    How do you think the video quality would be for a beginner in recording content? I'm looking at this camera for a road trip in the national parks mainly for stills and know it will definitely get the job done, but would like to the option to use it as a face camera for gaming content.

      Hello,
      I will do my best to answer your questions. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have more.
      Video Quality for Beginners:
      I shot a vlog-oriented video with the Tokina 11-20mm and another video with the Tokina 24-70mm on a tripod while on a ferry. (I have included the links at the bottom of this comment.) These are good examples to check out. If you already have the Nikon D5200, you can try it out, but I believe there are better alternatives for video.
      Road Trip in National Parks:
      For landscape photography, I have no complaints about the Nikon D5200 (though more megapixels would be nice). However, shooting animals, especially birds, is challenging due to poor autofocus. I often resort to manual focusing for bird photography, sometimes I missed the focus which is disappointing when reviewing my photos after trips. Additionally, the lack of built-in Vibration Reduction is a downside. The built-in microphone performs poorly in windy conditions, and I don't like the quality at all. (You can check out the Rode Wireless ME video for comparison.)
      Face Camera for Gaming:
      I've never tried connecting the D5200 to a computer, but I can mention a few limitations: it has recording time limits, performs poorly in low light, and might overheat(never experienced that). It's better to confirm if it's possible to connect it to a computer for recording sessions.
      Summary:
      Personally, I find the video quality of the D5200 lacking by 2024 standards. That's why I'm waiting for an update to the Nikon Z6/7 III if they announce it.
      Thank you for your comment ✌️

    The Nikon initially came out with AF-S lenses, and then AF-P lenses. On the AF-P, focus hunting is reduced. Great content out there. Keep posting videos with the D5200.

      Thank you for your support! I haven't tried AF-P lenses before, but after your useful information, I'll definitely give them a try if I get the chance.
      I find that the D5200 lacks a bit for video work, but it's still a nice tool for stills with proper exposure. I'll continue posting and stick with my camera until Nikon announces the Z6/Z7 III with an improved autofocus system.

    Good content, I'm still a beginner and want to learn on a limited budget, which one do you recommend between Nikon D3300 and Nikon D5200 to buy, thank you..

      Hello thank you for your comment.
      I didn’t use/test a Nikon D3300. With its articulated screen Nikon D5200 looks more convenient for my use case scenarios.
      However I don’t have chance to compare image quality between each other. Also price and condition (if you are looking for used one) is a big factor in your decision. I hope you will choose the best one for you✌️

    hey just brought this camera and wondered what you use to edit the photos?

    • @onenonestudio
      @onenonestudio  Місяць тому +1

      Hey! I'm happy to hear that. I hope you will shoot amazing photos with that 📸.
      If I'm editing up to 10 images, I'm using Photoshop. I think Photoshop is much more capable, and I'm very familiar with that program.
      For archiving and multiple edits, I prefer Lightroom.
      Also, if you don't want to spend money on subscriptions, you can try Nikon software called NX Studio. (I haven't used NX Studio for years, by the way, so my advice is limited on that.)

    Merhaba Türk bir takipçin olarak yorumumu da Türkçe yazmak istedim D5200 için detaylı bilgilendirme videosu çeker misin acaba internette D5200 tanıtan kimse yok yararlı bir video olacağını düşünüyorum videonun amacı olarak daha çok makinenin ayarlarını ele alırsan daha güzel olabilir.

    Can it transfer video with wifi or just photo

    • @onenonestudio
      @onenonestudio  Місяць тому

      Hello, as I know Nikon D5200 doesn’t have an internal WiFi connection compatibility’s. Wireless adapter sold separately and I have never had a chance to use that. I have UA-cam search for you and found few videos about that adapter. Also I didn’t know that adapter still supported with recent operating systems.

    How can any camera be outdated, a real photographer don´t care.

    • @onenonestudio
      @onenonestudio  2 місяці тому

      I think, I said in the video, the D5200 is a bit lacking in video performance, like autofocusing and low-light (ISO) performance. But I respect your opinion; the best gear is what suits a ‘real photographer’ best. Thanks for your comment✌️

    5200 SERIES ALL Piece of crap cameras..hard to operate, confusing, weak, small. get a Nikon D800

    • @onenonestudio
      @onenonestudio  Місяць тому

      I bought Nikon D5200 brand new as an entry-level camera 11 years ago, and despite its drawbacks, it has served me well over the years. The main reason for choosing the Nikon D5200 was its price at the time. I learned, tried, and experimented with it, capturing nice pictures along the way.
      Yes, there are some drawbacks, and now I'm looking for an upgrade to a mirrorless Nikon, probably a Nikon Z6 III if they announce one. I would also love to test a D850, but the secondhand market in Turkey is quite hard to navigate. It's very difficult to find clean gear at a reasonable price.
      I hope this channel will grow, allowing me to try out as much gear as possible.
      Thank you for your comment ✌️

      @@onenonestudio To anyone starting out or wanting to upgrade. a Z6 is worse than a D5200 both like toys.
      After owning & shooting daily various Nikons I think the best pro or amateur all pre owned package is my 36.3mp NIKON D800 $600 mint.
      The Nikon 70-200mm F4 G ED VR lens $300
      & a Nikon 24-85mm G ED VR2. $200
      I use MPB they have 6 mo. warranty.
      For VIDEO-- Best way to go is a Panasonic Full HD HC V785 CAMCORDER w/ SD card... brand new only $300
