This is a great idea to build into a kit. I imagine you could use a spectrogram app for your phone to find the drone frequency. Having the documentation to know how to target that frequency with the NDT system would be helpful. Or, even better, Magnaflow should make their own app to do this tuning.
What if you installed it reversed and capped it? Where the dual pipes are toward the inlet and the single pipe as the outlet. I feel like it acts more of a straight through muffler that way.
566.00 for a muffler and some piping, give me a break.....Dynomax had the VT Muffler, bolt it in and you were done and NO DRONE, without messing around with pipes that may not even fit under your car.. Also the Dynomax didn't cost over 500 for a muffler either.
Dynomax VT mufflers were discontinued due to a defect in design - Do a search and find out why the VT valve design was the weak link (rattles like crazy after use)

My brain keeps reading the INNOVATE huge lettering as OVERHAULIN'. It's awesome that Richard is still at Magnaflow after all this time.
He's a wealth of knowledge! Thanks for watching!
This is great, good job Magnaflow
Thank you for watching!
Make it 304SS and I’ll buy it. Not paying $500+ for 409SS
I bought magnaflow overland muffler system for my 23 canyon, it sure seams to drone on the highway.

Longer tube cancels out lower frequency. This tells me all i need to know about Magnaflow.
Even if he misspoke using quarter wave resonators to cancel sound works.
@@Fix_It_Again_Tony, they absolutely do. I have to fab one for an 80 to 90hz drone. I can't wait!

Not the same thing.
Dynomax and Magnaflow are not even in the same stratosphere....😁😁

Curious how it would sound on a pre-emissions diesel
Prove it!
Magnaflow is better for carbureted engines. Sounds terrible on late model cars
