I don't think any of us were expecting a Bucciemon Dark Digivolution *and* a Dark Mode Change/Slide Evolution. I could see Ken as the Digimon Emperor slapping a Dark Spiral on them, Wormmon finally matching his own cruelty.
Tikbalangmon is full of so many references, I love it! Devimon, WereGarurumon, SkullMeramon, Patamon, Barraka. The artists did amazing again this time, and such great creative designs.
Tikbalamon and Kimerawomon would be the leaders of the Digimon known as "the lost", they hate working together but go after the digidestine because they feel abandoned and hate how other Digimon get to have a partner and want to be their partners. each of these lost leads an army or gang of dark Digimon connected to other dark forms. (just a little story Tikbalamon I see being the only one forcibly corrupted by the others as their partner is still looking for them- kinda like a red hood from DC situation) love the lore you come up with seriously need a karn digishow.
they will targeting other lost digidestine (like maicoonmon,morphomon,and ukkomon's partner) like happent for first digidestine or from digimon survival,and rule them to dark sea as sacrifice ritual

Moltendramon, Jiangshimon, Hellhoundramon, Anzumon, Exhaustmon, Valenciamon, and Abandollmon/Epomismon should be adapted for future Digimon TV seasons, movies and games. I can see them being used as monsters of the week, minor antagonists and enemy troops, as well as horror movie villains. They could be in a sequel to Ghost Game, or another supernatural season, or be hinted at in the Adventure reboot continuity's upcoming season(s) if they finally explore the Dark Ocean further than they did in the original series continuity! 8/10!!🦇

Wow. Absolutely astonishing. I liked everyone, all of them made sense, all of them looked cool and had awesome concepts. But Abandollmon and its... full concept was just breathtaking. The art, the idea, Karn's delivery and how the unique element was presented. That one was an all-time highlight! ...and it came from the armor evolution I always forget about and never really care if it isn't included in a video. I'm glad you guys made that one happen.

All of these are amazing! My favorite has to be a tie between Kimerawomon for combining various digimon into a humanoid figure and Epomismon for its monstrous form and nightmarish details. Oh yeah, and Happy Halloween man!

A corruption of courage is hard to explain, as courage is simply acting in spite of fear. Tai's example was recklessness, but there's more to it than simply being stupid. Arrogance as in "forgetting your fears" could certainly be considered a corruption of courage.
A corruption of friendship would be better represented as an abusive "friendship", something like what manga Joey was dealing with before he met Yugi. Somebody dragging you into trouble and abandoning you to face the consequences of their actions alone, not simply abandoning the very idea of comradery.

It was all Parasyte for me, but honestly those two have such similar premises with such fundamental differences to the theme and narrative that the comparison absolutely tracks. Mind you, the nightmarish chest/ back mouth, eyes showing up wherever they please, that definitely leans more towards the Thing’s aesthetic

