This is my Sunday night viewing sorted or I may wait untill the series is complete then watch them all together 👍👍👍👍👍....i was up Northumberland not so long back myself beautiful part of the country Bri
Thank you very much for taking us on a nice tour again😍. I only know Northumberland from our trip to Scotland. Again a lot of interesting sight-seeing tips with atmospheric music☺️.....and our beloved Beer o clock 🍻...can t wait for Part 2...🤗
Thanks Brian and Sue for this great video. Also thank you for visiting our home of Lincoln and meeting our friend Richard at the castle. We have ridden all the roads and places contained within this episode of your tour, and have also toured Northumberland a couple of times, so looking forward to the next chapters. I can confirm the Humber Bridge to be long as I completed the half marathon in 2008, having run across it twice!! Ride safe, Andy.
Thanks very much Andrew! We loved Lincoln 😍 and had a great time - it was also brilliant to bump into Richard 👍 and ride some stunning roads! We’d rather ride the Humber Bridge than run it 😱😂😀👍
G'day Guys Great Job on the Video. Both Lincoln and Whitby looked like intersteing Ports Of Call. Look forward to the next Part. Roll on Beer Oclock. Cheers Paul
Thank you both for another excellent video/riding guide. I'm working my way through your entire back catalogue! I too am a rider, back after 30 years away, I am now 59 and have bought a lovely Honda 500x, which does everything i need and more. Great editing and content, please keep up the good work, ride safe both of you.
Thank you Dave 🙏 we appreciate you taking time to watch our adventures! Hope you have some great adventures of your own now you’re back on two wheels! 😀👍
I used to live near the Lincolnshire border with Norfolk and would often ride past Lincoln to get elsewhere, now as so often happens after watching one of your films I find it a place on the "must visit" list. If you ever go that way again try riding over the Lincolnshire wolds as lovely roads and countryside. I can only echo the others in complementing you guys in the quality of your filming and editing, great soundtrack too! love the blues/rock vibe, looking forward to ep2.
My wife and I both passed our tests aged 55, I had done moto cross 30 years ago my wife never ridden a bike. We are really having a great time with our new way of life, my well bump into you at some point. Keep up with your the posts. Roger and Carol 👍
Thank you Roger! Isn’t it great when you both share the same passion and can ride together 😀 we were 50 and 53! Hope you enjoy many more miles together - take care! 😀👍
So happy to see this new series. I think we figured out that we love your videos so much because what’s important to you on tour is also what’s important to us: curvy roads with natural beauty, historical sight-seeing, a good beer/wine, good food, a comfy bed, and friendly hosts. (And perhaps a shared dislike of crowds of tourists.) thanks again.
Another great start to a new series from the pair of you and you passed very close by my hometown of Scunthorpe on your way to the Humber Bridge. Once again a masterclass in the art of editing, so well put together as usual. Looking forward to the future episodes already. Ride safe as always you two and thanks for sharing your adventures again.

Born in Lincoln, now living in Northumberland I had to watch this one😜, great trip and some great biking roads I know well, there are lots more😆👍. My mother once worked in the Cathedral as the Archdeacon’s secretary, the old town up steep hill has an amazing history, spent many a happy hour exploring the pubs and bars around the Cathedral.
Enjoyable as ever, great video 👍🏻, did laugh at Sue's reaction when someone couldn't get his fish and chips in time 🤣 🤣, my wife and i are looking forward to the next one, ride safe the pair of you 👍🏻
The quality and research you put into your vids just gets better and puts our modest efforts to shame. Lincoln brings back lots of great memories for us, we were so proud to watch our son graduate from Lincoln University a few years ago with the ceremony in the cathedral. Whitby is nice but totally packed last time we visited.
Thanks very much Richard! Always appreciate a fellow motovlogger’s comments 👍 we really look forward to your uploads too - I think we’re both getting better 😀! It must have been very special seeing the graduation in the cathedral - it’s a stunning stunning place and Lincoln itself was a real eye opener!😀👍 - Whitby would have been lovely if it hadn’t have been so busy 🙁. Thanks again for watching 😀
I love watching your video's. A great mix of riding, sight seeing, historical information, great places to stop and have coffee and of course your hotel reviews. You've made Lincoln a place to visit for us, thank you keep up the great work.
