My thoughts exactly! An innocent person would be saying everything possible and emotionally to prove their innocence during the trial and he just sat there.
He's heart broken, he's innocent. The murder weapon was found outside his girlfriend's home, and she admitted the cleaning supplies belong to her while pointing her finger at him. People lie t themselves and others all the time. This individual (not a man) is still young and thinks he can lie his way out of his troubles. There are just some kids who are bad, no matter how good a job the parents did to raise them. Satan can get ahold of each of us and unless we are wary of it, we actually believe the bad we do is "good." This is why the guilty make claims they are innocent. ALL fall short of the glory of God. Sadly, depravity is not recognizing one's own actions as wicked, repenting of it before Almighty God, turning to God for help in overcoming one's sins and making Him Lord of your life. We are never sin-free, but we can become actively His and that will change our hearts for the better. Pray for all involved in this case.
Right and he made no sense . Trying to lie and couldn't even form a sentence worthy of listening to. He knows he's guilty that's why he's so calm. Just wanted to pull a lie out of his ass one last time.
I wonder how his parents still maintain the delusional mindset that he's innocent when they've seen all the evidence. There was so much evidence and ALL of it points to Nathaniel Rowland.
EVIL EVIL EVIL Not ONE WORD of sadness to her family and friends. Whether he did this or not. EVIL EVIL EVIL. I feel safer now that he is going to be behind bars and away from decent people. His lawyer is hanging her head in shame.. Rightly too. Well said Judge, he does have a "depraved heart."
Errrrrrr...This guy just won't take responsibility for his actions. This wasn't his first time robbing. It will be his last time murdering. RIP... JUSTICE FOR SAMANTHA 🙏
Yes. Never accepting responsibility is a problem with many in society today. It is an epidemic. Maybe his mother should have made him face consequences as he was growing up and beat his ass when he needed it. Imo. This is such a horrible tragedy. May Samantha rest in peace.
Makes me wonder how many more women he might’ve killed. A person doesn’t roll out of bed one day and decide to go murder a random innocent person. He had all of his cleaning tools, knew exactly where to put her lifeless body then go about the next day as if nothing had happened. His ex-girlfriend testified that nothing was out of the norm the following day. Even helped his ex get her work clothes washed at his sister’s house. No way this Samantha was his first victim. She is definitely his last though
Maybe not, to survive n prison he got to pay the price to live by organize killings inside the joint, or lets take it further he could demonize himself to astral project. Since the Judge identified his demons and said his kind should come out through exorcist then perhaps it should be attached to his sentence. But, perhaps those demons are best kept trapped inside him. Also, what about his ex-girl friend ; I heard if a person lay down with demons they can possessed the person physically. Besides, the dad said his demon son has his dna! There are many of them inside that family waiting to be activate; so that whole family need an exorcist.done.
If it wasn't Samantha, it would have been another little lamb right outside the flock. It could have been me. Now some of us know to pay attention to the car we are assigned to because people would actually do this. Did he attack her soon after or when he stopped 20 minutes later and her phone was shut off?
Good points i think he too sloppy to had killed anybody before this cus of how he did it…everything in his own car and the nature of how he killed her proves dude missing a few screws and finally lost his mind(theoretically)
The fact he announced that he’s innocent to the jury angers me . After all the surveillance evidence showing him circling his car stalking Samantha alone outside the bar , murder weapon found , Samantha belongings in his car , and her body found in the woods which links that he murdered her and he still has the audacity to claim that he’s innocent? Now he can rot in jail and in hell for the remaining on his life . Disgusting
Go and listen to what he told Alex Murdaugh during his sentencing. You talking about "preaching the gospel "...he told him he knows his wife and son visits him at night when he's trying to sleep and they will continue to do so. The classiest" read" I think I've ever heard.

