The song was pretty much a diamond in the rough when they played Woodstock. In such a massive event, they probably just wanted to play something fresh to get everyone pumped up, so Jonathan improvised the lyrics.
Silvera was the lifeline of this band, if you read his Facebook rants he's absolutely right about Korn, producers ruined this band, making him play to Click tracks, his Drumming was what made me fall in love with this band to begin with, imagine what Issues could have been if Korn didn't blow up so big and get over produced, I know he had problems with his wrist, but he didn't wake up one day and just suck at drums and change his whole style of drumming, he could still play all the old songs even with his wrist problems, Korn isn't the same without him
I swear people read shit like what Silveria posted and don't sit back and really access the situation. I was on kornspace when he came in spewing some childish bullshit, he said shit that a 12 year old would if they were mad at friends. I thought it wasn't even him until they posted proof that it had been him. Have you seen recent pics of him? he looks like drinking/cocaine/roids have taken their toll. He looks weird as fuck for someone in their mid 40s. He uses his own small fanbase to try to push new music around the time of every new korn record and kornspace ended pretty much because of the shit he was saying, people took him seriously and then tried to help with his shit. He abandoned fans and called us immature and selfish for being pissed at him for never saying anything for years. Yeah fuck us all we only spent shitloads on albums/concerts/merch to help him afford his lifestyle. I'm sure one paragraph on myspace/facebook or anything was too much.. Korn made shitty music without Head/David. This is widely known, tbh they lost alot of creativity with the release Untouchables/Take a look in the mirror which was with him and Head. It's not all everyone elses fault but his. Serenity of Suffering their last album is really good, have an open mind if you like Issues I can't see why you wouldn't like that album... makes zero sense.
Just went to a huge concert, Nobody even jumps or headbangs anymore, They don't even throw their horns up, they just stand there while like 6 out of 10000 people are moshing.
Back when Korn would hit the stage completely inebriated and still kill it. David would be the only one sober to make sure everyone else stays in time 😂
Studio version is best IMO. Woodstock was cool because the song was in development but Jonathan's lyrics were improvised and were pretty lame...but I admire his balls to do that in front of half a million people.
@zacwashere2007 Special private concert for select group of radio contest winners. They played the whole album when Issues was first released to radio.
@nestorlovesguitar Way better then Metallica's '90's for sure. I think KoRn took the (symbolic) torch and ran with it. Now I guess Slipknot has it? Maybe Lamb of God.
i think the only rock band or fully white group to play at the apollo at the time...no one can do it like korn...NO ONE...(david i want to have your babies)
Eric Escobedo he said in an interview that his right wrist started feeling “really tired” when he was playing and it just gave out on him one day. They had to get Mike Bordin from Faith No More to fill in for the rest of the tour while David was recovering

This is the Korn that I loved. Very balanced sounding in their own instruments.
What was great about david is he never sounded stiff or like a drum machine. His playing always had a swagger to it
His kit sounded amazing here too.. That snare sounds killer
I fucking miss Dave. Ray is good but he just ain’t got the flow like Dave.
That intro...miss Silveria. :(
I could not imagine how bad ass this would have been to see live, unreal!
Silvera is awesome with the drums!

Joshua Knudsen Issues is an amazing record anyway, it's their best sounding record, recording and mixing wise.

Just STFU man.
David is swole goals and drumming goals combined in one 💪🏻
One of my favorite korn song
korn -- a real rock band .. but before the guitarist left .. the sound of those 2 guitars together is incredible
Tenho uma noticia pra te contar... Você tá vivo?
Love how David Smashes the DRUMS! Wohoo!!!
Back in 1999 the crowd would bang their heads and move a lot, no cameras or smartphones to record the show.
Just went to a huge concert, Nobody even jumps or headbangs anymore, They don't even throw their horns up, they just stand there while like 6 out of 10000 people are moshing.
You guys are going to wrong concerts. I saw Meshuggah and Code Orange in Seattle, the whole crowd went fucking nuts.
This is a dumb sentence
Back when Korn would hit the stage completely inebriated and still kill it. David would be the only one sober to make sure everyone else stays in time 😂
Ozzfest 08 drowning pool the Mosh caused a tornado it was 👌.
long live to David Silveria!
Silveria... come back!
So used to the Woodstock (demo) version .. they are both great, shame they couldn't do both
Studio version is best IMO. Woodstock was cool because the song was in development but Jonathan's lyrics were improvised and were pretty lame...but I admire his balls to do that in front of half a million people.
david best drummer ever!
Thank you so much for uploading this show! One of the best shows I've even been to!
Silveria!!!!
Plateia morta meu, é o show do Korn caraio, tem que quebrar tudo.
i love this song
When Korn was the real Korn with the amazing David Silveria
quite simply their best track
discharge29 you must be smoking crack.
Their best concerts will always be the ones where the stage was small enough for them to be close to each other.
why they don't play this song anymore?
Maybe we should beg for it.
@@ericsparda4991 we won't beg for it
Cuz its a silveria's song, listen to that piece of awesomeness
@@ChrisJohnson1988 why
@@ChrisJohnson1988 ahhhhhh got ya

Has this ever been performed besides Woodstock? Haven't found any other material related to this track, I think it is a great one to hear live
Ni a los talones le llega ray a silveria
How many times they changed the lyrics of this song 😂
Does anybody have this on DVD? I mean this show never got a commercial release but I'm looking for a bootleg DVD. (VOB-files)
Can anyone tell me why every video I've seen from this show has been less-than-great quality?
Im afraid i cant tell you how this could boy
@theJessegalvez Where did you get them?
2:13 Jon was expecting background vocals. They fucked up and Jon still nailed it.
Dude never looks offstage with a look of concern unless it’s an audio issue.
2:12
2:11
2:10
2:09
why is the crowd so quiet id have screamed the song with jon
nice crowd
Food for thought
I know slipknot was influenced by them
Did they get the jumpsuit idea from head n munky??
Nope.
The most probably, have you seen the white outfit slipknot weared at DYNAMO 2000, similar to MUNKY white JUMPSUIT.
thats why its called a demo dedededede
Best band in the 90's for me...better than what Metallica did in the 90's , even though Metallica is my favorite band haha...
this album was pretty new at this time dude no wonder why hmm?
@kurzynski5 ...
@kurzynski5 .
Rich's band JwT was pretty sick
PERFECT (L)
@BlackBloodMusic Im joking

Except they’re not fully white.
beating me down*
probably cause it's from the 90s lol
He was; after '99 he lost his passion for it and it showed! Weak playing after Issues, especially live.
Keep in mind he injured his wrist shortly after this record
@@brandontucciarone7167 how so

Too bad for the sound bur what the fuck !!! So fuckin' performance !
Bruno Mars on bass
