Its called "delidding". They can either cool the cpu die directly by bypassing the lid, or replace the lid adding better thermal interface material in between (going from thermal paste to liquid metal for example)

Where did you get the distro, is it handmade? If you're already using Watercool, why not Aquacomputer Double Protect Ultra directly? Why not the Mora 3 420 in White/Snowwhite externally ;) All good German quality, we are well positioned here. But respect, this is the first Hyte 70 that I like directly. I've been working with custom loops for a very long time, but this is amazing, my respect. p.s. its white Acteal/ POM-C for the Distro?

Change to liquid metal
They remove the heatspreder from Intel and put the water cooling block directly on top for better thermals.
