Hi there, I bought a set of refrigerator thermometer alarms that were impossible to set, and the instructions were impossible to read. As soon as I saw your video, I knew that was the product for me. I appreciate you providing such great instructions.

Thank you so much I was looking all over how to set these things. I also found out that you don't have to go down from 140 you can hit the plus button and it will jump to -40 and then you can continue to hit the + button until you get your desired temp. you don't have to count down from 140 all the way down to -5 etc. Great help Thanks!

I could not figure out how to set the alarm temp. because when I pushed the alarm button to finish the numbers would go back to where they were when I started, but your video made it clear that those alarm numbers will not show during normal operation, Thanks so much for your help. I wish the instructions that came with the unit had said that.

@@michael6692 I like knowing the inside temp. of my frig, being able to see it displayed on my kitchen counter is a big help. I have very expensive medication in my frig so I need to keep a close eye on it. Before I bought this device I used a thermometer that transmitted the temp to my wall clock. Ha ha ha. So even when the outside temp was in the 80s my clocked showed it to be 38 to 41 degrees. ha ha.

Thanks for these. I lost my instructions for these and somehow my freezer door got left open and thawed out half of it. So I appreciate you taking the time to make this video so I can reset my alarms.

good video...small point...when setting high/low alarms, you can just hold down the up or down buttons and it will rapidly change...no need to machine gun them!

I think you will like. I freaked out this morning because the max reading in my freezer showed 72F over night. Then I realized I took the sensors out to do the video and while out the auto sensor recorded room temp and I never reset it. I forgot to say in video that there is a clear button for that. lol

Thank you so much for this video! I could not figure out why after setting the min and max temps, the numbers kept going back to something much higher. I had no idea about the 24 hour monitoring/tracking. I was ready to send the unit back.

Glad to see this order 3 just now. One for our motor home. We have 3 freezers. One outside under our deck. Last summer when it was about 103 went down to get something and found out the freezer had been unplugged. Probably for days, as we figured out how it happened. For the saving grace I had put in 2 frozen 1 gallon jugs of water. They were half defrosted. No harm was done. We now don’t have to run downstairs every few days.

We have a large freezer in the basement and have had previous issues with power failure, icing up of the evaporator coils (no defrosting), and someone not shutting the door completely, all resulting in some degree of food spoilage. We bought one of these temp alarms and keep the reader on the stove. The other sensor is in our kitchen refrigerator. The other day the refrigerator alarm started to go off due to a poor door seal. The range of these sensors is very good considering the price. They more than pay for themselves by alerting just one high temperature outage. The batteries last for several months, but I would change them out every 3-6, especially the freezer sensor. Never skimp on cheap batteries, always use good brand name alkaline.

It alerted us a couple times. One time, we left our door open a crack as well.

I must have a newer version because to rapidly adjust the temp settings (up or down), I simply push and hold the +/- buttons and the numbers advance quickly. Good video as I found the written instructions a little hard to follow.

We freeze bottles of water. If the power goes out, put the ice bottles in the fridge and it becomes a cooler.
