I enjoy all the videos as they are so clear when one follows them from the beginning and backing it up with the book alongside. I have never followed any subject on You Tube , but this is an exception. Thanks Dylane, I am lucky to have discovered you .
Pour former la 2e personne du singulier à l’impératif on utilise la 1re personne du singulier à l’indicatif présent et on supprime le pronom personnel sujet. La terminaison des verbes en -er est donc e, les autres verbes se terminent en s. En prenant en référence la deuxième personne du singulier au lieu de la première on crée automatiquement 85 % d'exceptions vu que 85 % des verbes en français sont du premier groupe (donc en -er). Pas malin !
I have a doubt😢..you said to drop the "s" from "tu"..like for example Depeche- toi, but why there are verbs that still keep the s like..prends le train, dors tôt, prends- toi un livre..I get confuse.. does it only happens with er verbs?
Hi dylane, Great video!! Thank you so much. I had a question: so even if you are speaking informally using vouloir in the imperative, you have to use veuillez?
I didn't know that vouloir in the imperative only use (veuillez) so if I want to say please wait 1 veuillez patienter 2 but if you want to say it in formal you have to change it to patiente s'il te plaît
A question please Dylane on the conditional. I hadn't thought about the connection of the conditional with Devoir, vouloir, and pouvoir being followed by the infinitive. Is it mandatory for good french ? eg Je voudrais deux bières. Should it always be . Je voudrais avoir deux bières . PS C'est impossible pour vous d'avoir l'air en désordre !!
That is something that I should have included for sure. You can totally say "Je voudrais un café" - "J'aimerais un verre d'eau". I will add a few sentences to the book 😃 Merci Mike!
I look incredibly messy in this video, sorry for that 😅

Another great video I really enjoyed it
Hie, is suivre an irregular verb, is also irregular in imperative?, if yes, what's the conjugation please
Mam should we not add exclamation mark after we conjugate it
J' aime votre cours de francais
why is the s removed for 'regarde' but there is an s on 'attends'?
That's the rule :/
If you explain it for me
I am thankful of you Miss
Merci :)
Is there a rule for when we use a preposition in the impératif? Like specific verbs? Merci beaucoup pour votre leçon ❤️❤️
Stephanie not that I know of but I will dig into it in the next few days and let you know 🙂

Only for verbs ending in -er :)
helped me cram before my french exam..😅😅
Hi dylane, Great video!! Thank you so much. I had a question: so even if you are speaking informally using vouloir in the imperative, you have to use veuillez?
In this case we use another tense, for example:
- Veuillez rentrer à l'intérieur = Rentre à l'intérieur
I hope it helps :)
Hello Miss
I hope that you are fine
For imparative negation
We use from 3person singular or you( formal)
Ne regarde pas or
Ne regardez pas
Correct :)
Where can I get the book in France?
On my website for the PDF, on Amazon for the paperback version :)
I didn't know that vouloir in the imperative only use (veuillez) so if I want to say please wait 1 veuillez patienter
2 but if you want to say it in formal you have to change it to patiente s'il te plaît
thank you so mmuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccccccchhhhhhhhhhh
