Rob, well done for upping your game with the new camera and lights. If you care about the lighting here are some tips:
You only need two lights out front: a key and a fill. At the moment your set up is a little flat and it will look much better if you change a couple of things. Your main light (key light) should have a larger frontal area - like with a softbox - I'm sure you can find a cheap one for your LED light. Placing it as near as possible will also increase its relative size, the larger the source the softer the light and it will get rid of those hard shadows from your glasses. Also, it will look better if the key light is coming from the direction you are facing, so the opposite side to how you have it now. The other light can be used to 'fill in' the shadows a little on the other side but not so much that you have the lighting as flat as you have it now.
Your third light, if you want, could be positioned as close to your Orange head as possible just out of shot to give you a bit of a sidelight accent. Try this one at 5,600K and the others at 3,200K and you'll get a nice blue side light that will ape your backlight.

You really sound like you know your stuff. Being a consumer of content and not a creator hearing all of that detail about lighting was actually fascinating because I've never even thought about how important lighting is in a production.

Good call on the 6DII. Great camera for stills as well as video. Canon has a 1 year warranty, unless the camera is "Grey Market", meaning a Canadian product sold in America. Usually these cameras are considerably cheaper and carry NO warranty at all. I'd suggest checking with Canon directly, the few times I had to interact with them, they were very helpful. If nothing else, get the 77D fixed so you have a backup/knock around camera. One other thing that helped is going to the f/4 L series lens on the 6D. The wider aperature will allow more light in, so faster shutter speed and lower ISO. The kit lenses are ok to start with, but rubbish for real use.
I'm a bit of a photo geek, for what it's worth. Can't carry a tune in a bucket, but love the content. Keep up the good work!

Awesome stuff dude great content and delivered in such a refreshing way.

hey you had a vid a bit ago about diming two channels and inserting a delay in between. What a great idea. what delay would you recommend? i can't see spending lots of imperial credits on some massive delay machine when a cheap delay would do? What would you suggest to get the job done, sound good, but frankly isnt a strymon?

The shops always say the problem is not fixable or the repair would cost too much or require too much time. I work in insurance and bought a Canon 60D in salvage for 20$ and fixed the error 30 in 5 minutes with a screw driver you’d use to adjust your eye glasses. These shops are the mafia.
