Paul TheSkeptic maybe not on its own, as the quality won't be as great as a real sunth module. But I bet someone creative will figure out how to either sample the toylike sound or incorporate it in a mix with their other modules.
I got the MIDI module they make for it, takes the whole thing into a different realm, they have a CV module as well, I can trigger this from everything now, beautiful thing man.
Of course it's a toy! It's the coolest thing I've seen in ages for a kid that is interested in music and electronics, and playing around with virtual synths on the phone or tablet! Like LEGO teaches about building, this teaches by play about sound-synthesis, the origins and basic principles of just about any electronic instrument, hardware or software, today! It's like learning about basic physics and engines with a model steam-engine :-D
Had it one hour ago....not going to sleep this night, for shure....by the way, I'm 68 y.o. 🎼
These are fun and great to learn basics for analog based synths.
props to KORG
Sounds like something from out of Space Cool !!!!!!!!!
Does it have the option for CV?
I know I'm a bit late but on their website you can get a CV I/O module for the kit!
@@totalbrainfail1812 I have a CV module and MIDI module.
Can it Shpongle, though? :::)
* whispers * Lil' bits
Speeding up the hands was really annoying. I had to stop watching at that point.
Cool idea but demo-ing with the world's least pleasing sounds.
This seems like fun but it also seems, like a toy. Can anyone make real music with this?

Yea this would make a sick audio track for a marimba and electronics solo
