Love this video! This whole video is me literally everyday! I love the realness of the “abandon & start over” explanation: it’s so important. And what a lovely and true life tutorial- and gorgeous result, much love, Mary Helen! 💞💐
And I’ve also found great success with Joico’s “Body Shake” - it’s a hair texturizing spray for fine to medium hair- and it’s a lifesaver for me to thicken my hair for up-do’s (buns especially) Plus, though I’m blonde, I have two friends, one has basically dark brown hair & the other, jet black hair: and there’s absolutely no residue with this product (as opposed to those certain dry shampoos that often leave behind this white cast/dingy appearance.) I hope this helps: it’s helped me tremendously: I too hate back-combing & teasing, so; this is a great ‘work-around’ in my opinion. OH & the hairspray you’re using in this video = THE very best! 👏 👍 You certainly know what you’re doing- no question! Just sharing my personal secrets with you all. Best wishes everyone & MHB ☺️💞 all my love, beauties!
My hair is past my waist and so thick the bun on my head is so heavy! LOL Definitely not pirouette proof! This is the way I do mine, but I never use the french pins. I will have to try them. Maybe they will hold better! Thanks Mary Helen for these tricks.
I appreciate the fact that this is real time! It means one can follow along!
