I noticed that around the 0:59 mark, the exercise you’re demonstrating looks more like a squat than a deadlift. From what I understand, a deadlift involves more of a hinging movement, while a squat relies more on knee bending. Could someone clarify this?
You don't need anything. You have been programed to believe you do. I eat steak and butter before most of my workouts but not as a pre workout meal, but as my breakfast
Adding a barbell to my dumbbells/kettlebells collection , the pull your feet together really does work that engagement in the sumo squat 😁 could you think about illustrating a seated good morning with free weights- when you’re able, for us home gym types 🙃. You are such an example of you can find a way through adversity 💖
Thank you! Glad you like the cue! When you have a barbell, a seated bench good morning can be a similar option. Until then, you could goblet-hold a dumbbell and perform them seated on a bench - but try with body weight first. Another option would be a kneeling banded good morning. Attach the band to something sturdy and place the band around your hips. The original exercise is doable kneeling with the Smith machine because you have the added stability, so we need to recreate that at home. Hope that helps!

I love all your videos! I’ve been following you for years. Can you recommend different leg/glute exercises for people with compromised backs? I had a micro lumbar micro discectomy two years ago. I hurt my back by training for a bodybuilding competition. 😢😢My back will never be the same, but I am still able to work out on some level. Would love to see more exercises that can target the legs and glutes that don’t impact the back. Thank you!

Hi Erin, are you on HRT if you don’t mind me asking? If I remember well you once mentined pregesterone which gave you water retention. I have just started my HRT journey and would love to know your tips and tricks. 🙏🏻
I’m currently not, but do see a doctor for my thyroid. I get blood work done to monitor my levels and will go on HRT when my levels start to decline. I was prescribed progesterone by my previous doctor and it was much too high of a dose and it turned out that I didn’t need it yet. As soon as I start, I will share with y’all! Thanks!
Hey Erin!! Fabulous ideas for me!! I’m wondering if you can do more leg focused videos…. But, using only dumbbells and a “cheap” cable machine?? In my building, my gym has only dumbbells up to 35lbs and then we have a very cheap/basic cable machine. I need help as I’m used to really good gyms with heavy weights, barbells, smith machine and good cable machines!!! Thank you!❤

Does anyone have tips on how to get my botox to work like hers? I'm so distracted by her beautiful skin, forehead is completely line free. I get botox but my forehead never looks that good 😢😢😢😢
Thank you ❤️ less is better, and I only get my 11’s and upper forehead done. Some movement makes it less robotic looking. Are you using glycolic acid and retinol? Both are great for cell turnover and glow

I have a home gym and don't have the leg extension and curl machine. What could I do instead and hit the same muscles?
Look up reverse Nordic curls for quads and sliding floor curls for hamstrings. Both can be done at home easily ☺️
