Stock fans are enough to get you started, first I would advise you to upgrade your CPU cooler, preferably get an AIO, that way you can mount it up top and have 3 exhaust fan at the same time, with 1 shot you got rid of extra set of fans and better cooling for the CPU, thus needing no more fans 😁 If you go the AIR cooling way, consider adding at least 1 x 140mm fan up top, but with that CPU I would suggest an AIO, 360 size is preferred, but 240 or 280 will work just fine

Great review! Two questions. 1) would installing two 120 fans on top of the psu shroud still create positive pressure in the case? 2) what is the digital clock that you have in this video? I would love to buy one of them. Thanks!!
@@LevelUPGamingTech Thanks for the quick reply! Also, i am building a computer w/ the 216. What fans do you recommend for above the shroud? I watched your vid again and did see/hear what fans you said.
I used AL v2 and SL v2 from Lian Li, both of them for 2 similar builds, but anything from Lian Li works, I started using their fans somewhere from the SL-INF series for personal builds, I don't regret it at all 👍👍 @@Janocte88
Do they have SATA or not, I lost track now, if they do connect SATA cable then and then connect the RGB cable to your motherboard or LianLi controller if you use one. Also since they do have a controller in the I/O up top, check to see if there are maybe some loose wires and reconnect them if needed
Are you happy with the noise levels? I'm currently running my system in a define c which has incredible sound dampening with noctua fans. So I hear nothing. However that's also a 8700k which had a tdp 95w. My new build is a 12900k so thermals will be an issue in that case. Obviously I will not achieve zero noise like I do now but would you say the 160mm fans here are bearable under load?
It s a fantastic case, but it has one problem. For example my power supply can not be mounted with the fan up, only down. Or at least I didn t know how to do it
Fan down, PSU intakes air from outside the case and exhaust from the back, logic 😀 If fan is up on the PSU if will battle with the GPU and practically will be cooled with hot air. So once again PSU fan down 😀
No dust magnetic filter on top is a pain fir my dusty room + you have to pay extra 20e to buy aftermarket the front dust filter... :( otherwise is Great!
One question please, so is all the argb controlled from the controller comes in the pc case, for this setup on the video, or should I need to get an additional controller too?
Stock fans will work fine if you have no extra fans. If you have an extra 120mm fan I highly recommend installing one above the PSU shroud. Thermal right has a 3 pack of good fans for 12$ if you need em. TL-C12C-S is the model.
do i need to add extra fans to this case, or are the stock fans good enough for cooling? im planning to build my new pc in this case, nothing special, just r5 5600, rx 6700xt, with amd stock cooler/buy an air cooler. i was just wondering if i need to add extra fans or the stock fans are good enough to cool my system
Hi, wondering if the air cooler orientation will be cool enough if I’m just using the stock front fans and back 140 fan? I have the i7 13700kf and rtx 4070 with the deepcool ak620 cpu cooler
@@LevelUPGamingTech I was thinking about doing that, my only concern is that only doing one fan at the top would leave a gap, since the cover is mesh, and potentially cause turbulent airflow. And I feel like two 140mm fans at the top would cause negative pressure. I know Lian li includes a metal piece to cover the gap, but it doesn’t seem big enough if I only use 1 extra 140mm
216 has more airflow, that is for sure, those massive front fans are like turbines, 500 DX is also a great case, I did a review of the FX version, same thing with RGB, check it out. But if you are looking for performance, 216 then, plus it's a bit larger case too than Be Quiet. Check the video coming out tomorrow, I think you will change your mind again 😁 although not in the same ball park with price...
Connect them first to either your motherboard or LianLi Uni Hub controller, if you want to controll them directly from the case, just make sure you connected SATA power to them as well, it's needed...
What cord is it to just connect them to the motherboard? I just built my first pc and im not familiar with all the cords and I can't find any videos explaining it
Hey, nice video mate. You've got a new sub :D I saw your video bout Phanteks Nv5 too. Will u pick this case over Nv5 in therms of cooling and performance? (for R7 7800x3D and 4070Ti Super) Thanks. Greetings from Spain! :3
hello ser. i'm planning to get this case but my motherboard doesn't have 3pin 5v rgb. just one 12v 4pin rgb. can i still control the front argb fans with the controller?
Yes you can, do not connect anything to the board, just SATA power for the front ARGB controller and use the button on the case to switch through the RGB modes 👍
@@LevelUPGamingTech thank you ser. i'm afraid of buying this case and end up not being able to control the front fans after transferring all my hardware. nobody sells the argb deep cool locally here and need to order them from china.
@@pauloregala6754 You can totally control it via the case controller, no issues there. Fan speed is going through the motherboard, RGB is going through the case and boom just like that you will have RGB 😉
@@LevelUPGamingTech hello ser. Sorry for asking you again. So i bought the accessory and got the argb working for the front fans. Am i able to plug other argb fans to the controller to the same hub and controp it from there?
