Awesome song choice. Makes me want to revisit those old compilations I made with Townes, Roky Erickson, Nick Cave and whatever else I was really into about 4-5 years ago. There is a song by Townes called Sanitarium Blues which is about the most world-weary song I've ever heard.
Have watched a lot of guitar lesson videos in my day, and taught some, too. Really liked your humble approach, patience, and articulate presentation. Thank you!
Thanks, Mr. Linklater! Very helpful! Also, hope you don't mind me saying, I couldn't help but notice you've got a bit of a Charles Manson look going on - only if he'd been able to just relax some and break down guitar parts on youtube, that is. Much vibes! - Iakov
Hey, thanks, like your teaching style, nice and slow. However, if I can suggest, and not to be critical but in a helpful manner, I know how hard this is as I work on old cars, but if you’re going to teach on Vid… a manicure would be an added advantage for you. Keeping our fingernails clean and trimmed is so important when we play guitar.

Thank you for this. You have a great teaching style and helped make this one click for me having tried with a few other videos unsuccessfully.
