Its been 36 years not 40 since 1988. There are no records of this actually happening. There are 3 other tiktok videos all showing different images of a class photo. Different images of this supposed 70 year old woman in the videos. So this Sophie Ryder also named as Sophie Reid in some of the videos would have had to be 34 at the time this happened. Seems a bit old to be in that class but I guess she could have been held back. It's obviously just an AI story.
This is an awesome story. I just really don't like the format, where it's pretending to be real. This would be so cool written out in first person, it would be much more engaging
Why did you call him “her boss” at 8:47? He’s not her boss. He’s actually not referred to as “boss” but rather chief. And if her clothes were disheveled where did she get adult clothes from? She left as a child, she didn’t have a suitcase full of clothes with her so she’s going to be in trouble with her wardrobe. Classes full of kids don’t just disappear. The story is imaginative and sincerely has potential but it really drags and is very, very repetitive, especially in the middle. Too many questions about the lost children are left unanswered for this short a story . It is like Cliff’s notes version of a short story, leaving out too many points. I’m wondering if the author’s first language is English. Not a bad thing but some of the wording is just a little odd and confusing. Odd that the request for likes is related to whether or not one is “in favor of peace between all people.” If the story was about a war or class struggle or racism, perhaps the “like request “ would make sense.

To whoever is narrating this story, it’s one thing to tell a story, but please do not insult the intelligence of your viewers by pitching something from the 1800s as 1988. Two of my children were born in the eighties, and my youngest was born in May of that same year. The style of dress is not the eighties, and the classroom is a joke. Enjoyable story but I think something is missing. She asks directions to a police station and one moment he’s the police chief and the next moment he’s her boss? It’s not just one mention, it’s consistent. Then he’s suddenly ”the boss”. It’s the same guy as occasionally he’s “the chief”. Whilst wondering about that it’s easy to drift away from the story.
Not being mean just constructive criticism I hope. Keeping track of characters and their relationships to each other is really important. How about using his name, Chief whoever? Sophie’s name is frequently used. It would great to introduce another main character by name perhaps and easier to keep track of relationships (stranger, her boss, back to stranger) by avoiding it completely. Just a thought.
