It is hard for him to do all that by himself, the dedication, time and amount of detail. I will never be able to afford to pay someone of this caliber so I'm binge watching Techno Barbarian over and over and it never gets old.

@@TheTechnoBarbarian I wouldn't be opposed to watching some longer, less edited down videos with some voice over details in addition to these more condensed versions but that might just be me. Anyway you are bonkers good at these and curious as to what you would do if you were to build a custom house boat.

Never built a van, but I remember seeing many builders saying to ditch the green fuel line for the diesel heater.
They don't last long apparently.
This looks great! I'd love to see a video on how you preserved and reused the u-haul spring to assist on lifting the presumably much heavier full size deck this van has! I imagine it's a massive difference.

Didn't know the outside AC unit could be mounted in that orientation. I guess scroll compressors don't care?
A pressurized hose straight to the tank is not recommended. That's why I did a gravity fill with a vent.

@TheTechnoBarbarian love the build and builds. I have been binge watching all of your videos over the last week. Quick question though, on the exterior generator hook up, do you have to implement some sort of 3 position switch (allows for the truck to run off solar, generator or just no power) for this to work to keep from back feeding the solar system and batteries?
The Growatt inverter/charge controller does all the switching automatically. It can be configured in a variety of ways depending on the situation.
Im beginning to wonder if it took longer to edit the video than build the Palace o' Former U-Haul :)

Where can i find the white boards you have for ceiling? I never see them at lowes or home depot. What are they called?
I get them from Lowes they are usually hidden under/near the trim section. They are called "Smooth White Hardboard Marker Board Wall Panel"

Who has a winch in the kitchen?? Did you build this for yourself or to sell? How much would you sell it for?
This was a client build, everything was built to customer specs/features requirements. If I were to do another one it would run $60-65k total parts+labor.
