i'm crazy about pickup trucks and i think the US models are the best, greetings from Romania. And in my country i saw Tundra 2009 model, F150 2012model and F-250 but they are very rare !!
I live in the Rocky Mountains in the US. The Harz mountains or Schwarzwald in Germany would be "gentle hills" here. The Rockies are more akin to the Alps, just less developed.
Just got the V6 3.6L BigHorn and I couldn’t be any happier . It only has 305hp but it pulls very nice . O-100 around 7 sec . Ride quality is awesome and it’s the best driving among the competitors. Fuel economy is not the one advertised for the Etorque , but is getting better by days ( although I only have about 1000km) on it.
We Forgive You Max! ~Random American Guy FYI: We don't call them "Cars" here in the US... here we call them "Pickup Trucks", "Pickups" or just "Trucks". The math on the inside armrest lid are equations for contractors. These "Trucks" are primarily useful to farmers, contractors, ext but over the years people with little to no need for a truck have taken a liking to them and they have become very popular.
I noticed Doug DeMuro lines throughout the video. It is a good thing tho! Not saying it was intentional ofc, but if it was spontaneous thing then you rock twice as much. Nice video btw, makes me love my truck even more.
The cylinder deactivation came back in 2006 models, but i feel it would do better if it would work 8 to 6 instead, because it could hold the 6 much longer on interstates with easy foot Edit: i'm from Czech living in US now and you right it is too bulky to drive around, I planned something smaller like Explorer, but i ended up with Ram because of Air-conditioning work i do on side where i sometimes have to deliver things and don't wanna be bothered renting every time when it happens. It's convenient if it doesn't bother you to get only 22 mpg. I always got Rams before, pretty happy with them
I had a 2019 Ram Rebel crew cab for a little over a week while my truck was at the dealership for repairs and it became my favorite truck. I am most likely going to trade my vehicle in on one soon.
Max went out for drinks last night and woke up this morning in a forest. He walked round for a while and found a great big truck with a sign on it which said "Max, do a POV review of me. It does not matter if you don't know how to open the bonnet, just talk a load of gibberish". So he did.
There are many of them! In Sweden, Poland and others. They are very popular. If you are driving in Sweden mostly in Stockholm, you will see them every 2min driving by
That same Ram 1500 would cost about $60,000 USD here in the US as well. Also demonstrates why they are so popular in the US, our roads are nice and wide and our petrol is cheap, we also don't have unrestricted autobahn, our highest speed limits are 75-80mph (120-130 km/h)in the western states, but it can be hundreds of miles between towns of decent size in states like Wyoming, Utah or Arizona. The big nearly luxury car interiors have become a big selling point of them in recent years, travel in comfort and tow a big, huge camper trailer behind you or a boat, or whatever else you feel like towing.
This is way too gigantic for our roads. But it would be funny to get this thing, everybody will stare at you, and revving that giant v8 will be funny beside someone with a 1.2 :))
@@onefastslimjim I know, I work in Canada half the year. Huge powerful engines but snail like driving pace 😂. When I come back I feel like I'm approaching the speed of sound.
"We hardly ever see them"... uuuuuhm, pretty sure the RAM 1500 has been the best selling pick-up in the Netherlands and Belgium for a couple of years now, probably taking the Nissan Navara's or Ford Ranger's spot. Also the only real car-like alternative (to me) and the only gasoline powered pick-up.
Well, it's about time for European brands considering pickup trucks as their product lineup. Currently Japanese brands are dominating European market. The only European branded Pickup Truck are Volkswagen Amarok. FIAT, IVECO, DAF, MAN, Citroen, Peugeot, Renault and Mercedes-Benz should grab the opportunity.

The 2500 and 3500 Ram trucks are even bigger.
And have the massive 6.7 liter Cummins diesel with up to 1000lb ft of torque

You should listen to the exhausts of rams with mid and rear muffler delete, they sound awesome.
Come to the US, we see the big boy 3500's ALL THE TIME. We use those with the 6.7 Cummins as daily drivers lol!

Laramie is awesome too. But I suggest you try ones with Cummins. They are beasts. F-150 Raptor is incredible too. My favorite is GMC Sierra AT4.

The Dodge Ram is more comfortable than other trucks because it uses a coil spring suspension rather than a leaf suspension.

I see them a lot of times here in Sweden. RAM’s are probably the most popular one, after that comes the F150. But Sweden is big with wide roads.
