I know I’ve said this before but Andy you have one hell of an awesome crew and family working with you you have gotta be the proudest father I know your kids are all amazing
Andy at least you don't lose your sense of humor I've never seen you lose your sense of humor you're a hell of a mechanic an engineer
Not much humour a few months back when someone drove into the old John Deere.
@@phil6465I don’t see how he handled that as well as he did!
@@richardjohnson5883 I agree.
Congratulations to Sarah, she wants that interior of the tractor very clean , she left her shoes/ boots on the landing / step , amazing young lady , stay safe .
That's why Andy spends big big money on big tractors!! So his kids run them!! Why? Cause they are the only ones that will take care of them!!!! Congrats Andy!! Your kids are the best!!!
Good operator!
I always took excellent care of the bosses equipment.
Back in 1979 had a 4640 fwa
And an 8630 were the big boys
Also had a 4430, 4230 loader tractor and the pride of the fleet a 4320. No matter what I ran it was cleaned and checked over daily.
The least you can do for the boss. Good equipment, good care.
Great video. I got a kick out of.Sarah hiding behind the RH axle on her phone when the LH tire was being installed. Smart lady right there. :)
If Sarah starts chewing then you'll have to deal with spit bottles all over in the tractor😂😂
Now just swallow...lol
Just rub that in the floor 😂
Holy crap I worked with people who did that pain in the rear end tractors where all full of that shit
You definitely don't want spit cups or bottles. 😊
Wow, that was a marathon, Good seeing Sarah detailing here iron! That's z lot of work handling those big ole shoes!
Good going Sara! Pride in your ride! 🤗
Yep, it sure sucks for non smokers to get into a piece of equipment that has been occupied by a smoker for quite a while. Got to get it ready for her to live in it for a lot of hours.
I used to smoke for a good number of years then I bought a newer truck and didn't want to stink it up so I quit cold turkey and it's been over a year. But anyone I worked for or was with out of respect I didn't smoke in anything. As weird as it sounded even tho I smoked I hated the smell it left. But I still chew, one bad habit at a time 😂
Looking good Andy can't wait to see the blade on the tractor I'm sure it will look sharp
Fascinating to watch the changes to the new tractor. Like being taken along on the whole process. It is what I enjoy, and would like to be in on the fun on the floor, but know I'm too old to more than just think about it.
She’s going to be a wide beast when you get all 4 tires on.
What a great group of dudes you have working for you…
Wow, it was as hard as I thought it would be when it was delivered.
Tough job working on equipment so much larger than the forklift😂
Enjoyed your video Andy thanks nice work. Have a good day
Keep up the good work Sarah. The tractor is lookin nice and clean in side for this year's work. If you want to quit smoking vapeing is more safe than burning holes in the seat.
Every video is so awesome that you guys do this is the one I’ve been waiting for to see what goes into mounting a blade on a tractor
Don't usually run equipment for anybody but myself but they but I do drive truck a little bit and I have driven School bus. Always took care of my rides like they were my own.. that's the kind of people I like to put on my equipment too!!
Thats the difference between the guys and girls the girls like clean equipment a spotless cab i a sign the previous owner too good care of his/her equipment another great job Sarah.
Hey Andy, I love the equipment and what your fam does...from Ottawa Canada...cheers! Great channel and content,,,,,thank-you.
Hi Andy !
Good job Sarah , that cab will be your office very soon , do not chew tabaco .
Good job Andy , i was scare that monster the front get down on the floor whit all the front weight .
Thanks Andy for your time and everybody have a good day at the farm ! 🙋♂️
Lots of work. I am quite sure Shara is not smoking and I sure hope she doesn’t start chewing tobacco. 😂. Very interesting job with that heavy steel. What happened to other fork lift. Thanks
Sarah , good job cleaning the cab.
Good job Andy! Looks like fun.
Always great videos never too long
That 9620r is going to be a beast when you get done with it.
You should ceramic coat it while it's clean
That tiger tool yoke puller changed my life lol. Great tool
Looking forward to seeing how many acres a day the tillage crew can cover this spring.
