The Glink is very impressive and has proven to be efficient and is very popular. I use it almost every day when staying on the Gold Coast. The only criticism I have is with the all over advertising which limits the view from inside. Thanks for this video Phil.
yes that seems to be the main criticism, all tram systems around australia seem to have these ads plastered on the side. it is very prevalent on sydney on their new lines. canberra not so much i dont think?
I’ve ridden on these ‘G:Link’ trams (or light rail vehicles) before. The most recent time i’ve been on one them was last year (pre-COVID19, obviously).
Phil you fortunate genius to go to QLD (NSW 2) this year but I can wait until next year in August to go up there for my holiday to Bundaberg which will fall in between mid to late August.
Ahhh I might go to Queensland later this year might just wait and see
this year or next year? 😂
Ooo come to Broadbeach south
That's an interesting section of the Gold Coast Light Rail?
G: Link Vlog 7 Parkwood Queensland
Hey Phil did you notice the new smart ticketing readers? They come online from Monday accepting Amex and Master card. Visa coming soon.
Sure did!
Very impressive :)
Who ever keeps disliking transport vlogs has no idea of how much fuel will cost without public transport services.
Nice video!
Thank you :)
cool trams tho I'm not a big fan of the windows. to me it makes it look like it got a big interior and it looks off when looking at the roof

The G Link trams have the same electrical equipment as the Melbourne E and E2 classes (I think)
The Melbourne E, E2 and G:Link Flexity 2 trams are all Bombardier so that wouldn’t surprise me
@@sydneytrainsvlogs yep
@@sydneytrainsvlogs I am only guessing this, they are made by the same manufacturer (as you said) and sound the same.
Do Wynnum Central on the Cleveland line.

Great Video Phil. Where’s the end slate gone?
How many G Link trams are there? The highest number I saw was 18, I was thinking that there may be 20.
18 :)
