Thanks for the tutorial brother. I'm currently working on the USS Iowa BB-61 for a friend. His grandfather served aboard her. I was blessed to have trekked across her teak deck while I was stationed in Philly in the early 80's while she was mothballed.
I want to make him happy looking at his grandfather's ship underway. I don't have much to work with, the tinfoil is an amazing technique. I can do it with my unartistical methods, and your help. You da mane, mane. Thanks.

that looks good. I am currently trying different Styles with the water diorams. Until now, I have toilet paper as a base and then many lacquer layers.
The idea with the Styrofoam Underground I find very good. Just rough, moving lake can be displayed so well.
Thanks for your inspiration, I'll try that too.