I hope someday her parents can look at pictures of her and not see this demons face. I pray for their healing. 🤍

Your comments were sweet and caring. I respect you for it. I'm in my 50's now and had some struggles in my youth coming up here in bklyn NY. However, I'm sick of these dudes killing folks for no good reason 😒. It's sad. Like you mentioned that young woman had horrible last moments. Is this the case where the girl mistakenly got into a car she thought was a Uber?
The fact that he won’t admit to his atrocity, even with all that evidence boils my blood. It’s extremely insulting. He didn’t even lie say “I’m innocent but I’m sorry for the families loss”. He failed to show any humanity.
His mother is the kind of mother that sees his son holding a bloodied knife with the body behind him, and still believes he's innocent because "Well, I didn't see him do it so he gotta be innocent cause I raised that boi."
She reminds me of my ex wife who said in a conversation about the relationship she had with her daughter- ‘if she stabbed someone I’d testify that the person jumped on the knife’. When your child is brought up believing they can do nothing wrong this is the road they’re on.
@marcus. Agreed. His Mom irritates me so much. Some folks pamper their kids and excuse bad behavior .She probably has used the same speech throughout his life to shield him instead of correcting him.
Judge's remarks were perfect for both destroyed families in total disbelief. To think one set of parents raised a child set for law school and the other parents raise a sociopath. How tragic for both.
As guilty as he is, I wouldn't go so far as to say his parents intentionally "raised" a sociopath, but judging by his mother's statement, the seeds were planted for him to become one. She is now faced with the harvest of those seeds and what they've produced.
Love this judge...boy, he saw right through your lies, your heartless self..justice was served. The judge is a very intelligent man who stand for our justice.

I applaud this judge! A wise, thoughtful and discerning man. I am relieved this monster will never be able to harm another person in such a vicious way. I also applaud the witness testimony of the doctor who explained in detail the wounds and how they occurred in such a way that untrained, everyday people like me could understand. Great work by the attorneys who left no stone unturned.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS JUDGE!! He didn't take any crap he moved along this trial and this hit home for him when he spoke about how this criminal drove by the judges office on the night of this poor girl's murder.
Its sad they kept calling him smart and intelligent. He couldnt even complete a sentence. Made no sense in his final statement. Judge did an amazing job A+. He deserves to rot in prison, that's if he doesn't get killed by an inmate that has kids!
Having watched the whole trial (I am from Pennsylvania and graduated Clemson ‘80... and my youngest daughter is going to be a senior at South Carolina) this Judge was exceptional in EVERY aspect of this case. A tribute indeed to the State of South Carolina. I’m a grateful “Yankee” who loves and respects this State. 👍👍
Did he honestly try to claim he was innocent? With her blood all in his car, him on the banks cctv AND his car matching the description to the T, even the girlfriend testifying that it was his car because of the dirt marks, he wishes the state would've done more to *find the real killer*? Love how the judge shot him down and said all law enforcement work leads back to you 1000 times. Not a shred of remorse. What a monster. I hope the rest of all his days are miserable and ever breath he takes hes reminded that he'll never be free again. All the lives he's ruined, all he can think about me "me me me".
Why do people expect remorse from defendent? It was premeditated murder and clearly he knew what he was doing then and didn't have remorse. He wouldn't have it now.
I cannot imagine hearing the words: "Life in prison, for the remaining days of your nature life." It would crush my soul. In his case however it is mercy. Convicted killers should be put to death. Life for a life.
there are things much, much worse than death. having to stare at a concrete wall for the next 80 years with no way out will drive him insane. thats not mercy.
Well this life sentence is nothing compared to the judgement of God. God’s sentence can be hell and it torturous of every second for all eternity . We all have a choice . He made his .
I think if it was me I would choose death. He is only young and will never go out and get drunk, have a family, drive a car or go on holiday. It'll be just prison forever.
He turned around to his defense attorney after sentence , like is this for real what are we going to do. Sorry nate all of your support and your legal pad is gone. It's over for Real.!!!.
Exactly my thoughts! He knows he is guilty but does not want to accept it. If it was a death penalty case, he would have confessed and cut a deal for an alternate sentence.
@@ladyviva7500 you are 💯 correct. The sheer energy it took him to murder her w such a small tool…She made certain we all knew who she was and who stole her from her family.
As always, first thing from the killer’s mouth “I know I’m innocent”! Instead of just apologizing to the victim’s families, accept their fate and keep it moving. With all the evidence pointing to him, his mother still think he’s innocent? If his keys were stollen why in the morning after finding his car all bloody he didn’t call the police? Why after his girlfriend testified and asked him about the blood, he would just say to her, “mind your business”. Again, why not call the police? We all know why Nathaniel. Because it was you that murdered her. GUILTY OF ALL CHARGES. With that being said, I say fukk him and fukk all who think he’s innocent. Hope he rots in prison for eternity. I feel safer with this monster behind bars for life. RIP Samantha. I’m so sorry this evil man did this to you 💔😭
No remorse. Denier is a liar. Sickening. May Rowland be blessed with a long life.
“I wish they would’ve looked at someone else instead of proving my guilt”. This dude is a grade A liar. Absolute trash. He’s guilty and there’s no doubt. He wasn’t speaking from the heart when he proclaimed his innocence. It was rehearsed.
You never saw his face in the car or at the atm machine. The girlfriend had access to his car, his clothes and the murder weapon was found outside her home in the trash.
@@freshstart4423 Why are you so adamant trying to pin this crime on his girlfriend who was at home all night? How exactly was this to have taken place? It was him who picked up Samantha with his car and drove her near to his parent's home where he dumped her body. Also, there was Samantha's DNA under his fingernails, on some of his clothes and blood all over his car. The body shape and stance of the person in front of the ATM is clearly male and not feminine at all. The clothing items are his and I can see his grey hoodie sticking out under his black coat. The same hoodie he wore a few hours later during his arrest. Oh and there was his and Samantha's DNA on the murder weapon.
Murderer: "I know I'm innocent." Me: "*Her* blood in _your_ car, _your_ DNA under *her* fingernails, footage of *her* getting into _your_ car and _your_ knife with *her* blood and _your_ DNA. _I_ know you don't know what the word 'innocent' means."