That Tiger kit made that look easy.
I saw that 9620 at caz with a blade frame, and I had to look for a second. I thought it was yours. Lol it was parked right next to that beautiful 9900.
Your on fire Andy 🔥
the new tractor looks like it's in mucho good condition 👍🏼
JD went 40 years with frames that had matching bolt holes for equipment mounts, but the New crop of genius engineers don't have a clue about keeping older blades, etc to use on new stuff. Very intelligent dumb people. Great video, again!
They do that on purpose. They don't make any money selling a new blade if you can just use your old one.
@@SocietyIsDoomed The blades are aftermarket, as are many other frame mounted attachments, except loaders. It's really just a lack of understanding WHAT they are designing and HOW it is going to be used. I really doubt if many engineers even turn the wheel of what they design, let alone do a full service on it.
You said a mouthful there buddy!@@MorganOtt-ne1qj
Well done Sarah, I'm impressed. 😮 😊
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO ANDY 😊
You should have one of those co. Come in and ceramic coat your tractors i had some equipment done and it looks amazing
Great video thinking ahead to chas the threads on the frame an I see you are using lp on cutting torch 👍🚜
That's the hubs we have on the case stuff and they seem to be easier to remove and install then the deere but give them some time to build up dust and rust and they can still be a pain
Another good one Andy 🚜🇺🇸👍
Tiger tool makes life easier. The u joint puller is a must have if you don’t already have it
Damn Sarahs got a nice tractor
Andy see some of the other you tubers have got that tire attachment for grabbing tires have watched you guys for a while and if anybody could use a demo it’s you guys great content
Wow! nearly 1200 horsepower in that shop!...not so sure Sara is a smoker but it was good of Andy to gently poke fun at her to get her to quit (think it was supposed to be a pun on her sister Alex):)
Another very interesting video Thank you 😊😊😊
Thank you for another great video. Cheers
Great job on the cab Sarah!! Mixed feelings on the chew tho, but I’m a big fan of Copenhagen. 😂😂😂😂😂
Andy that blade is quite an undertaking! I’m sure if you repurpose the weight bracket you’ll have it stronger than new.
Great video.
Good content Andy
You guys should startup the John Deere show that was stared by "Gota go” he was a farmer [as to what not to do] during the days when John Deere use to have movie nights for their customers to see the new lines of John Deere equipment available. Geez I miss though days.
Did you ever imagine you would hav a tractor that big and awesome, that it makes your shop look kinda small and short. Lol. Really tho biggest tractor i have ever seen, modern.
yep those little vacumes are great
if you are not done with this yet looking in from here i think i woutd put the forks under the tire then come off the top the mast with come along to pull the top the tire out where you need it useing the jack under tractor to help with the height in the mix
Side shift on the forklift would be a great time saver.
Andy I was going by a building the other day that looked like it had a 9620R either way it was a john deer.
That Clark fork lift is the ticket. It's a beast of burden!
Since we’re looking at forks, can you do me a favor and check the heels for wear particularly on the old lift. The fork thickness just after the 90 degree bend should be no less than 90 percent of what the vertical thickness measurement is up by the carriage.
Using metric measurements is easier.
I’m Guessing that fork is 60mm thick x 150mm wide. (6,000? lb. Truck)
If the fork is only 53mm right after the bend where the heel meets the floor, they are worn out and should be changed.
Technically torching holes in the tips is a no no too, but I’ve never seen a farm forklift that didn’t have them…
Carry on Andy, Great show!!
Thanks!
ANDY YOU NEED TO BUILD DECENT STANDS (ADJUSTABLE) FOR THOSE TRACTORS YOU ARE GOOD ON WELDING PROJECTS /THEY LAST FOREVER . THE WOODEN BLOCKS YOU COBBLED TOGETHER DONT CUT IT/I WAS EXPECTING THE TRACTOR TO FALL OVER / CHEERS
Hey Andy, it’s election year , you gonna plant a special corn field this year?