I have been busy so I have not been able to comment lately, so I have been watching the videos while doing stuff, but I wanted to comment on this. I love the art, and this is amazing.
Jiang Shi is another one of those japanese myths that im surprised hasnt been incorporated into the franchise yet and mixing it with the plant life elements of Shurimon is a really cool idea
This honestly just makes me wonder what if in the adventure canon someone tried making a Dark DigiDestined group with their own dark crests to rival our main group. Like, instead of Courage, it was Recklessness with a guy and his Digimon that just rush into things and attack wildly as they're just enjoying the destruction and chaos. Friendship was opposed by Malice, someone who purposefully gets close to others just to hurt them and enjoys watching them suffer. Love could have Obsession where it's no longer about how the other person feels and just so long as they have their attention while demanding that it's the same as love. Knowledge could be Deceit, Sincerity/Purity opposed by Subjugation, Reliability/Sincerity faces off with Oppression, Hope has to deal with Naivety, while Light could be Denial. And throw in Kindness, so maybe Wraithful or Dismissive. Basically, the point of them wouldn't be to be the opposite of the crest in question, but to be the misguided/twisted/tainted version of it sorta like how we saw Tai originally have Greymon become SkullGreymon. (Like being so reliable that you never allow anyone to do things for themselves, too hopeful that you don't stop and think of consequences, focus too much on the light or good that you deny the existence of flaws, negatives or shadows.) Kindness was tricky as it's just overnice, but it could go so many directions like being manipulative, secretly being resentful for not getting enough reciprocated, or just dismissing people dealing with heavy situations to make yourself feel good. Just an idea the video got me thinking about and what partners this group could have using existing Digimon. I think it'd be interesting because some of them would start off good with traditional good Digimon, but kinda fall and lose their way before joining this dark counterpart group.
Magmadramon and Anzumon and honestly all of these designs need to made real. SOO GOOD! (also love the idea that all werebeast inspired digimon must have belts and jeans)
I like how Abandollmon/Epomismon are like the Green variant of Bucchimon. Then again, it was probably just used as a contrasting color so it didn’t look all bland
It was actually gonna be blue at first, but I didn’t vibe with that as well as I thought, so green happened both for contrast, and to reference Bucchimon 2.
These are really cool. Weirdomon as busy as ever. But I'm excited because i'm next in line for a commission with them. They will be doing a Crest of Love inspired Tyrannomon Ultimate and Mega. Can't wait. But now after seeing this video, I now want to think of a dark evolution as well. Yes, yes, technically Dark Tyrannomon already fits that bill, but I want to take it to the extreme because I imagine that a regular Dark Tyrannomon could still be viable as a partner digimon. Making it not quite as unhinged as I want then.
Well DarkTyrannomon is just the Virus-Attributed variant of the Data-Attributed Tyrannomon, so there isn't much between the two besides a more Aggressive or Violent behaviour - so you're completely justified in wanting something more Twisted for the Digimon...
I think a good spooky movie for 02 would be that a viral program has taken the Armor Digieggs and created the Dark Armors, who are then programmed to hunt down the Digimon that last used its respective Digiegg along with the tamer connected with the Digimon, resulting in a armor clash
This was very cool; have you ever thought to do an episode that is inspired by the Lantern Corps of DC, or the Infinity Gems of Marvel? I feel like both can be great digivolution styles. ESPECIALLY if you choose to give each digidestined from Adventure, a specific lantern ring. Like Tai with Green, Matt with Indigo, Mimi with Red, Sora with Sapphire, Joe with Yellow, TK with Blue, Izzy with Orange, and Kari with Ultraviolet? These are just placements I was thinking of, but you might be able to come up with better

I can make it worse- truegreen7 had one to the artists on for their Halloween special make an evil substitute doll Pokémon over whe weekend, so apparently the theme this year is dolls of doom.
@Karn_EX a better name for Abandollmon/Epomismon might be Beldamon, reffering to the Beldam or "other mother" from the movie Coraline (which is also sort-of a Halloween movie tbh). The Beldam used FAKE KINDNESS to lure in children to its domain and trick them, and used a DOLL to spy on Coraline as well. Also her true form was a SPIDER-LIKE MONSTER, which Epomismon also resembles.
Generally yes, but Beldam is an actual word that I wanted to avoid using since it implies the digimon is an entirely different creature than it was. That and admitedly Abandollmon was a fake name given to throw the other artist’s off, since I hadn’t revealed to anyone but Karn what I was doing with Epomismon until it dropped.
Another great video although I wish this was released on Halloween for my birthday turn 39. Hopefully you'll have another video for Halloween please 🙏.

Magmadramon and Anzumon and honestly all of these designs need to made real. SOO GOOD! (also love the idea that all werebeast inspired digimon must have belts and jeans)

I like how Abandollmon/Epomismon are like the Green variant of Bucchimon. Then again, it was probably just used as a contrasting color so it didn’t look all bland
It was actually gonna be blue at first, but I didn’t vibe with that as well as I thought, so green happened both for contrast, and to reference Bucchimon 2.
These are really cool. Weirdomon as busy as ever. But I'm excited because i'm next in line for a commission with them. They will be doing a Crest of Love inspired Tyrannomon Ultimate and Mega. Can't wait.
But now after seeing this video, I now want to think of a dark evolution as well. Yes, yes, technically Dark Tyrannomon already fits that bill, but I want to take it to the extreme because I imagine that a regular Dark Tyrannomon could still be viable as a partner digimon. Making it not quite as unhinged as I want then.
Well DarkTyrannomon is just the Virus-Attributed variant of the Data-Attributed Tyrannomon, so there isn't much between the two besides a more Aggressive or Violent behaviour - so you're completely justified in wanting something more Twisted for the Digimon...
I think a good spooky movie for 02 would be that a viral program has taken the Armor Digieggs and created the Dark Armors, who are then programmed to hunt down the Digimon that last used its respective Digiegg along with the tamer connected with the Digimon, resulting in a armor clash
Tikbalamon was a terrific direction to take that Dark Digivolution!
This was very cool; have you ever thought to do an episode that is inspired by the Lantern Corps of DC, or the Infinity Gems of Marvel? I feel like both can be great digivolution styles. ESPECIALLY if you choose to give each digidestined from Adventure, a specific lantern ring. Like Tai with Green, Matt with Indigo, Mimi with Red, Sora with Sapphire, Joe with Yellow, TK with Blue, Izzy with Orange, and Kari with Ultraviolet? These are just placements I was thinking of, but you might be able to come up with better
Absolutely love these! I might tweak Kimerawomon's name to Kimerwomon to make it a tiny bit smoother sounding.

