I know this comment is super old, but I literally think this every time I see this video. I was in a relationship for 4 years and was just not happy towards the end of it, but I held on because I couldn't imagine not being with that person/how my life would change/being with someone else in the future. Jenna being with Julien post-Max and being the happiest she's ever been finally convinced me that there's probably a Julien around my corner.

Just an idea cause i love your vlogmas and was looking forward to it, but whether you do it or not happy holidays hope you enjoy them xxxx

I sure do miss Jenna’s vlogmas. But honestly, the fact that she is having some well deserved time off really makes me glad. Jenna brings so much joy to the word all year long, so I just want her to be happy and to enjoy the festive season without any vlogmas-pressure from us. Same goes for Julien, but he vlogs on the daily/weekly as it is so... yeah he can do whatever he wants as long as he’s happy and festive too, no added pressure fam. And that’s all I have to say about that.
Honestly, its been a while since I've gotten to smile and laugh like I did today from this video, this year will be the first Christmas since my older brother left us (who passed away in late June of this year) and it's been increasingly stressful and difficult dealing with his loss and the hole he left behind. It's just been since what feels like forever since I've been able to genuinely smile and thank y'all for that. He was always apart of our family traditions and it hurts me to know that when I go home from college for the holidays, he will not be here to celebrate them. Which hurts. Aww this made me feel so warm in my heart. I've been away from my family for years now. Back home, we had a family tradition (one of the very few that our family had, which made it so special) to decorate a tree for New Years celebrations. We had a bunch of old, classic Russian ornaments. Some were bought on my birthday, others were bought on each of two of my brothers birthdays, and some were passed down from my grand parents. It was always the time for our family to get into the holiday spirit, and cherish the little time we could spend with each other on those holidays. I have so many good memories associated with decorating a tree with my family that I haven't re-lived in such a long time... Seeing Jenna and Julien decorate the tree together, and Jenna talking about all of the ornaments from her childhood made me quite emotional. I'm literally tearing up right now. Happy Holidays, guys, and thank you for once again being the source of happy thoughts.
Don't let your children (The dogs and Ad) ingest that white stuff on the tree!! It could be toxic for them. My family doesn't get flocked trees because we have 5 cats and 2 dogs and it's too risky. Just check the box for it and see if it says anything about it!!❤️
Awww, yeah! I love decorating for Christmas, even though no one ever comes over to see it. We put up our tree weeks ago, because my 3 year old has been obsessed with the Curious George Christmas movie lately, and demanded that we decorate early. I didn't mind too much, since it made him happy, haha. I love your tree! We had a tiny version of that kind of tree last year, and it DEFINITELY makes a mess, especially with a toddler. I can't even imagine how bad it would be with dogs. Good luck!

This was such a nice podcast honestly. I listened while decorating my family's Christmas tree while they're all at school and work. Since becoming Muslim I don't celebrate so much anymore, but I use it as a special time for family. Your podcast was the perfect thing, like I wasn't bombarded with Christmas carols and stuff but felt like I was just chilling with friends and glittery ornaments. Ok the part where Jenna gets Julien a menorah is so cute and it melts my heart, she wants to include him and he asks if they can do that, and she’s like “Of course” and omg they are so cute.
I love that they don’t do that ornament theme shit like other people. They do random store bought ornaments and childhood ornaments, that’s what my family does and I feel like it gives the tree character!
My parents got divorced around Christmas last year so we lost that house. Being able to watch y'all set up a tree made me feel a little better about the holidays. I won't be setting up a tree for years to come because my apartment is too small and I can't afford it, but this is nice. Thank you
I grew up in a super quiet/patient family and I still, to this day, am the loudest/most impatient of all of us. So I would lead present unwrapping by telling people what they could open when (I don't do this anymore, my mom let me when I was little because it was cute but now that I'm 20, it would just be overbearing) and then we would go around the circle and take turns opening gifts. I was always so confused as to why my mom loved watching us open gifts and didn't care too much about her own, but now that I buy gifts for other people, I love watching people open gifts way more now too. Giving just feels so good, there is nothing like watching someone open something that they wanted but would never get them self. I think my favorite memory was last year, my cousin (who is 14) wanted to buy her mom a nespresso coffee machine because the keurig broke and my aunt would always go to the store just to stare at the pretty coffee makers. So my mom helped my cousin buy it for her and when she opened it, she cried because she was so grateful and it was the cutest thing that I have ever seen :)

I love Christmas, and right now I am finishing up a semester abroad in France, and I cannot wait to go home and decorate and be with my family. Something I love about watching these podcasts is how comfortable they are. Comfortable with each other, comfortable with being themselves (and more so, showing that to the internet), all around comfort. We just decorated our trees last night! We have two trees, one is all authentic Disney ornaments and the other is all the family hand me down ornaments. From my first ornament to my youngest’s sister ornaments. Also my parents first ornaments. So we have 70 and 50 year old ornaments in the tree. ☺️

This may be sappy but this is one of my favorite podcasts because, as a lonely person, this made me feel like I was spending a cozy holiday evening with friends :)

I love that they don’t do that ornament theme shit like other people. They do random store bought ornaments and childhood ornaments, that’s what my family does and I feel like it gives the tree character!

My parents got divorced around Christmas last year so we lost that house. Being able to watch y'all set up a tree made me feel a little better about the holidays. I won't be setting up a tree for years to come because my apartment is too small and I can't afford it, but this is nice. Thank you

I grew up in a super quiet/patient family and I still, to this day, am the loudest/most impatient of all of us. So I would lead present unwrapping by telling people what they could open when (I don't do this anymore, my mom let me when I was little because it was cute but now that I'm 20, it would just be overbearing) and then we would go around the circle and take turns opening gifts. I was always so confused as to why my mom loved watching us open gifts and didn't care too much about her own, but now that I buy gifts for other people, I love watching people open gifts way more now too. Giving just feels so good, there is nothing like watching someone open something that they wanted but would never get them self. I think my favorite memory was last year, my cousin (who is 14) wanted to buy her mom a nespresso coffee machine because the keurig broke and my aunt would always go to the store just to stare at the pretty coffee makers. So my mom helped my cousin buy it for her and when she opened it, she cried because she was so grateful and it was the cutest thing that I have ever seen :)
I love how even so long into y'alls relationship you're still learning so much about each other. It's truly beautiful to be able to see y'all grow together! Much love!!!

I think this is one of my favorite podcasts since the segue-off. I love Christmas, and right now I am finishing up a semester abroad in France, and I cannot wait to go home and decorate and be with my family. Your podcast made me feel a little less lonely, and reminded me of all the traditions and memories I have at home at Christmastime. Thanks guys!

Something I love about watching these podcasts is how comfortable they are. Comfortable with each other, comfortable with being themselves (and more so, showing that to the internet), all around comfort. It's so nice to see people who don't feel the need to dress up for every video. Jenna in particular, obviously is so okay with just filming as she is, and Julien loves her so much for it. We just decorated our trees last night! We have two trees, one is all authentic Disney ornaments and the other is all the family hand me down ornaments. From my first ornament to my youngest’s sister ornaments. Also my parents first ornaments. So we have 70 and 50 year old ornaments in the tree. ☺️
Well opening one present and playing with it before the other ones make every present so special and makes you so much more appreciative.

omg pls decorate xmas cookies/make gingerbread houses or do those create your own ugly xmas sweater kits (possibly tipsy or not up to u) and tell xmas stories of your childhood and just talk ab whatever ! Honestly loved this episode of the podcast, it was super chill
