Anne Akiko Meyers Records Ravel Tzigane Luthéal (Original 1924 Version); "Mirror in Mirror"

From Anne's 37th album, "Mirror in Mirror" is a very innovative approach to Ravel's Tzigane, originally written for violin and luthéal. The luthéal was a short-lived invention that gave the piano a cimbalom-like quality and was realized here by composer, Jakub Ciupiński and Elizabeth Pridgen, keyboard. Recorded at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music in May 2016, "Mirror in Mirror" will be released on September 7, 2018 on Avie.