I sure hope so
1:41 that happened to me once aswell,
it was a very sad day.
New rules- No smoking in the shop or in any company equipment.
Then you have to deal with 5 minutes of time lost every hour or so while the smoker "relieves themselves".😂
When you were sliding frame in under tractor, I was saying " I hope he see the hood" lol.
Hi Andy watching from Kelowna BC could you not weld all the holes in on the weight bracket and redrill to match holes on the tractor
For the amount you guys handle tires, you ought to buy one of those tire handlers for a skid steer.
Do you think it will be to heavy for some of the fields you’re going to Plow?
if this farming thing dont work out you will make a hell of a mechanic
you're very resourceful..but could you you use straps and the gantrey to hold up to tractor to help?
Tractor is too heavy for it
Andy you work longer than i can stay awake , and the same age 65 .
Dose sahra have opinion on the 9620r also Alex.
Are you gonna do any tillage with the 9620 or is only for the bunk
Is there any sort of wheel clamp/squeezer you could make for removing those wheels one would be mighty useful Andy
Yes, The Tire Grabber....other farm channel have for skid steers, but they don't have towmotors.
Tim almost caught it
Any reason why you didn’t use the mag drill on the forks?
Just asking would it not have been easier to use your mag drill to put the holes in the forks?
Just wonder, what size tires are you running on both of those tractors?
How is serviceability with the blade frame on? Drain plugs etc have holes cut in the frame?
Andy, dangerous stuff going on, burn your shirt, hopefully not your skin. I have known someone did that laying under his car, you can imagine, lost one eye. Be carefully, also with these jack stands, if they get a kick, it´s over!
Big horse in the shop day.
That little strap will not get it done, Jay. Some big wheels in the shed. 🙂
is all that oil from the forklift
Maybe you could find someone to trade with for the weight bracket. How much will the 9620 weigh with the new wheel weights and blade on it?
what if you lubed the axels with the rust proofing stuff that you use for new vehicles.. I forgot what's called..
You could
You alow tinted windows on your tractors?
It always takes a woman’s touch helps that Sarah loves her tractor❤❤❤ nice job Sarah it looks brand new always keep a window open when smoking in there 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 just kidding
Ok so a few videos back when you showed the wheel weights you said they are for Alex's tractor. So is the 9620 Alex's???
It will be while there chisel plowing
Have you ever thought bout getting tractor on track's? Or does it not fit your mileage on the farm
Andy I’ve always thought the articulating tractors looked very sketchy sitting on jack stands up underneath them. Could you not fabricate a “jack stand” that cradled the end of the axle or would that be too much pressure point loaded on them?
The Jack stands were put right were it’s the safest
@@FarmingFixingFabricatingI’m not questioning what you do. It’s just a visual feeling. The idea of a cradle on the end of the axles was an idea to free up most all of the areas you’d need to work.
@1amaker gotcha
you said "she is heavy at the front" were you talking about the tractor 😂
is there a big different between propane and acceltting
Well for some reason I couldn’t get a big enough rose bud for acetylene so I went with adding a propane torch
Is there a reason you went with a grouser blade this time?
Who will run that beast on the bunk?
Charlotte it was her birthday present
That new tractor is a size. Regarding weights, how do you work out how much you need for traction and not going overboard and make the thing too heavy.
Sarah was doing a nice job on the cab. Tell her to smoke a pipe instead and run a hose outside of the cab for her.
What year is the 9620r and how much horse power dose it have.
620 rated HP, with a power bulge to around 650, I think.
cutting holes in the forks?? I assume OSHA does not apply to you?
Uh oh
Andy why didn't you buy a dagleman blade ???
Hi Andy wot horse power is in that traktoer and money is in a new wun
👍
You don't smoke Sarah I smoked for 55 years I've been off them a year. Your upholstery would smell awesome 😮
Oi 👍👍👍👍💯💯💯
HI Will you use never seas.
On some bolts but not all
We are in New York. A pack of named brand smokes. 13 dollars and up. A can of dip. 10 dollars. Great reason to quit here. 😂or not to start.
