You can do it Isabelle! We'd love to see your creations when they're done - so pop a pic over on my facebook page - link in the description of the demo - when you're done...x
Have fun Pat Max! I'd love to see what colours you choose - so remember, you can always post pics to my facebook page. You'll find the link in the description, although if my memory serves me correctly, you're already following the page! ;-) x
You are so welcome Virginia! Thank you for leaving such lovely feedback. If you give this one a go - remember to post your pictures to my facebook page - link in the description - so that we can see the colours you have chosen! x
Yay - so pleased you've found me here Helen - I miss doing the live shows, purely for the interaction with all the viewers. I might not be on the telly anymore....BUT I am still beading! x
Hi Jo! I'm a long time subscriber, but I don't think I've ever commented here before. I just wanted to say that you are a WONDERFUL teacher! I'm a moderately experienced beader, but haven't yet tried this stitch, and your calm, patient explanation and clear camera work are very easy to follow. The way you describe what I'm looking at - 'column of four beads, etc. - is perfect. So thank you very much for sharing with everyone, I'm certain that I'm not the only one who appreciates it. 😃 I was wondering if it would look nice to make the chain using two different sizes of beads? Say elevens for the column of four and then fifteens or eights for the accent - have you tried that? I suppose a person could also alternate the colors of the accent or column beads, or arrange them various patterns to achieve different looks. (Lots of fun exploration to come!) Well thanks again for giving me something new to play with this morning.
Hi FlashyJackie1.... Thank you so much for leaving such wonderful feedback - it makes my heart swell, when I think that you - all of you out there - are learning something from little videos! You could easily use a different size of the accent bead - but I don't think you could mix sizes up having the column of 4 in 11/0's and the column of 2 in 15/0's as that column of 2 then has 4 beads added to it and it becomes a column of 4 again. (Don't know if that made sense, but hope it did!) I already have a second version of this filmed...and a third one in the pipeline to show you how you can expand on this idea....so keep your eyes peeled! ;-) Thanks again for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback - makes the hours behind the camera so worthwhile! x
As many others have said, you are an excellent instructor. Clear, concise, and thorough. No wasted motion or long drawn out commentary. Just right to the bone---or the bead. Thanks for your time!
Hi Jo, I'm not a fast learner, but you do such an excellent job of explaining (without excessive chatter), that it's wonderful learning from you! Thank you so much for your time & teachings. I'm looking forward to watching the double version. Until then, take care.❤ Stella in Texas
I can bead all kinds of things, just made some fringed earrings & odd count peyote bracelet but St Petersburg chain defeats me every time. I hear your voice saying you have to go back to move forward but yet it still defeats me !!!😮
I'll try as soon as possible. You are a good teacher, quiet. Thanks