Okay, so I have 5 uni p28 fans. I have two locked together on top to the radiator and a daisy chained one for the rear exhaust. Then I have two on the bottom. All plugged into the fan hub plus the two from fans that came with the case. So then I plug from the fan hub the plug thing into the motherboard fan header? Is that right? Is it going to mess something up like is it too much. Any help would be awesome
No need to plug in to the motherboard if you do not want to control speed through the BIOS, as you can use L-Connect for everything. But two in the front you need to control via BIOS (motherboard)... RGB can be controlled via the hub for all the fans even the front ones
@@LevelUPGamingTech I don’t care about rgb. Just wondering if the one fan header on a motherboard is fine for all the fans on the hub. Is there a max limit. I can’t find an answer anywhere
You don't need Mobo fan header that's what I am telling you. Just connect Uni Hub to the USB 2.0 header and from L-Connect you can control each fan and use CPU or GPU for source temp
@@LevelUPGamingTech I don’t have a uni hub I’m connecting to the fan hub on the case. Is that the uni hub? There’s no usb to plug in. I don’t think we’re talking about the same thing
I hate it when dumbasses like you dont pay attention to the video then make dumb ass comments.... He clearly states that you can put 3 different size fans 2 of which are traditional sizes 140 and 120..... 🖕🖕🖕
Because at default they're in DC mode and they're running at max speed. You need to change it in BIOS to PWM mode. Then you can edit the fan curve and choose to have them running at a lower speed. Mine are running at 800 RPM during gaming and it's more than enough

hi what are those fans in the top and bottom of the case also the aio
Fans are LianLi SL v2 120 fans and AIO is LianLi Galahad 360. I did a review of the fans, just check in my videos 👍
Great review,
can you install the I/O shield on that rotational bracket or you need a motherboard with closed I/O ?
I wonder if the Corsair RM850x/RM1000x Shift is compatible with the psu width of this case?
Should be it has plenty of space on the back side 👌
What’s the best fan combo would you suggest ?or do i even need them :p
Using R5 5600x and Rx 6700Xt
Great review! Two questions.
1) would installing two 120 fans on top of the psu shroud still create positive pressure in the case?
2) what is the digital clock that you have in this video? I would love to buy one of them.
Thanks!!
Thanks buddy 😉
1. Yes it would 👍
2. That is Pixoo 64 from Divoom, cool gadget for sure 😀
Where can i buy a top dust filter for this? i already have the front one.
there's no "official" top/side dust filter for this case, so you need to make your own or buy one with similar measurements
i cannot, for the life of me, figure out why my front fans won’t light up. i followed the manual and everything is plugged into place.
Rgb connected to your motherboard? Or hub?
@@swizzler8053 the fans came already connected to the hub and i plugged the rgb header (from the hub) to my mobo’s ARGB but still no lights
Do they have SATA or not, I lost track now, if they do connect SATA cable then and then connect the RGB cable to your motherboard or LianLi controller if you use one. Also since they do have a controller in the I/O up top, check to see if there are maybe some loose wires and reconnect them if needed
There is a non RGB version of the case which is cheaper and the fans are not RGB.
what are the RGB Fan that did you use on this? Thanks. I already bought mine but I can't decide what RGB should I use
lian li 360 aio and the rest is stock.
Can you turn off the lights on the fans? The non rgb version is unavailable in my country
Yes of course you can, long press RGB button and it is off
Are you happy with the noise levels? I'm currently running my system in a define c which has incredible sound dampening with noctua fans. So I hear nothing. However that's also a 8700k which had a tdp 95w. My new build is a 12900k so thermals will be an issue in that case.
Obviously I will not achieve zero noise like I do now but would you say the 160mm fans here are bearable under load?
It s a fantastic case, but it has one problem. For example my power supply can not be mounted with the fan up, only down. Or at least I didn t know how to do it
Fan down always, so no issues 😊
@@LevelUPGamingTech indeed, but the producer recommend up…it s logic because is less air when you have the fan down. Anyway, i love 216
Fan down, PSU intakes air from outside the case and exhaust from the back, logic 😀
If fan is up on the PSU if will battle with the GPU and practically will be cooled with hot air.

Separate one for the fans
@@LevelUPGamingTechhow did you get all the lights inside the case fans etc? And does the lian li logo that lights up come with it?
Will it be okay to just go with the Stock fans ?
and if I have to get one can I mount one lian li SL140V2-1B 140 mm or 120 mm fan on top of the PSU ?
Stock fans will work fine if you have no extra fans. If you have an extra 120mm fan I highly recommend installing one above the PSU shroud.
Thermal right has a 3 pack of good fans for 12$ if you need em. TL-C12C-S is the model.
do i need to add extra fans to this case, or are the stock fans good enough for cooling?
im planning to build my new pc in this case, nothing special, just r5 5600, rx 6700xt, with amd stock cooler/buy an air cooler. i was just wondering if i need to add extra fans or the stock fans are good enough to cool my system
I would add just 2 more fans up top. Ideally you would want two more on the bottom for the GPU, but not necessarily
@@LevelUPGamingTech aight thanks for the advice!