Really interesting video and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Never realised Lincoln was such an interesting place , looking forward to the rest of the series :)
Thanks very much Les! You’re absolutely right - we’d loved to have spent more time in both places - in fact we’d love to spend more time touring 😀 maybe one day! 😀👍
Great video. I was in Whitby last week on my GS with my partner and had no trouble getting a seat at the chippy opposite the Whistle stop biker cafe situated in the old railway station, to be honest I've never had a bad experience with Whitby at all. I've now subscribed to your channel and I'm going to binge watch all you have done. 😊
Eventually got round to watching this. YAY, my old stomping ground ! I grew up on a farm in Foston on the Wolds, a little village halfway between Driffield and Bridlington, went to school in Driffield, moved to Hull when I got married. Coast road from Hull to Whitby, up to Carlisle then back over Yorkshire moors was a regular ride out.
Loved the video, all roads and areas I know well. Lived just outside Lincoln for a number of years, worked at Scampton. Always love the history and hotel tours, makes me laugh that Sue doesn’t pick up on the toilet lids always being up in the room tour 😂😂. Look forward to seeing you what you make of my Northumberland 💙💙💙
I think magpie cafe in Whitby is supposed to be the best but you would have to que! Entertaining and informative video though as usual. Stay safe to one and all.
Excellent thanks for that, Love Kielder and the areas around it. Both Whitby and Robins hoods bay tried to get there so many times and had Bagdale hall booked then Covid. Looking forward to Holy Island yet again stars never aligned and never got there due to times for the ferry going home to NI. Hopefully next year.
Just come back from Filey...we obviously went to Whitby too...found some jet as well! Fabulous as ever..should have gone to Kirmington and tried the Marrowbone and Clever...we did it was very good xx And Olivers Mount is a must if only for the views...
Hi Guys. Loved this. Did Lincoln and Whitby in our 28foot motorhome and well your vid brought back so many great times. Suggest you return to Lincoln castle for the Steam Punk event coz its out of this world. Book early as its so so popular. Am sure you will enjoy it. Also look out for a small shop that sells spirits.........its fantastic. Keep safe, Old Bloke
Great start to your latest tour, great weather also, just returned from a tour in Devon, made sure I visited a few places you visited in the Cotswolds enroute and on the way home, looking forward to the next installment 🙂
Thank you! We did have a great start with the weather 🌞 pity it didn’t last! Devon and the Cotswolds 👏👏👏 brilliant - hope you enjoyed your trip? Thanks for watching! 😀👍
great vid folks, thoroughly enjoy virtually riding along and visiting all the sites although Whitby seems a little too busy and might move on to the next town myself. Looking fwd to pt II and the next adventures.........cheers from Western Canada
Thank you Malcolm! Whitby was indeed far too busy for us 🙁 - lovely little town and probably much better off peak season! Good to have you along for the ride and thanks for watching! 👍😀
What a shame you took the A46 to Lincoln. The journey you could have had through Cambridgeshire and Lincolnshire going through the tiny villages and hamlets is wonderful.
Yet another informative video. Last time I visited Lincoln, was 2019. I managed a short day trip there (from Staffordshire). Might try & persuade my partner to join me next time, for a short weekend.
Always a great video. Thanks for the ride. I'll investigate the east coast one day. Lincoln looked a truly lovely place. I've yet to cross the Humber Bridge but it looks spectacular. I recently read that the tops of the pillars are 1.4 inches further apart at the top than the bottom but they're both upright ... thanks to the earth's curvature. See you again soon.
Great, informative video. 👍🏻 I’ve never been to Humberside apart from a work visit to Grimsby once!! Lincoln looks a fascinating city and worthy of a visit one day. I wouldn’t have fancied riding those cobbles in the wet tho! 😱 Look forward to the next instalment. 😊
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries Did it once in Belgium (they do like a cobble or two! 🤣). Hubby routed us on a cobbled road for about two miles ! I think it was part of the Paris-Roubais cycle route! 😱 I was not happy !
Once again a great video. Myself and my good lady and our boys love going to Scarborough for our holidays. As it is just 1 1/2 hours away from where we live in sunny Stockton on Tees. Great to hear what you both think of Scarborough and Whitby . The replica of caption James Cook was on the Riverside in Stockton. But was then move to Whitby. Looking forward to seeing your next video. Like the gent in Lincoln it would have been great to meet up with you both. Take care and please ride safe.