*Courage: Arrogance* - It's often difficult already to tell when one is being _very Brave or extremely Reckless,_ so it'd be quite simple to misguide Courage into Arrogance. Quite simple to return to normal, but a Powerful Ally while it lasts...
*Friendship: Desperation* - The easiest way to corrupt the value of Friendship is to simply *deprive one of it.* Their attempts to find it become more and more deranged, as _they go Insane from their own Desires..._
*Love: Hatred* - The only way to properly corrupt Love is _to have one believe they were never Loved in Return._ Love becomes Resentment, then turns into a Hatred that _prevents them from Loving again out of their fear of Heartbreak..._
*Knowledge: Ignorance* - *Ignorance is Bliss,* right? Not having to deal with the Pressures of being the one Smart enough to handle everything while their Friends get through life on *Dumb Luck* - how is that Fair for You? Aren't you Envious of that Lifestyle everyone else seems to have and thrive in but *_you can't Understand?!_*
*Sincerity: Impurity* - Very easy to Corrupt, as once the victim's Innocence is Stained, it's near impossible to regain. Then it's only a matter of nurturing their sudden new Cravings to mold them however you want...
*Reliability: Cowardice* - Surprisingly Difficult to corrupt, but once done will turn one into *a perfectly Submissive Pawn...* *_for Someone Else,_* as _they'll inevitably Betray anyone they work under to reach the Top..._
*Hope: Despair* - Both near Impossible to corrupt and one of the most difficult to Restore, the only method is to *literally remove all semblance of Hope from them,* by erasing everything that gave them that Hope - only then will you convert them. Also the most Unpredictable once transformed, but _still worth doing just to remove their Interference from your plans..._
*Light: Darkness* - Only possible to corrupt by Flooding their Heart with Darkness, until their inner Light refuses to Fight Back against it. Also _quite easy to ReSpark without constantly feeding them with more Darkness,_ so it's a very High-Maintenance process - but the Devotion from them and their inability to threaten your Ambitions is well worth the Effort...
*Kindness: Vengeance* - The best way to corrupt Kindness is to convince them _that nobody is Deserving of theirs,_ then teach them *the Pleasure of sadistically Punishing all who've wronged them* _(essentially Everyone)_ - can easily turn on you if you're unprepared, but once you've Left, *they'll never want to change back!*

Magmadramon looks pretty intimidating, and Hellhoundramon and Exhaustmon are not Digimon I wanna meet, Valenciamon would give the creeps from the deep ocean nightmares for life.
I could easily see Exhaustmon even becoming a TyrantKabuterimon eventually! But, hey, at least Epomismon isn't nightmare fuel (much), that would have been terrible otherwise!

@Karn_EX a better name for Abandollmon/Epomismon might be Beldamon, reffering to the Beldam or "other mother" from the movie Coraline (which is also sort-of a Halloween movie tbh). The Beldam used FAKE KINDNESS to lure in children to its domain and trick them, and used a DOLL to spy on Coraline as well. Also her true form was a SPIDER-LIKE MONSTER, which Epomismon also resembles.
Generally yes, but Beldam is an actual word that I wanted to avoid using since it implies the digimon is an entirely different creature than it was. That and admitedly Abandollmon was a fake name given to throw the other artist’s off, since I hadn’t revealed to anyone but Karn what I was doing with Epomismon until it dropped.
Better? Probably not. But certainly another idea :)