@@LevelUPGamingTechwould you have them pull the air out, or push it in?
I'm assuming asus aura supports the fans it comes with?
Yes of course it does 👍
nzxt h7 flow 2024 or lancool 216 witch have better air folws
Tough call, H7 Flow is slightly better
@LevelUPGamingTech thx
Is this better than lancool mesh 2?
Yup, slightly, it is more or less based upon that chassis anyway 😉
@@LevelUPGamingTech thans
Put ssd 2.5" drive bay placement on shroud is not good ideal
totally needed a key great ad placement 😅
Hi, wondering if the air cooler orientation will be cool enough if I’m just using the stock front fans and back 140 fan? I have the i7 13700kf and rtx 4070 with the deepcool ak620 cpu cooler
Try it should work fine as front fans has so much power, but do consider getting at least 1 x 140mm fan at the top
How has the ak620 air cooler worked for you in this case?
@@johnnyjets2343 works phenomenal. Zero issues so far. Highly recommend
Would u go for the 216, or the mesh ii (both are priced the same)
216 is a better option for cooling right now, those 2 fans in the front are pulling enormous amount of air inside 🤘
@@LevelUPGamingTechAlright, appreciate it
@@LevelUPGamingTechit fits a 4060 ti though right?
It fits 4090 even 🤘
@@LevelUPGamingTechjust picked it up, thank you so much 🙏
Can i ask in the back of case the hub is included when i bought this pc case??
yes,it’s included.
is this case better than h5 flow or h5 elite nzxt?
In my opinion, yes!
@@LevelUPGamingTech Dude what 120m fans are these
@@AutismEthanWorld that's 160mm lol
This or the be quiet 500 DX? I cant decide
@@LevelUPGamingTech
Thanks for this good answer.
Do you know how many louder the lian li cool is then the be quiet DX?
HOW DO I TURN THE FAN LIGHTS ON
Connect them first to either your motherboard or LianLi Uni Hub controller, if you want to controll them directly from the case, just make sure you connected SATA power to them as well, it's needed...
What cord is it to just connect them to the motherboard? I just built my first pc and im not familiar with all the cords and I can't find any videos explaining it
@@redcopper2203 3pin ARGB connector, just google for it you will recognize it immediately
Hey, nice video mate. You've got a new sub :D
I saw your video bout Phanteks Nv5 too. Will u pick this case over Nv5 in therms of cooling and performance? (for R7 7800x3D and 4070Ti Super)
Thanks.
Greetings from Spain! :3
Go with 216 it's a better case 😉
guys i couldn’t turn on my rgb fans lighting on this case please help
Do you have ARGB connection on the motherboard connected to the control hub?
the panel needs power. sata cable
hello ser. i'm planning to get this case but my motherboard doesn't have 3pin 5v rgb. just one 12v 4pin rgb. can i still control the front argb fans with the controller?
Yup anything ARGB will work too 👍
Does anyone know if it comes with an anti-sag bracket?
It does and I think I said that in the video, most certainly positive that I did 👍
Does this really include a gpu anti sag bracket?
Yes as all Lian Li cases now do 😀
@@LevelUPGamingTech thanks. I just ordered mine and it should be arriving today. I hope it does have the anti sag bracket included.
@@GusionLesley-w4b thinking about ordering one , did yours come in with the bracket?
My lancool 216 came with the ant-sag bracket, specifically the GB-001model.
Is it better than the Corsair Carbide Series Air 540 ATX Cube case?
That's a completeley different case, regarding airflow 216 is better for sure 😀
what's the ambient temp? my 7600x averages around 79degree during gaming (cs2)
Oh ok then yes one PWM cable from CASE HUB to the board, and all the fans to the hub 👍
it is a huge monster
Good video
Not traditional fans? Size? Not easily replaceble? I hate it when companies do proprietary shit
yes can add 120 m m fna too
They made this thing theyre dumb
that front fan support can be configured to use the 2 160/140 or the standard 3 120s.
I hate it when dumbasses like you dont pay attention to the video then make dumb ass comments.... He clearly states that you can put 3 different size fans 2 of which are traditional sizes 140 and 120..... 🖕🖕🖕
will a full atx fit this 216 case? im doing the tomahawk b550
Yup even larger board can fit 👍
Как по мне столовые вентеляторы немного шумноваты или же я так думаю...

My front fans are loud as hell Help
They’re big so they’re loud. I switched to 3x120 and it’s very quiet
Because at default they're in DC mode and they're running at max speed. You need to change it in BIOS to PWM mode. Then you can edit the fan curve and choose to have them running at a lower speed. Mine are running at 800 RPM during gaming and it's more than enough
Nice case but shitty fan hub. It only accepts 5 V 3-pin fans. Avoid in 2024 or expect extra hazzle.