Thanks very much James! I wonder if “sunny “ Stockton on Tees is as sunny as Blackburn was for me growing up! 😂🌞 it was really great to explore the North East having never been before - I wonder if Scarborough and Whitby are always that busy or is it just more people are staying in the UK? Anyway, we loved it - thanks for watching! 😀👍
Thank you very much for replying. Yes Whitby and Scarborough are always busy to visit. More so Whitby as it is a small place. Where Scarborough is bigger. I grow up in billingham. My mum and dad move to Stockton.. I when of to join the army. Was posted to westmoors near Bournemouth. Great posting .nice and sunny . See you both in your next video. Take care.
Yes a lot cooler back up here in the north. I did leave the army and work in Poole Dorset. Great place to work and live. Work at pilkington tiles in Poole. But move back home in the north . To help my mum out as my dad had a heart attack. I got a job with ICI. Did 21year with them .
really enjoyed that one, I often travel on my bike over the bridge to Beverley and Driffield so enjiyed seeing it on video, you both look so well and relaxed, always nice to see Sue smiling, take care, Ride safe Bazza
So glad I waited until coffee o clock to watch this! Another interesting travelogue with loads of facts, observations, history, myths and legends, oh and a bit of riding as well, not to mention the now famous MMD reviews. I have only seen Scarborough through motorcycle vloggers going there, although we have been to Whitby, to collect a 10x8 foot dresser for our kitchen, but we did have great fish and chips, in the pouring rain I might add. Looking forward to the next episode until then ride safe and take care.
Where was the remaining Full Breakfast? Looks a bit lost! Looking forward to the next episodes. We copied you last year and did the NC500. It was excellent apart from 2 days of terrible weather. Thanks for the videos and hotel advice, we followed it to the letter. 👍👍👍
Thank you Mick! The Bagdale Hall breakfast was brilliant! 🍳🥓 👍 Glad you enjoyed the NC500 despite the bad weather - we still think it was one of our best ever tours and thanks for watching! 👍😀
Managed to find time to watch today, Sue knows🤣. Very enjoyable, especially Scarborough and Whitby, about 1 hours run for me. Nice to see what you thought of the area and can't wait for Northumberland, again about 1hr in the opposite direction. Great stuff guy's👍
Thanks very much Chris! We appreciate you taking the time - Busy schedules are always a problem! 😂 you’re definitely located in a brilliant position for ride outs! 😀👍
Brian and Sue you are right Trenchers is the place to go for fish and chips in Whitby the also do an excellent smoked salmon salad and the deserts are to die for. Hope you manage to get up there again to sample it. Ps I stumbled across you channel which Googling the nc500 I think you videos are great !!
Thanks very much Jason! We’ll definitely go Trenchers next time - thanks for the confirmation! 👍 glad you’re enjoying watching our adventures and thanks for your comments! 👍😀
Pam and I were in York three years ago and we had time for one more day trip. Whitby or Edinburgh? We took the train to Edinburgh. I had a rotten cold, so I didn’t get to enjoy it as much as I would have liked. We plan to return and stay longer. Perhaps we can do a day trip to Whitby. I was born on Galveston Island, Texas, and grew up surfing. So the coast with fresh seafood appeals to me. The A1 reminds me of Houston traffic. It’s always gridlocked when I have to drive through there to visit family in Galveston. I hate it. In Wyoming where I now live, if there are 7 cars on the highway 90, it’s a traffic jam. Looking forward to part 2.😎👍
Thanks Bill! Shame you weren’t feeling well in Edinburgh it’s a great city👍 Whitby would be nicer off peak. Galveston (I love Glen Campbell!) sounds a bit different to Wyoming 😀 - 7 cars traffic jam 😂 love it! 😀👍
Great job guys once again. Glad to see your out again touring. How do you get so many trips packed into one year. I’ve only gotten two in so far. A long and a short. Hope you still can find one or two more before the winter sets in. Thanks again for the entertainment.
Thank you 🙏 we try to do as much as we can while we can! I’m not getting any younger 😂 - we would normally get out of the UK at least once a year but Covid ruined that 🙁 so we decided to do a couple of shorter tours instead. Hopefully get another in before winter 🤞. Thanks for watching! 😀👍
The best fish and chips in Whitby, in a restaurant, they also do takeaway, has to be The Magpie Cafe it would have been worth the wait. Sorry you did not get there. Another great video. My son has a place there, we love Whitby but ; we think Jard sur Mer is better, no hills.
Loved the vid.. looking forward to Ep2 as we live in a little village called Staindrop in County Durham where Hexham, Alston, Stanhope Ect are all on our doorstep and are ridden as often as possible.. Keep up the great content !