That Judge was amazing, agreed with every heartfelt word he said, and he has such a compassionate heart for the truth, justice, and for the hurting families. Superb job Judge! Need more Judges like you Sir.
I don't know why I keep watching his "statement" at the start of the video. I think it's because I'm in such disbelief at how he could be claiming innocence after being proven guilty. After watching it more than 10 times I believe I know why and how he can claim his own innocence. It is because he can't admit to himself that he has actually committed the murder. He can't face the fact that he has done such a heinous act. Everything, his mother's pride, his own self worth, his whole identity, is based off the fact that, in his head, he is innocent. If he admits his guilt and apologizes to the family his whole reality comes crashing down and he will have to face his actions. His ego won't let him be vulnerable in the public eye because as a man that's all he has left to defend himself. However, as a the judge so eloquently alluded to, when he is alone in his cell and there is no one left to judge him and no one else to perform for and in the blackness of his own heart he will admit to being a coward and a monster of the most severe degree. His demise will be a silent one: in his own head he will have to wrestle with the fact that he threw his life away on a whim and took away an innocent life and is the furthest thing from a man because he let his animal instinct overtake him in one moment of bloodlust. He failed in every conceivable way the test of being a good human.
Even after the jury said guilty, he is still crying innocent. Well there is a whole prison full singing the same song, so good luck finding anyone who cares.
@UC4589ngLB1jwgU3Ty Your logic makes no sense. did you hear the judge weigh the evidence? someone would have to steal his car and keys, kill the girl, drive and dumb her body, drive to two atms, then return the car and keys before he notices his car is gone

I just can't imagine how scared Samantha must have been when she realised she had fallen into the arms of a monster 👹 good lawd. Rest in peace Sam..

This judge makes me proud to be from Columbia SC. Grace and justice!
