Thank you for emphasizing that a healthy baby is what's most important. I found out during my "gender ultrasound" that my child had Trisomy 18, which is "incompatible with life". I carried her to term and she lived 6 weeks. I have a new appreciation for the miracle of life and birth. We will continue to pray for you and your baby boy. See you this weekend!

Congratulations on Baby Boy #2! I have a daughter and a son. They are 7 years apart. I wasn't supposed to be able to have any more children, but when my daughter was 2, I started praying for another child. Five years later my prayers were answered.
I had two kids, 1 girl & 1 boy. Both were premature, my daughter at 29 weeks,my son at 35 weeks. Both are healthy and living life. I have 3 grandbabies that I get to see all the time since they live next door. I am blessed 😇

My girls are 7 years apart and I was sooooo worried! But I can not find 2 people closer. I truly think they are closer then twins. Everyone has commented on it. Fin is so sweet and will be a great big brother. I am so happy for you!!

I had 3 babies in 3.5 years! Very close. My first two, girl then boy, are 2 years apart. The middle and the youngest (girl) are 14 months apart . They are all best friends. They are now 35, 32, 31. The youngest two are like twins. They even shared an apartment together after college! Just enjoy each phase, it goes by so fast. I have 2 grandsons, brothers, that are 2.5 years apart and so much fun! Congratulations on another boy!
Congratulations!!! My brother and I are seven years apart. When my mom had him it was like she brought home a real life baby doll. He has always been my favorite person in the whole world. Even now as we are older we still talk or email or text at least once a day and I'm 46, he's 39. The age gap won't matter. ❤

My brother and I have an age difference of nine years.
Regrettably, I am unable to have children of my own, but I am fortunate that my brother has been blessed with two lovely children. My nephew is turning five years old, and my niece is three months old. I cherish my role as an aunt and find great joy in being a part of their lives.
The 1st time I watched this, I was in the noisy airport, so I couldn't hear most of it. Just watched it again, and it may be my favorite W&W video yet! ❤ Once little man is born, you take all the time you need. Mom of three boys. All three pregnancies were completely different. 21 months between the first and second. 5 3/4 years between 2nd and 3rd. 2nd and third have always been super close. My 3rd was supposed to be my girl, but am so thankful that he is all boy (he's 25 now). Blessings to you and your family. Prayers for continued good health for you and #2 and an easy delivery.
My daughter had a boy first then a girl 5 years later. My grandson is the biggest best big brother! So gentle and loving. He is 6 now and my granddaughter is 17 months now. She is always taking his toys and such and he just keepa his cool and asks for it back and tries to offer her something else. So I'm sure Finn is going to be great.
Whitney, I had four kids with 2 boys in the middle. They were 2 years apart. It worked really well. The two sisters were first and last but weren't as close.
That being said, we raised our younger daughter's sons who are 3 years apart, and it still works. They are now 26 and 23 years old now. The older brother, Robert, was such a big help for his A.D.D. younger brother, Cody. Finn is at a great age to be the big brother.
Our daughter had her 2nd son this year and it’s just the best. His big brother is besotted with him and we’re all so happy. My kids are 4.5 years apart and are besties and always have been. The gap doesn’t matter, it’s how you bring them up and you’ll do that extremely well 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
First off, CONGRATULATIONS ON A HEALTHY BABY!!!! Praise God for this precious gift. Second, my daughters are 5 years apart. The first few years were typical “when is she going to do something?” But they ended up being best of friends and now as adults (47/42) and are miles apart they still text/chat all the time. They ended up having daughters 4 weeks apart. I’m so happy for you all. Finn is going to be a wonderful big brother.
Congratulations! My boys are 11 years apart. I remember when my oldest was in High School and his little brother was only 4 he was very protective of him. Now they are Best Friends and work together. Your boys will do great together and Finn will be a great big brother.

My boys are 4 1/2 yrs apart. I also had trouble getting pregnant with my second one. Then I had a surprise and had my daughter 22 months after my second son. They are all very close now that they are grown. In fact, in the summer of 2020 they all had babies. So we now have 3 four yr olds who are very close ( the 3 amigos) ! Love it!
We’ve got 3 daughters and with each pregnancy, we thought we might have a son. We couldn’t have any more babies due to complications with my third, but I wouldn’t trade my girls for the world! Healthy is always the most important thing! So excited for your family! ❤
My daughters are 5 years apart. They weren't close until they were 10 and 15. Now they can't live without each other. They're video chatting every day and are the best of friends. There are still arguments, but my fears that they would never be close have been put to rest.

