the Dragon Magic and Kit to search Branded Fusion 2x 1 from the deck and 1 from the graveyard then I fusion Summon The searing Dragon, then The Ash Dragon, Then I get out my Branded Dragon then Mirror Jade
Amazing video as always! I purchased this deck and to make it better I added the invoked package, in order to play it a bit more control oriented, due to the powerful traps like tcboo and dimensional barrier
I like to play 3x Branded Lost to protect my plays against Ash Blossom as often as possible, plus it gives me a search. Im running 3x Albion the Shrouded which I either use as an Upstart Goblin to get an extra card, as an extender/extra beater (I play a going second variant) or I use in conjunction with Branded Retribution (which I play 3 of and is my go to discard) to recover/search Branded Spells from the Deck/GY. I have also replaced the handtraps with 6 Kaijus and I play 3x Dark Ruler

Is he getting back into it competitively or just to mess around with friends? If it's just with friends, yeah this 3 SD build is fine. If he's trying to compete in stuff like locals, he's going to get stomped without extra support. I recommend Shaddolls for budget. They're really cheap and make this build a lot stronger.

@@R4yymo As long as you bought 3 of the Albaz SD's already, you can grab a nice Shaddoll package for around that much. Your most expensive cards will be Shaddoll Fusion and Winda, but otherwise they're cheap. They work amazing with Albaz because of the heavy fusion reliance. So definitely start there. Once you get a bit more cash, add in Invoked and Dogmatika. Sadly Aleister's are 9ish a piece as are Ecclesia's, but once you get enough, the branded/invoked/dogmatika/shaddoll deck is actually insanely good. I crap on the Despia decks which are much more expensive every time.
I'm actually trying o get back into the competitive of the tcg and i want to build a new deck (since my old ones aren't that reliable anymore sadly). Prank Kids, Tri Brigade, Shaddoll are some good options...most of it is played with brave token and Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer.. I kinda like Adamancipator, id reliable, cheap and fun to play
@@timeuskirchen1228 Well brave and dpe are the issue as they REALLY break the bank and are kinda mandatory. Adamancipator is nice but the hits kinda pushed it out of upper meta contention
@@619ver1 without saying that maybe on the next ban list we can see bans on those cards (destiny fusion at 1, verte banned, adventurer token limited, dark magician engine maybe at 2 or 1) If you're not into hardcore competitive (for now) and you just want to have fun with physical TCG, just go to casuals, it's usually way cheaper and also enjoyable to play due to the huge variety
@@mimireia_ I VERY much doubt either verte or Adventure will get any hits. Halq did not get banned, so neither will verte i think and adventure is to new so i doubt it will get a hit. So leaves fusion destiny which i they might ban, leading us back to either Red eyes dragoon or mirrorjade dragon. On the topic of that, if you want to get semi into competitive, grab 3 of the albaz strike structure. Its one of the strongest strucure deck in years, got great staples and otks like its nobodies business XD
I Play a pure albaz Deck, with a Bit of a tweek, i took Out the Dragon Keeper and Summoner monk for handtraps and some General good cards Like Superpoly and such. I know this is the Budget Version, but for fun little Games its so nice to Just crush your Enemie with massiv amounts of Fusion summons and negates.
got my 3 for 9€ a pop online. Its a great deck though. As crazy as monarch one back then? Maybe not but great in the shadoll one way as you get all the important core cards and great new support and can go from there.

I suggest playing 3 Branded Lost. if you’re searching Branded Fusion that much, it’s pretty much always good to have that extender in your hand as well
what are the overall thoughts on budget decks in the competitive scene? Could I feasibly go to a local and win against a top tier deck with a deck like this? why then dont more pros and higher level players play budget decks? is it a matter of consistency?
I'm not massive into the competitive scene but a budget deck usually doesn't have access to the same expensive staple cards as a competitive player. Also a lot of top decks are very expensive, and more "rouge" decks like these just don't have the same power levels. You could win a more relaxed, rouge locals but it would be difficult against a top tier deck.
Yeah you’ll do fine in locals but regionals and ycs irl be hard. However most of the staples that pros play can be used in multiple decks 70% of the time. So you can slowly upgrade this deck and have a great win rate
I want to purchase this in my town, but everywhere i checked, it's sold out. I'm not a fan of online shopping, kinda lost trust of online shops. But i might order just 1 online, just to at least have it.

I've got a mill challenge for you, Sam! Build a deck capable of milling itself out on the first turn! The only rule is that you can't search the deck to 0, the primary means of reducing the deck in your turn, is by milling.

I like the idea but can be to bricky, in most cases running a single of the dimension barrier is usually as effective and needs less cards.

Why no Artifact Scythe combo with Back to the Front? You can dump it with Branded Fusion and then summon it during your opponent's turn.

what are the overall thoughts on budget decks in the competitive scene? Could I feasibly go to a local and win against a top tier deck with a deck like this? why then dont more pros and higher level players play budget decks? is it a matter of consistency?
I'm not massive into the competitive scene but a budget deck usually doesn't have access to the same expensive staple cards as a competitive player. Also a lot of top decks are very expensive, and more "rouge" decks like these just don't have the same power levels. You could win a more relaxed, rouge locals but it would be difficult against a top tier deck.
Yeah you’ll do fine in locals but regionals and ycs irl be hard. However most of the staples that pros play can be used in multiple decks 70% of the time. So you can slowly upgrade this deck and have a great win rate
Interesting, definitely different from some other 30$ builds I’ve seen.
I want to purchase this in my town, but everywhere i checked, it's sold out. I'm not a fan of online shopping, kinda lost trust of online shops. But i might order just 1 online, just to at least have it.

I replaced extravagance with allure since I feel it’s a safer option if you don’t want to banish any valuable extra deck cards.

I honestly got them for the kaiju cards alone. But this is a pretty good budget build deck.

Its better than cyber deck in every way. Cyber deck needs a huge upgrade just to compete with other deck which can go for alot of money

I've got a mill challenge for you, Sam! Build a deck capable of milling itself out on the first turn! The only rule is that you can't search the deck to 0, the primary means of reducing the deck in your turn, is by milling.

Yeah personally I would drop 1 copie of Tri-Brigade Mercourier(I think he's fine at 2) in order to have 3 copies of The Fallen of Albaz.

Increase the odds of getting it (decreases your chances of bricking)
