I just replaced mine from behind. Just remove the rear access panel. You can reach under the drum take the pump loose by pushing it forward so the rubber isolators come loose, then rotate it carefully. Unhook the wiring. Then with some kind of catch pan under it, take the hoses off. Reattach the hoses & the pump. Then reattach the back panel and slide the washer back. I think it was a lot easier than taking the top and front of my machine apart. By the way, mine is stacked, and I didn’t have to unstack it to do it this way. Just be carful pulling it out. Don’t push or pull on the dryer while stacked.