My daughters are (3 months short of) 10 years apart. My 2nd was a surprise...after the 1st, my OB said that I'd probably never get pregnant again & that if I did, I'd never carry to term. She just left my place today...she came here for part of her vacation.

I also got to spend that first year with the second baby while the older one was in school. Now I have three grandkids and the oldest girl is six years older almost to the day. My kids are 7 yrs apart, my daughters kids are 7 years apart. It worked out great for both of us. When one kids braces were fully paid for, it was time for the other kid to get them. High school expenses were spread out to. HS cost a lot with proms, graduation stuff, etc. Guess what I'm trying to say is that having the kids so far apart gave us time to breath between them.

We had planned for 3ish years between our kids but ended up with 2 girls 5 years and 9 days apart. It was great when the baby was born because my eldest was in school and it gave me time to bond with the baby while my daughter was being kept busy. There are some ages when it is hard to do activities that can interest both of them but right now they’re 10 and 5 and they love each other and play so well together. Congrats!

We have age gaps like that, and it was a great gap. They help you and can play safely while you're taking care of the baby. When they get a little older, he will be so helpful to his brother. That is great spacing. My kids are almost exactly 4 yrs apart. Girl and boy. She was a great helper then and now. My husband wanted more kids but we didn't get married until 27 and 28. And then it took awhile to conceive. Best wishes! Being a boy mama is the best.

My sister and I are 7 years apart. We are each grandmothers now. Even though we had a large age gap we were ( weirdly) always close growing up. My 2 kids ( boy and girl) are 3 3/4 yrs apart. They are both married and live 8 houses away from each other. ( a 3 minute car ride up the road from us) My Son-in -laws 2 brothers and mother live within a 2 minute walk from them. We may get busy in our daily lives but we know if we need anything family is right there!

Since one was starting Kindergarten when the other was about to be born, it gave me bonding (and napping) time alone with the baby during the days in the beginning. My grandkids are 4 years about. 10, 6 and 2. The oldest two are boys and they are extremely close. Now they are both very protective of their younger sister. A loving family regardless of age gaps produces close kids. As long as you continue to do things as a family they will appreciate each other even more.

My older children went to a big brother/sister class at the hospital. They were a great help when my youngest was born. They were 51/2 and 41/2 yrs apart. As long as you include Finn in the care of the baby, everything will be good!

They have always been close as well as extremely protective of each other. I love that they have such a tight bond and are each other's best friends too! It's a boy. Congratulations. All that matters is the baby is healthy. I think the age gap will be fine. It may even be better. I never drank coffee until I was pregnant. I was so tired all the time, but now drink 1/2 decaf. It is important for you to take the time with the baby and your family. They will be change and you all need to adapt. Oh I love the vintage sports theme I use to coach softball for my daughters for 9 yrs when they were little and they were in sports all yr round. That is exciting!! I am a firm believer that sports help our kids socialize and learn discipline of ups and downs that they will need in adult life ❤
Great news! So glad you had a great ultrasound and are well on your way to having a happy, healthy baby! The best advice my mother gave me was that if my sister and I didn’t have someone else we had each other. I used that same tactic with my two children, a boy and a girl. My sister and I are very close and my two children are very close. Good luck and enjoy your two boys!

I was pregnant with my third boy when my mom was like, "you need to try again for a girl." I was like, "I am literally pregnant right now and you already want me to be pregnant again?! Not to mention I have no control over that." People say the durndest things. Congrats on your boys. 🎉

Congratulations on this pregnancy! Thank God you and your baby are healthy ❤ I had two boys and was the only female in the house. I loved every minute of it all. I decided at age 37 I would have my tubes tied. At my female wellness check up I requested at tubal and standard procedure is to do a pregnancy test before scheduling the procedure. Well, that’s when I was told I was pregnant with baby #3. 7 years difference between the baby and my second son. Yep! You guest it!!! Almost 17 years ago I had a baby girl❤

Dear Whitney, I am so impressed with how to are staying true to who you are and not letting others influencing your personal decisions. From how many kids to have and your name choice, everyone wants to weigh in on baby names but they got to pick their kids names and you get to pick yours...end of story. I am so happy baby boy is doing great and you just glow!
So good to hear you are doing well! My sons are 4 years apart and they would fight but they were each others bud too. My 2nd son has Autism Spectrum Disorder so there were some years that were difficult but they love and respect each other. The one thing that stands out was how protective my older son was to his brother. It amazed me! They are now 28 and 32 and don’t live in the same town, but should the need arises I feel confident they have each other’s back. My daughter in law is also expecting. It will be our first grandchild and I can hardly wait! I look forward to your upcoming DIYs. Also excited to hear from you four ladies about the pincers conference. Have fun!!