Morning you two, i've just done the Northumberland 250 last Sunday to this Tuesday with a pal, very good indeed, the route delivers every type of road and scenery imaginable, superb despite quite a number of road closures, if you are going to do the Kielder forest trail take it easy, this was our first off road experience and despite being very mild in truth, the arm fatigue at the end by holding on too tight was considerable !,! looking forward to the upcoming videos.
Thanks very much Ian! We absolutely loved the route ( did a week or so ago) - We did the Kielder forest trail too and totally agree - for off road enthusiasts it was very mild but if you’re inexperienced it takes a lot of concentration 😱! Thanks for watching! 😀👍
Another great video, I lived in Lincoln for 12 years, left in 2006, and enjoyed seeing a number of familiar sights in the Uphill area, I always wanted to live in Cathedral square but the budget wouldn’t quite stretch that far!
Thouraly enjoyed riding with you both around my County, we live just a few minutes from Lincoln City , those cobbles are deadly when wet as many a cyclist will tell you, and probably motorcyclist also, plenty of hidden jams to dig out , especially the hidden Lincoln Imp in the Cathedral. We rode along Scarborough sea front only two weeks ago in superb weather, did you miss Oliver’s Mount? Lincoln has some excellent Chippies, my treat if you come this way again. Great video all round, nice not to be watching bike reviews and racing around, keep up the good work. All the best to you both, stay safe and ride safe?
Thank you Derek! We really appreciate your comments - So that was the Imp and not the Gnome! 🤔 I think we did miss Oliver’s Mount - yes, we think the same about bike reviews and racing around - not what we like to do. Thanks for watching!😀👍
Thank you Adrian - it does take a lot of time but it’s worth it to keep a record of our travels. We appreciate your comments and thanks for watching! 😀👍
As ever I enjoyed your video and soaked in the history narration. Seems wherever you go now that's attractive to tourists there's just too much traffic, people and their dogs. Finding a good 'chippy' as we called them oop north is becoming increasingly difficult, seems it's mostly about fleecing the punters in these resorts, anyway I enjoyed the ride with you and look forward to your next ones, ride safe.
Thanks Lee! You’re absolutely right about too much traffic 🙁 but I suppose it’s worse going in peak season. The best ever chippy was when I was a kid in Blackburn 👍😀! It used to be a cheap way of eating but not anymore 💰💰😀!
I enjoyed this, Lincoln is lovely isn't it. The best thing about whitby is the photos you can get, the chippies are nice but don't believe the hype, they are all the same so go to any one of them. I've tried them all! Best chip shop in the North is in Shap apparently.... There's a grave stone in the church of a couple who were born on the same day they then got married on their birthday and then died on the same date too. It might even be today's date! You're in my playground now, I'm looking forward to your next videos :)
Thanks Michael! We really loved Lincoln and Whitby would have been better with fewer people! Interesting about the chippies - they’ve all been voted best in Britain 😂 thanks for watching! 😀👍
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries There's an annual national competition for the best chippie and I look to find the best. It's been a while since whitby won it. I do like Whitby don't get me wrong but for bikers there's so many empty places in the moors to go to with brilliant cafes, ice cream parlours and cake shops no wonder I'm fat!
Had a ride to Humber Bridge a few weeks ago, had breakfast in Barton and did crossing over and back, filmed it but video malfunction (couldn’t see screen for sun shining on it and it wasn’t switched on). Wasn’t happy !
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries I know, I was with others otherwise I would have gone round again but I were were back on dual carriageway heading south (in a lay-by) by the time I realised . The positives and negatives of technology
Another good vid, but fish and chips in Whitby…. It’s the Magpie fish and chip restaurant, you have to book in advance other wise it’s a long wait. Next time have a look at the Jet jewellery, it’s unusual to Whitby.
Another great video. Interesting and informative as usual... Looking forward to the next one.. By the way way are you planning on doing the RTTW and the bike show in December?
Thanks very much Phillip 🙏 we appreciate your comments! 😀 we’re not planning on doing the RTTW - we’re not big fans if huge bike rides - we prefer to pay our respects in a more understated way , although I’m sure it will be an amazing experience for all involved 👍! We are going to the Bike Show though 🤞😀
I think you'll find that the Grand Hotel,is not as Grand as it once was and it was probably a good idea that you did'nt go in ,as it would have shattered your childhood memories.
