Great job on this! I just printed the same helmet and I've started the prep process. I wanted to ask about the placement of the inner and outer buttons, that allow the helmet face to open and close. Galactic Armory didn't specify how and where to place them exaclty. Would you mind sharing the details ?
I think I have an earlier version of the helmet, there was no inner and outer buttons, just a round tab on the visor that fit into a hole on the helmet on each side.
I think this is what I used. www.etsy.com/listing/493546544/biker-scout-helmet-decals-star-trooper?gpla=1&gao=1&&CjwKCAjw59q2BhBOEiwAKc0ijWw9qalsR9OOKoyHZ9gnh6X-55vgE1IzuWWI8TUVtCgDCC-fDJtCYhoCpmEQAvD_BwE_k_&:pla-353036817099_m__493546544_120077688&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAADtcfRLODdUg25Hyi_NrL7Ug6abDB&gclid=CjwKCAjw59q2BhBOEiwAKc0ijWw9qalsR9OOKoyHZ9gnh6X-55vgE1IzuWWI8TUVtCgDCC-fDJtCYhoCpmEQAvD_BwE
@@its_chup I just figured it out, it's kinda confusing. The outer bolt ofcourse goes on the outside of the visor, but the inner bolts need to be reverse of what you think they go if that makes sense. They go into the other part of the helmet from the outside. Trying to explain it is hard but it shouldn't require any hardware. HMU if you can't figure it out since galactic armory doesn't seem to care much lol.
I don’t really do any kind of measuring. I’ll pour acetone into the cup then add some bondo, if it’s too thin more bondo, too thick, more acetone. It just makes it much easier to get to the hard to reach places.
Your videos are a joy to watch. And so relaxing too. New sub right here. Great work.
Thank you and you’re welcome. 👍🏻🫡

Did you ever figure this out? Just finished printing all the pieces myself and want to ask before I break out the dremel lol
@@davidgaston7334 I think Aaron has updated the file since I did mine. I just popped it on, no cutting required.
Just ordered and used your code. Saved me $2. Thanks. Do you have a link to the stickers?

I’m putting this same helmet together now. How did you assemble the visor hinge?
I may have an earlier version of the helmet, mine just snapped right on the two pegs
@@DarthRageReviews Ah I see, I may have to get some hardware then to get it to fit. Thanks!

With what proportions did you mix the acetone and bondo?

@@DarthRageReviews Alright thanks, I'll try that
please make sergeant sinkers helmet (realistic style)
