This is Z, not B, but he's signed in, so . . . Sharpie is an alcohol ink so rubbing alcohol will remove it. Try using an Ultra Fine Point Sharpie next time. Love your videos!
Just subscribed to your channel. Love your tin can ideas. Very interesting. Don't know if you've already done it; but, perhaps you can use alcohol inks for coloring?
I have had those letter stamps forever and never got around to doing anything with him but I am going to try this with the tin cans. Have you tried using alcohol to remove the extra sharpie?
Hi Vivian - I have use rubbing alcohol to remove sharpie on other projects but didn't think about it for this one. Thanks for watching and for the tip reminder. Have fun with your project.
I dont understand why your block is so shiny. Thats not what the blocks normally look like. Also, it shouldnt be getting marked up like it is. Just an f.y.i.
@@UpcycleDesignLab Im not saying that you shouldn't mark it up, Im saying that its a mystery to me why it is. I've only seen the thick square black blocks. I have one. And they just dont get marked up like yours is. I'm so curious to why your block has such a shiny surface?
Thank you for sharing it.
Thanks for watching 🙂
You've helped me a lot. I want to add stamped metal to my broken china mosaics. The flattened cans with stamping will be my next experiment!
Hi Patti - I am happy you found the information useful. Thanks for watching. 🙂
Love these!