Hi, I thought you were a bit harsh on those lovely lodgings in Lincoln. Yes, your room was rather cozy and dimly lit in the crypt but hard to beat the atmosphere, I'd say. You would pay top $$$$ for that in the USA. Gated parking in a prime location looked well secure and much better than many of your stopovers, but somehow didn't make a 5? To be fair. that's just my observation from afar, eh? Cheers
Great video, I was wondering what you guys use to plan your route? Google maps? Currently trying to plan the nland250 myself but it looks like I may have to purchase a tomtom rider or something similar
Thank you Craig - we downloaded the Northumberland 250 map from the website and then planned the route day to day using an i phone with Google maps and our Garmin sat navs! 😀👍
And in addition its the only way to go bike touring when you are of a certain age, and sadly I am my partner is getting very choosy as she gets nearer the big 60 and I can't really go without her 😢
We absolutely love our bike tours together! Probably because we came to biking late in life and want to do as much as as we can while we can - it would be a shame if your partner decided she didn’t want to do it anymore 🙁 🤞
Oh no I doubt that will ever happen she loves it and we are doing Donegal next May on a 7 day tour with the white rose bike touring company from Yorkshire. I only past my test about 18 years ago at age 46 having rode a bit in the 70s and I now teach advanced and CBT in my spare time Suzanne is bike mad and regrets never having the opportunity to take it up but loves to ride pillion, I just love the whole concept of biking and the lovely people I've met while doing it
"Universally acknowledged as one of the worst kings of England" - bit of a sweeping and strong statement that one. It depends on how you measure it I suppose. I can think of worse monarchs.
Thanks for your comments Steve - just based upon the research I did on him 🤷♂️ it seems pretty compelling- “John was one of the worst kings - arguably the worst king - ever to sit on England’s throne. “A very bad man,” in the words of one contemporary chronicler, “brim-full of evil qualities.” Despite occasional attempts to rehabilitate him, his reputation among academics remains extremely poor.” 🤔

Thank you Simon 🙏 glad you enjoyed it! We really did enjoy Lincoln - it was a great place to stay! 😀👍
Really interesting video and I thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Never realised Lincoln was such an interesting place , looking forward to the rest of the series :)
Thanks Del! We didn’t either but it was brilliant! 😀👍
The Steampunk events at Lincoln are amazing.
Thanks Matthew! That sounds really interesting! 😀👍
Love the MMD ratings, pity you couldn't spend more time in both
Lincoln and Scarborough. They're both great in different ways.
😊
Thank you! We really liked Whitby, it’s a lovely little town I think we just picked peak time when it was really busy. Thanks for watching! 😀👍
Once again a great video , i look forward to all your trips they put my little 150 mile round trips to shame . keep up the good work .
Thank you Michael! Glad you enjoyed it and there’s nothing wrong with 150 mile round trips! 😀👍
Another great video guys, they're getting better all the time. Well done, keep it up. x
Thanks very much! We keep trying - glad you enjoyed it! 😀👍
Thanks David! Glad it brought back some memories for you - it’s a great part of the country to ride in! 👍😀
Glad you liked the video ☺️ I’m so used to the loo lid being left up, Paul I just don’t notice it anymore. 😂
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries 😂😂😂
I think magpie cafe in Whitby is supposed to be the best but you would have to que! Entertaining and informative video though as usual. Stay safe to one and all.
Thanks Trevor! Lots of people have now said the same about the Magpie 👍 next time we’ll know! 👍😀
Thanks Steve! We loved the area too sounds like you were planning to do the same route! 👍 hope you get a chance to do it soon! 😀👍
Just come back from Filey...we obviously went to Whitby too...found some jet as well! Fabulous as ever..should have gone to Kirmington and tried the Marrowbone and Clever...we did it was very good xx And Olivers Mount is a must if only for the views...
Thanks Sue! Always good to get recommendations 👍 next time we’re passing through Kirmington! 😀👍
Hi Guys.
Thank you! Really glad you enjoyed watching our adventures and it brought back some great memories for you! 👍😀
I love Whitby, I've been there many times, from childhood caravan holidays to weekends away as an adult. The Magpie restaurant is a nice stop.
Thank you 🙏 I’ve heard several times about the Magpie - next time we’ll know! 👍😀
Great filming you got it sorted
Thanks very much Dale! 😀👍
great vid folks, thoroughly enjoy virtually riding along and visiting all the sites although Whitby seems a little too busy and might move on to the next town myself.
Thanks Paul - you’re absolutely right, we should have gone through the beautiful villages ☹️ I wish we had known that route! 😀👍
Yet another informative video. Last time I visited Lincoln, was 2019. I managed a short day trip there (from Staffordshire). Might try & persuade my partner to join me next time, for a short weekend.
