Just installed the SL1 Low Beams on my 17 Forester yesterday, and LOVE THEM! Such a drastic improvement from factory. Now I just gotta wait 2-4 weeks for the rest on back-order :)

What made you get LEds over HIDs ? Don’t know which to get lol
Miko I've never owned HIDs, so I don't have any thing to compare. I just did some research and felt that the LEDs would be a better investment in the long term. Compared to the stock bulbs, these SL1s ROCK!
Very interested in these for my 2018 Crosstrek Premium. I wish you showed the beam pattern before and after more closely.

Got any video of your LEDs in a projector housing? I have a 2006 Impreza.
While we don't have any photos of these on a 2006 Impreza, we do have a good number of comparison photos on the website listings of these in different style housings. The SL1 is a great option to replace your halogen bulbs with!
I would like to do this but I would also like to change the fog lights to led as well so that it does not look odd since I normally have my fog lights on

Hello Fred! As long as it is an 08-19 model year with a removable halogen style bulb, these will work just fine! :)
So when running DRL, are the high beams at full brightness? I had this issue with a pair of cheap LEDs i got on amazon and had to put my stock bulbs back in.
Yes, there doesn't appear to be a plug-and-play premium bulb or budget bulb on the market that dims. It's an unfortunate design by Subaru.

Which is brighter ? Led or HID ? What really is the distinctive difference between them
+Miko Generally, HIDs will provide more raw output. However, our SL1 LEDs are designed to provide more focused output down the road where you need it, with minimal glare compared to HIDs. Unlike HIDs, LEDs also have an instant on/off and a more straight forward installation.
Diode Dynamics I know it’s preference but what would be recommended and suited best for a 2012-2014 Toyota Camry Low Beam lights , HID or LED?
+Miko Generally, HIDs will perform better in a projector application. However, with more raw output and better lumen maintenance, the SL1 is an upgrade in projectors too. They won't provide as much output as an HID, but they also won't add glare, and they're instant on, with a much greater lifespan and simpler installation. For projectors, it's still a choice between the two, but we prefer the LED! More modern, simple, and reliable.
