@@IcebergGaming265 ah cool, I’m not saying your wrong in any of your information so please don’t take it that way. @@Endeva09 garlic is a great choice for beginners and/or early game but the damage just does not stack up later in the game. I cover more of the evolutions in my other guides, this guide was more for people just getting started and struggling to even get to the point where they are trying to evolve things
Garlic is great especially for learning to play the game but it just doesn't scale as well as other abilities so it becomes less and less useful as you get better
@@IcebergGaming265 are power up buffs applied to my character without having the items? For example am I getting the bonus exp from growth when I first start the game? Or do I only get that bonus when I have the corresponding item? Thanks 😊
great guide! I'm surprised you didn't mention items that could be evolved very quickly, since hollow heart you can earn after only surviving a minute with a character, allows for upgrading the whip within a couple runs -- I guess that belongs in the advanced guide though.
@Pud Pete bro it takes quite some hours to get to a stage where you can even evolve them to begin with unless youre a minmaxer who already knows everything about the game. It definitely belongs in the advanced guide.
Thanks for the guides:) I just got this and I am messing around with it. But... "beating the game"? I might have played myself, I thought this was an infinite-progress type of game:(
At this point you can only survive for 30 mins per run before you are killed by "Death". Keep in mind this game is still in Early Access and the developer is adding content pretty much every week!
@@IcebergGaming265 Yeah, I fired up the game and in my 4th run, I finally got to the 30 minute mark and was promptly killed:) That's fine, that kind of "end" allows for the implementation of infinite progression, I thought you were talking about some campaign-like stuff, so I was worried lol

Just downloaded the game yesterday. The Bible does knock enemys back from your garlic tho so be aware of that. I was thinking maybe the whip and blue wand would be good pairs for garlic. If anything gets close to you those projectiles should keep you safe

It really depends on what is available. If it is a weapon I know I want then I would take the new one, otherwise its better to upgrade