Thank you! We loved Lincoln, it was a real surprise - didn’t know much about it before - well worth a visit! 👍😀
Thank you Stu! Lincoln is definitely worth a visit 👍 the Humber Bridge is pretty spectacular to ride over - preferably when it’s not too windy 🌬! 😀👍
Thank you! Lincoln was well worth it - cobbles in the wet? Me neither 😂😀👍
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries Did it once in Belgium (they do like a cobble or two! 🤣). Hubby routed us on a cobbled road for about two miles ! I think it was part of the Paris-Roubais cycle route! 😱 I was not happy !
@@5coaly ouch! 2 miles on cobbles 😱 not much fun! 😀
Take care.
Thanks James! I bet it was a change from sunny Bournemouth moving back up North! 😂
Thank you Bazza! Glad you enjoyed our first episode 👍 we loved Umbrella Plaza in Driffield 😍 - thanks for watching! 👍😀
Thank you! Looks like everyone has had fish and chips in Whitby ! 😂 at least we had some dry weather 🌞 thanks again for watching! 😀👍
👍. Look forward to the other episodes. Lincoln seems to be undersold compared to say York. As soon as anything gets put on TV it's the place to avoid!
Thank you! You’re absolutely right about that - best to see places sooner than later before they get spoiled!
Nice one MMD. Glad you didn't try and ride down to the bottom at Robin Hood's Bay!
Thanks Alan! Wasn’t sure if it was possible to ride down to the bottom - it looked more pedestrian friendly so we thought better of it! 😀👍
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries I wouldn't recommend it
@@blueyondermoto thought not! 😀
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries I've been thinking about riding up to Bamburgh and Holy Island, maybe next year so will watch this series avidly 👍
@@blueyondermoto well worth a trip!
You’re probably right! Once again, my impatience has proved costly! 😂 Jard sur Mer sounds good! 👍😀
Loved the vid.. looking forward to Ep2 as we live in a little village called Staindrop in County Durham where Hexham, Alston, Stanhope Ect are all on our doorstep and are ridden as often as possible.. Keep up the great content !
Thank you! You live in a fantastic area for biking - we loved it! 😀👍
Thanks David! Glad we brought back some memories 😀 we loved it and Cathedral square looked a great location to live! 😀👍
Another great video, which must have taken ages to put together
Thanks from Denmark
Thank you Rune! 👍😀
We love finding great cafes with good coffee and cakes! 😀👍
@@midlifemotorcyclediaries haha, maybe you should come for a ride one day then ;)
Next time head up that way we’ll ask for recommendations! 😀👍
😃👍👌💕 Thanks
Thank you Erwin! 👍😀
Had a ride to Humber Bridge a few weeks ago, had breakfast in Barton and did crossing over and back, filmed it but video malfunction (couldn’t see screen for sun shining on it and it wasn’t switched on). Wasn’t happy !

Next time have a look at the Jet jewellery, it’s unusual to Whitby.
Thanks Colin, it’s always good to get local recommendations! 😀👍
Another great video. Interesting and informative as usual... Looking forward to the next one.. By the way way are you planning on doing the RTTW and the bike show in December?

I think you'll find that the Grand Hotel,is not as Grand as it once was and it was probably a good idea that you did'nt go in ,as it would have shattered your childhood memories.
I had heard it was a little more shabby than chic. 😄 Memories are sometime left as memories 😉Thanks for watching the vids 👍
Cheers
Thank you Geoffrey, you’re right it was nice and cosy ~ but for a top score it needs to be top in all areas! Thanks for watching! 😀👍
Trenches fish restaurant is about 300yrds from your B&B. or for a takeaway the best place is "Royal fisheries" 150yrds from your B&B
Thanks Gaz! Wish we’d have done that - you live and learn! 😀👍
Guy Martins pubs not a bad breakfast stop off and on route from your Lincoln lodge
Thanks Rick! I didn’t know that 🙁 it would have been great to stop by - hopefully next time!🤞😀👍
Great video, I was wondering what you guys use to plan your route? Google maps? Currently trying to plan the nland250 myself but it looks like I may have to purchase a tomtom rider or something similar
Thank you Craig - we downloaded the Northumberland 250 map from the website and then planned the route day to day using an i phone with Google maps and our Garmin sat navs! 😀👍
Ok no problem thanks
