is there any special reason that explains why didnt install jack stands right & left and let all the weight to the hydraulic jack? SAFETY FIRST and is the first rule of the hydraulic jack's manual guide. Additionally the STT cooper tyre is veryyyy old . The tread area almost not exist. With a new tyre what will happened? Why the cutting surface did not repair to be as the rest surface. (i.e. spot welding) ?
This is a backyard job and we use all the jacks we had. I got new Coopers tyres now (see latest video) I was just testing out those to see of they fit.
The hole from where you cut off a piece and painted should be crimped and welded shut, or at least be caulked. Even though it's behind plastic, water and mud will get stuck and it will rust from the inside out
Hey mate, great video. Ive got a 2 inch lift and just about to get new tyres. Was going to go for 33's (as well as steelies with -22 offset) so it looks like I might have to do minimal cutting compared to you? Maybe just grind the seam down a bit and pull the mud flap back or off altogether.
Hey man, I love those rims and been searching for a similar rims like yours. Bet those are offroad rims. What's the brand ? It looks simple but yet nice. Yes, I am interested.
Should get a wheel alignment and see if they can move the caster forward a bit then it shouldn't rub at all in the front
Yeah that's a good idea. I was just going to put prado 120 springs in the front for a 3inch lift roughly
Rate Coopers, I've had mine for 3 years now and still driving like a dream!
Lmfao
Nice work lads
Thank you for sharing

Yeah thats it!
Your car is constant 4wd it's the center diff lock that wasn't engaged
Constant AWD, not 4wd. 4wd is what it's called once the centre diff lock is engaged

From a different car and was custom made and fitted.

hello bro.. in this video, you already did a body lift..but your suspension still original?
kinda but the rear is a 3inch lift and the front is 2inch
Did you have to re-gear or was it not necessary?
Not necessary and its been fine for the last year
how are your axles holding up with the 35" tires?
Still good
Do you know the offset or backspacing of your wheels?
Oh and are you running 35x12.5? I am and need a spare wheel but can’t figure it what will fit
Hey mate interesting vid. What size tyres and rims are you running now?
Cheers, same set up just new tyres. Slightly higher lift
@@BuiltCruisers so you're still on 35's . . . ?
I thought you were going back to 33's . . .
What rim offset do you have?
Cheers Ben

She scrubs alittle, gonna get a high front lift
Where ya get those mirrors from
Ebay, i have a UA-cam video on them
Change ya gear ratios as well or you be replacing ya transmission too
Loose much power?
Yeah alittle bit slower,
But im fine with it
What about 33 do you think it will be more sensible?
Wouldn't be enough for the tough tracks and clearance
You can't put a Prado in 4WD😉
😂
is this 1kz engine?
5vz-fe
Ooh choppy boi
Those tyres are fucked mate.. 33s would be better on 16s
