Here, I did figure out the chords and could reasonably fake it from your performance a week ago but this lesson really captures the cool nuances of this specific classic Bee Gees tune that translates so well into our general styles as well! Those Cork straps from Resonance Cork are fantastic…. Look as good as leather (if not better), but lighter… and trying to help progress environmentally sustainable products is always a plus. Love those straps!

Thanks for the tutorial! Love this well written song. Because of their key choice for piano, it made the chord shapes awkward for guitar. My solution was to place a capo on the first fret, but still play it in the original key. This changed the shape of each chord, and enabled me to utilize more open chords. The first chord shape for my version is now simply D, followed by Dmaj7. The Ab/Bb chord is simplified to A7sus4. Using the capo eliminates most of the bar chords, with one of the exceptions being the Gb minor7 (formerly the G minor7). Give it a try.
Will be trying this today! Thx. It will be my first new song learned since getting covid for 1st time and being a hallucinating, sleeping zombie for a week!
love me some swift lessons! but that was my first impression...why all the awkward flat chord shapes? i like your idea of knocking it down or up a tone to more guitar friendly open chords. thanks to Rob for the progression that i would not have figured out in a million years. wonderful song.

Great Work - We played OG and classic rock from the day like so many BUT every once in a while we used our greatest talents to reach out and play a Vocal Super Group like C, S, N & Y or as you did the BeeGees.. out came 'Fanny Be Tender" after a thunderous "Whipping Post" and we got a surprising number of requests for other great vocal classics.. I Say: "*Know* Your Room and Play to Their *Hearts* and you can't go wrrong"- _Jaye_... - I think I'll watch you work for a while.. - Peace
Yeah, safe to say that’s the trickiest change in the tune. Generally, C shape bar chords are a pain, but once you have them down there’s a lot of applications.
