THIS STITCH IS A LIFESAVER: THIS STITCH MUST BE TAUGHT TO EVERONE : PLEASE PASS IT ON : This little bugger of stitch, trying to get it right.... was difficult... I couldn't understand what l was doing wron.... this simple stitch??? Oh yeah !! I rewound the video so many, many times, l got so frustrated.. l was going to give up. Here goes:- The MOST IMPORTANT PART IN THIS VIDEO IS TO INSERT YOUR CROCHET HOOK THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF THE PREVIOUS CHAIN STITCH ::::: THROUGH THE PREVIOUS STITCH .... on the line below. That are the stitches of the previous row that you finished , you only need to do 2 individual stitches. NB:- Do not insert into any hole, either sides of the stitch, this is a mistake. ****THIS is where the mistakes is made, this is where you will get uneven lines & messy work, not fit for crochet. I REPEAT: DO not insert your hook into any SIDE of you stitch or into ANY OTHER HOLE ... your hook must be inserted through the V of the first crochet stitch & then thhs same to the 2nd stitch : Before that: before that: WARNING ::: you do anything different, this is then your mistake! ONLY....INSERT THROUGH THE CENTRE, THE MIDDLE; pierce through that one ONE CHAIN STITCH and then the second chain stitch / there are only 2 stitches AND THIRD INSERT is inserted INTO THE BLUE BLANKET, or the garment you are crocheting. This is how you obtain the neatnese of the stitches... and get the straight stitches & straight lines. Looks great... TIP:- When pulling up the 3rd stitch from your BLUE garment, pull the wool /stitch upwards, straight up into the air, go north. Do NOT PULL ACROSS TO YOUR RIGHT AS WE NORMALLY tend tend to slant .... here it's different Usually we lean slightly HORIZONTALLY. ● Here the STITCHES come out horizontal: NOT VERTICAL. Again for stitch No: 3 / IF YOU GO UP into the air WITH YOUR WOOL, THEN you GET A NEAT AND BETTER STITCH ROW ON your YOUR GARMENT.. a a finer looking edge: f you do this way, then the stiches are more even to look at , they more professional. Really professional. I believe with this stitch one can do many things. I tried to explain best l could: this whole thing is difficult.... every stitch is a problem : but worth it: It's something you NEED TO LEARN.... a LIFESAVER.
